I'm not giving this book a 3 star review because it's a bad book. I'm giving it a 3 because there seems as if there was no editing done. From the very first chapter, there's a crap load of grammatical errors. For someone like me that reads so much and does reviews for books constantly, I'm struggling to get through this book. And I couldn't wait to read about Boa! I don't remember lethal ties 1 being bad like this grammatically. Maybe she rushed it out. I'm not sure but I'm struggling.

10-11-25 Okay I successfully finished it. It was a great read. Not much character development to be had because they are who they are and they've been those people since the beginning. But like previously stated, it would just have been a lot better if there was editing done. Even someone going through and reading the book once through would have caught a lot of the errors. They were prevalent throughout the whole book. I only say something because I truly enjoy this author and I want her to write to her best potential and I don't want anyone to turn away from her books due to something as small as grammar. Maybe she should consider arc readers if this is something she struggles with. But it didn't show that grammar was this big of a problem in the first book.

Boa was crazy and funny all day long! Jurnee got her hands full with that one! Im so glad they handled that lunatic Khaos! It was sad Boa's snake almost killed him, upon which Uncle Pete had to kill it! Their whole family was hilarious, was just wondering who they caught Taylor with in the end! Hmm!!

Good part 2 of lethal ties

This was a good continuation of Lethal Ties, definitely some trigger warnings. This book was a bit more graphic and dark than book 1. A few things need to be addressed still but overall a good book. It gave insight into so many unanswered questions.

this was sooooo good!

This book was so good. The representation of schizophrenia being left untreated and the toll it can take on a whole community was well written. I enjoyed Boa being Boa and the Malone family picking on him, making me laugh. I can’t wait until book 3!

Like with the first book, I loved the story it’s just the grammar took away from the story. That’s my only real complaint because Boa was always the life of the party lol. I wonder if they’ll be a part 3 with their sister & Jeffrey 🤔

Pretty good.

Both books were not what I expected. But I do really like how this family stick together through think and thin. Malik was very unhinged but I was glad his crazy self did not survive. He was wild. Lol the family dynamic was something else had a lot of funny parts.

I’M GLAD THIS OVER…

THIS WAS JUST EXTRA LONG FOR NO REASON 🙄. EDITING WAS JUST AS BAD IN THIS ONE AS IT WAS IN THE FIRST ONE. THEN SHE ENDED IT ON A DANG CLIFFHANGER🙄😔 3 1/2 ⭐️

This was a solid story but I think I liked Boa more in the first book. Not to say that I didn’t enjoy him in this one, he was just funnier in book one. Also, this could have been a quick read but the amount of errors was very distracting. Having to edit while I read is not what I want to do and it caused me to pause the book a few times. Other than that, this was decent.
