Forgive me, Father, for I love to sin… I make naughty movies for three masked men.
I did bad, bad things with my stepbrother.
I robbed my stepbrother's best friend of his V card.
But, worst of all…I crave another sweet taste of my stepdaddy.
Do not forgive me, Father, for my sins belong to them.
When I wake, wrists bound and chained inside a cage, three masked men stare back at me like starved savages. I know God won’t save me. Not from them, and not from the sins I’m about to commit with them.
I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
I enjoyed reading Dirty Little Convict! The characters are all so well crafted! You fall in love with all of when despite there differences. Barrett creates the perfect settings to release the characters darkest desires.
Lennon is full of taboo wants. She has a thing for the forbidden which just happens to include her step-brother and step-father. Her mother forces her to tell a lie that changes the family dynamics forever. On the way to a friend’s event, she didn’t realize she would never arrive. She has to face her past again. But, will it be such a bad thing?
This was a quick exciting read! I loved the author’s use of normal everyday conversation in character exchanges. The only thing I didn’t care for was references to God, hell, and religious references. Other than that it was great!
The last book in the series and what a way to end it bleedin ell. No surprise, there are masks and three filthy buggers chasing and kidnapping some poor sod. This time we have the FMCs stepdad who she was in love with 🤨, his son, who is also her ex-boyfriend, and his now boyfriend, who also happens to like getting to grips with the stepdad 🧐. It’s bloody free for all and boy does she go through it they all do 🤣.
This novella series has been a ride. It’s just absolute utter ridiculous filth. It’s been an education at times, I’ve laughed a lot and the dedications alone to each book deserve a round of applause 👏🏻👏🏻. I think some of these have audios which would be fun I’m sure.
These are very filthy palette cleansers. Defo check TW etc etc if you have triggers and enjoy them or don’t 🤷🏻♀️. That’s it.
The tropes in this book - WE LISTEN AND WE DON’T JUDGE. I am clutching my pearls and I am a dark romance enthusiast. It started HOT from the beginning and never slowed down. 😮💨 My bad for not knowing this was book number six in the series, but I caught on quick. Definitely check trigger warnings and only read this if you want a book similar to how Shantel Tessier writes in the L.O.R.D.S. series. It is unhinged, sexy, twisted, and a quick read. Soooo All the things I enjoy. 🤣
WOW!! This was a little dark! But oh so good!! I love when the guys are completely obsessed with her but also kinda hate her, it makes it that much sweeter when everyone gives in! It’s a little twisted because they kidnap her, drug her, lock her up, and use her (she loves it though) It’s such a wild ride and I just love Lennon of course but the guys?!! Hux, Stone, and Kincaid are amazing!!
🥽 Masked Men 🐾 Primal Play 💋 Taboo Romance 🥀 Forbidden 💞 Why Choose ⛓️ Stepfather/Stepbrother
Mind the TW! But I’m so grateful to Hambright PR for this ARC!!
Dirty Little Convict (Sinners Welcome #6) by Samantha Barrett ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Interconnected Standalone * Multiple POV * Masked Men * Taboo * Stepfather x Step-daughter * Step-brother x step-sister * kidnapping * S€x Work * MM * MF * MMFM * Fear Kink * Restrained * 110 pages
This was a short, steamy novella and the sixth book in the Sinners Welcome series. And trust me, this series doesn’t just bring the heat it dives deep into very taboo territory. If dark romance featuring stalkers and dubious consent makes you clutch your pearls, then this one definitely isn’t for you.
Why? Because this one starts off with non-consent and quickly shifts into dubious consent with three masked men. And who are they? Well, one stays a mystery for a while… and the other two are her stepbrother and her stepdad.
Are you still with me? Yes? Then welcome to the kind of taboo books I live for. I devoured this story fast and loved every wild moment. Some scenes had me literally pausing, going "wait… how?" only to reread and slowly map out where every character was, because honestly, they’re surprisingly plausible. And now I’m side-eyeing my husband like… I might need to clone him so we can attempt a few of these setups. They sounded THAT fun.
You also need to know that this story throws you right into the deep end without flotties, so you’ve got to be ready to dive straight in. Now I’m curious about the earlier books, most of them seem to feature some kind of step-(insert descriptor here) dynamic, which has me wanting to read every. single. one. Especially when you get lines like this… “Forgive me, Father, for I am so ready to sin with my daddy… again.”
