Ribbon of Hope describes the journey of a son struggling through his mother’s battle with breast cancer. It reveals the internal battle that takes place and almost derails his life on his journey to accepting the unexpected and finding a way to survive. Through the troubling events and influences of others throughout his storm, he realizes that even in the midst of a hopeless situation, God has a way of restoring hope when all seems lost."
This book was our bookclub's title of the month. I read the blurb and didn't want to read it because I had suffered the loss of my family members and it still affects me strongly to this day. I have friends and their family members that are fighting the struggle daily and thought it would give me some insight into their struggle. Without giving away the story, it impacted me greatly because it showed me that every one grieves differently and that God's mercy and grace is enduring. God bless the author and all that hear his words and understand his journey.
