Rate this book
Where did feminism begin? Where is it today? And where is it going tomorrow?
From the suffragettes who fought for the vote to the leaders of today’s global equality movements, feminism has always been about more than rights—it’s about reshaping society. When It Began, Where We Are Now, and Where We Are Going takes readers on a powerful journey through the history of feminist thought, the challenges still facing women, and the vision for a more inclusive future.
Inside you’ll discover how waves of feminism changed politics, culture, and everyday life; why intersectionality matters for women of all races, classes, and identities; and how the next generation is carrying the torch toward equality.
Part history, part call to action, and part inspiration, this book is for anyone who believes in the ongoing fight for justice.
Feminism isn’t finished. It’s evolving. And you are part of the story.

Feminism yay!!!!

Feminism: Where It Began, Where We Are Now, and Where We Are Going by Anita Kepley, PhD, provides a clear overview of feminism’s history and how it connects to current issues.

It’s an accessible, big-picture read that works well as an introduction, even if it doesn’t explore every modern debate in depth.