This was a solid 4-star read for me. The taboo factor definitely carried this one, the stepdad/stepbrother dynamic mixed with the stepbrother’s best friend was chef’s kiss for readers who enjoy pushing boundaries. Kincaid’s dominance over Lennon was especially hot and the spice level was turned all the way up from start to finish.
I usually don’t gravitate toward novellas because relationships tend to move way too fast for my taste but surprisingly, this one didn’t disappoint. It kept me hooked and entertained the whole time. That said, I did find myself thinking Lennon should’ve figured out who the third person was sooner, especially since she already knew he was Stone’s best friend, that reveal felt a little too obvious to stay hidden for long.
Overall, the story was captivating and definitely a turn-on but I would’ve enjoyed it more if there had been more plot development alongside the smut. The chemistry was there, no question, I just wanted a deeper storyline to really ground everything.
While novellas aren’t usually my go-to, this did make me curious about what Samantha Barrett could do with a full-length novel. I’d be willing to try one to see if the added space gives more depth to the story and characters.
It’s been a while since I read a why choose romance and damn this own was SPICY. Like max level spice at least 4.5 chilli’s. I mean what else would you expect when the plot really is a girl getting kidnapped by her step father, step brother and step brothers boyfriend and they decide to “ruin her” for revenge. There is quite a bit of angst mixed in here too that adds contract and cuts out some of the spiciness. I really enjoyed that too, however it was clear that the lines between passion and actual revenge started blurring pretty quickly into the kidnapping. The ending was a little rushed in my opinion, I think we could have gotten a little more explanation and cool down after that major twist. However I do love the way it ended, it did feel like a very full circle moment and this book would have been perfect if the cooldown was a little longer. I’m not the biggest fan of Lennon, however I do really like Hux and Stone. They’re the MM within this MMFM book, and I loved all their smutty interactions and clear love for each other. This was a fun, taboo, dark spicy novella and I’m definitely going to add some more of this series to my tbr. I give this a 4.5/5
Samantha writes faster than an Italian sprinting toward a wine sale, and Dirty Little Convict proves she’s not slowing down anytime soon.
We’ve got found family. We’ve got a little taboo. Actually—scratch that—we’ve got a lot of taboo. There’s kidnapping (as you do), revenge, and more filth than a sinner’s confessional. These boys? They track her through her OnlyFans of all places, stalk her like the hottest crime documentary ever, and then collectively go, “Yeah, she’s ours now.”
Next thing you know, she’s being folded like a pretzel in the name of vengeance—three different ways till Sunday—and I was just sitting there like: Ma’am, are you okay? Also… how do I sign up?..daddy
This book is DIRTY. It’s FILTHY. It’s so downright sinful it could make a priest faint and a nun take notes. Read it in one gloriously chaotic afternoon and had the time of my life.
10/10 banger. Highly recommend if you enjoy your romance with a side of moral corruption and just a touch of voyeuristic awakening.
Was I so hooked that I didn’t even highlight stuff? Yeah.
This novella was everything it promised to be. Filthy, smutty and so much fun. Ever since reading the tropes, I had been excited to see how it was going to play out, but the revenge elements, the masks and the different kinks were amazingly done.
All three guys were unique and each had their own motivations and needs, I liked how interconnected they were besides all wanting Lennon, the dad and the son, and the bf and the son…all thinking of the other and Lennon.
And Lennon? Loved her down. She owned her body, her wants and her needs and I couldn’t fault her for anything. Her situation was awful but her comeback was historic.
I will find myself rereading this bad boy…and I’ll probably go and pick up more books from Samantha now that I know what she writes!
Well this was a spicy little thing wasn’t it? Lennon our FMC had lied and sent her stepdad to prison saying he touched her. So he’s out and ready to exact revenge. But wait there is so much more. As well as being in love with her stepdad she is also in love with her stepbrother and his boyfriend/bestfriend.
If you love masked men and degradation, which lucky me I do, you are going to devour this. The only thing that sucked is I just wish it had been longer.
Thank you to Hambright PR and Samantha Barrett for sending this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
WOW! I absolutely ate this up! I absolutely love a filthy novella and this is up there with one of my faves! A filthy taboo romance that was written so well!
I absolutely loved the plot in this, even though it was only a small plot line, it worked really well and complimented the spice in the best way!
This book has so many of my faves tropes, primal play, masked men?!
“Forgive me father for I am so ready to sin with my daddy….again” 🤭🥵
Stepdad, stepbrother and his boyfriend with masks?! Urgh, do I need to say more?!
Tropes: - masked men - primal play - taboo romance - forbidden - why choose - stepfather/stepbrother
Thank you to Hambright PR and Samantha Barrett for the ARC copy of Dirty Little Convict, it’s going to live rent free in my head🤭
This is a short and very hot novella. Lennon is atoning for her ‘sins’ by being kidnapped by 3 masked men and she’s trying to be upset by it but failing honestly. Just the kind of quick smutty pick me up I needed.
I was pleasantly surprised that this was MFMM, I wasn’t expecting that, however I was let down by the lack of ‘realism’ with the MM scenes. Literally no lube was used. I know this isn’t always a thing, but there was zero prep and zero lube…repeatedly…even when it was copiously described as such for Lennon. This really bugged me, hence my star rating.
*I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review*
Dirty Little Convict had me clutching my Kindle like it owed me answers. Her stepdad, stepbrother, and stepbrother’s boyfriend all wanting her? Not just obsessed—feral, possessive, and ready to ruin her in every way. The spice was blistering, the tension was filthy, and the way these three men claimed Lennon? I was kicking my feet, blushing, AND questioning my morals. A fast, filthy, can’t-put-it-down read and I regret NOTHING. 🖤🔥
The way I ate this book up!!! If you’re looking for top-tier spice here, you go, pick this up. There’s something about taboo romances I adore. The way I would drop to my knees for stone.
This book is extremely taboo but honestly it was good for cute short and spicy dark romance! It definitely keeps your attention and is a perfect before bed read! 😉
Another quickie for my dark romance girlies 🖤 Masked men, unhinged MMCs, primal play and a reverse harem that leans fully into the taboo. Check the TWs, but if you’re a bit unhinged like me, you’ll enjoy every questionable and filthy page. ❤️🔥
This one is fast, dark and unapologetic. It’s book 6 of The Sinners Welcome novella series but can be read as a standalone. Already looking forward to reading the others (which are on Kindle Unlimited). 🙌🏼
Huge thanks to Samantha Barrett and Hambright PR for giving me this e-copy. I loved jt & all opinions are my own.
Samantha has given us another hot and smutty novella. This one has the FMC in love with her Stepdad who has been released from prison. She also wants her stepbrother. They kidnap Lennon and do all kinds of naughty things. This book is taboo and forbidden. It also has maked men and primal play. Read the trigger warnings before diving in!
I attended a panel discussion at Love N Vegas that Samantha Barrett was part of, which sparked my curiosity in her books. This novella seemed like a good opportunity to dip my toes in her dark and spicy writing.
A forbidden stepbrother and/or stepfather romance is one of my guilty pleasures, and I love a why choose, but sadly, this novella missed the mark for me.
With three masked MMC’s who want revenge for Lennon’s lies that sent one of them to prison, they abduct her, but their revenge looks more like all the dirty fantasies Lennon has ever dreamed about her stepfather and stepbrother.
So first, what I liked in this book. Huxley is the long time best friend, and current boyfriend, of Lennon’s stepbrother. He also has a history with Lennon. I loved Hux! Showing his dominance with Lennon when he is so submissive to Stone, along with his soft heart that wants to care for Lennon while he is undeniably loyal to his found family.
This novella is pure dark smut with primal play, pain, and fear, which typically isn’t my go-to, but I knew this going in, though if you’re looking for character development and plot, that’s not what this is.
I struggled with what I’ll call plot holes, without giving too much away. It didn’t take much for Lennon to figure out the identity of two of the masked men, but not the third. Given their relationships three years ago, this didn’t make any sense to me. There were so many times she was trying to figure it out and it seemed too obvious.
The lies that sent one of the men to prison and the leverage Lennon’s mother used to manipulate her daughter didn’t work for me. It seemed so unrealistic since Lennon was already an adult and her mother’s issues should have made law enforcement skeptical of the situation. Yes, anyone can make a report, but there would be a whole lot more sex offenders in prison if it was that easy to get a conviction. But again, plot isn’t the driving force of this book.
While this wasn’t my cup of tea, for other readers it just may be the perfect dirty little novella to spice up your Kindle.
I had the opportunity to read an early copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest review.
🔥 Forgive me Father, for I devoured this filthy little book 🔥
4 ⭐️ | 4.75 🌶️
Dirty Little Convict is my first taste of Samantha Barrett and let me tell you, it was one hell of a sinful introduction.
This is the 6th installment in the Sinners Welcome series, but it absolutely works as a standalone. Short, fast, and unapologetically filthy, this book was the perfect palette cleanser after a streak of heavier, plot-driven reads. If you’re coming in expecting a deep, complex storyline… you might want to check your expectations at the confessional. This one is here to tempt, tease, and ruin you; and it does exactly that.
Barrett gives us Lennon, a college student funding her education through OnlyFans, whose life takes a very dark and spicy turn when fantasy bleeds into reality. What follows is a deliciously twisted why choose dynamic involving three masked men and trust me, the connections between them are as taboo as they are messy.
The relationship web is wild: • a former stepbrother • a former stepfather • overlapping lovers • shared obsession • mutual desire
Yes, it’s a relationship maze. Yes, it’s morally questionable. Yes, I ate it up anyway 💁🏼♀️ (sue me).
This book is smut-forward and story-light, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The spice is heavy, the vibes are dark and forbidden, and the tropes are delivered loud and clear: masked men, primal play, taboo romance, and zero shame. I did pause more than once to question the logistics of certain positions but honestly? I was still seated 💅🏼.
If you’re looking for: • angst without emotional exhaustion • spice without slow burn • a quick, dirty escape that doesn’t pretend to be anything else
…Dirty Little Convict will absolutely scratch that itch.
Not deep (that’s what she said). Not subtle. But undeniably hot and highly effective.
Huge thanks to Hambright PR for the e-ARC, and congratulations to Samantha Barrett on the release. Dirty Little Convict officially hit shelves on November 15th. Consider me intrigued and very open to sinning again 😈

“Dirty Little Convict” is the newest, sixth book in the “Sinners Welcome” series. After all previous books, it was obvious that I would pick this story up. So… meet Lennon and her three masked men.
Again, we’re thrown straight into deep water. Samantha Barrett gives us a short introduction to the whole situation between our characters, and after that we can start the real fun. And there’s a lot of fun here. Masked men, MM and MFM spicy scenes, stepdaddy and stepbrother with his boyfriend, a cage, and kidnapping. This short story comes with a full board of trigger warnings. And the best part is that all of them are unhinged and morally devastated. Not only the guys — sometimes Lennon is even better than them.
I’m happy I was up to date with the series, because even though this story has everything I really enjoy, “Dirty Little Convict” doesn’t bring anything new. Some readers think that in “Dirty Brothers” Samantha Barrett went too far with the spice, but personally that moment felt original to me — something I’ve never encountered in books before. If you want to know what I’m talking about, you need to read “Dirty Brothers”.
So “Dirty Little Convict” was a nice read, but I wasn’t shocked. I won’t say it was a bad story, because that wouldn’t be true. And I have proof! I was reading “Dirty Little Convict” on the bus and missed my stop. So honestly, this story is captivating. The scenes are well-written and visual. They’re filthy, insatiable, and totally crooked. If you like short, hot stories with a reverse harem and a why choose trope, the whole “Sinners Welcome” series should be on your TBR.
Dirty Little Convict is a dark, unapologetically filthy novella that wastes absolutely no time throwing you into the fire. Samantha Barrett delivers a super spicy, morally twisted ride that’s perfect for readers who like their romance dangerous, taboo, and dripping in power shifts. Lennon finds herself kidnapped by three men from her past—her ex-stepbrother, his boyfriend, and her ex-stepdad—but there’s a sinister twist: they’re all masked. Their mission is revenge. Lennon’s lie put Kincaid in prison, and the men closest to him want retribution. What starts as punishment quickly spirals into obsession, because beneath the anger and betrayal, they’re all burning for a taste of her. The tension is suffocating in the best way. The masks add an extra layer of menace and mystery, heightening every interaction and making the power imbalance feel even more dangerous. Barrett leans hard into the taboo and doesn’t flinch, delivering scene after scene of scorching heat that will leave you fanning yourself. But the real magic happens when the script flips. Lennon refuses to stay powerless, and when she starts pulling the shots, the dynamic shifts fast and hard. Watching all four characters collide—emotionally and physically—while they each grapple with desire, control, and revenge is wildly addictive. By the time Lennon takes charge, it’s clear she’s no victim, and everyone involved ends up seeing stars. Short, savage, and ridiculously hot, Dirty Little Convict is a quick read that packs a filthy punch. If you love dark romance novellas with masks, revenge, taboo dynamics, and a fierce FMC who turns the tables, this one is absolutely worth the ride. 🔥
