Their love story continues... the battle for the lost kingdom is nigh.
Lexi wakes in Torin’s arms, the glow of their handfasting still warm between them — husband and wife. Happy. Content. But the throne of Riaghalbane awaits. A war is raging. They must join the battle to reclaim what was stolen from her brother Max.
Torin is ready to fight. Lexi is ready to stand beside him.
Together they ride into a storm, meeting the danger of time traveling villains, medieval castles, near mortal blows, unreal memories, crazy time-shifts, and uncles who are looping the same day over and over.
And through it all, they’re trying to keep their cat, Dude, safe.
In 14th century Scotland, one man will risk everything to win the throne for his brother-in-arms and protect the woman he loves — and the future they were meant to share.
Torin and the Battle is the heart-pounding third installment in the Torin and the Princess series. If you crave sweeping romance, epic battles, and characters who fight for each other against all odds… this one is for you.
(Perfect for fans who love fun and quirky stories about a warrior’s devotion, a princess finding her power, and the kind of happily-ever-after that’s hard-won and never guaranteed.)

I just finished books 1 and 2. They were ok but the ridiculousness ratcheted up in book 3. Kings this dumb deserve to be usurped. The idea to keep going back further in time to try.to win back the kingdom was obviously not going to work. But to go back in time with modern weapons but no training on them was the kicker. Max couldn't hit anything with his rifle. And then either jammed or ran out of ammo when he had Ran mild in his sights. I couldn't take.any more
What a good story! As the title suggests there is a battle. It’s a big battle that kinda takes a long time. But along with the battle there is love, humor, family, and duty. The characters are endearing, the plot contains the required twists, and the banter is exceptional! This is the third book in the Torin and the Princess series. The series needs to be read in order. Highly recommend!
This book was really good though it ended to soon I definitely can't wait to see how it all comes together in the next book!! Torin and Lexi are so cute together and Dude the cat is such a added bonus. I love all the silly things he does in the story, hope to see him in the future series. I recommend this book to you with a 5 Stars review. I won't give away content of the book that's for you the reader to find out what happens. 😍😍😍
I absolutely love reading these books from Diana Knightley. She makes you feel like you are traveling in time with Lexi and Torin. Dude the cat is priceless, always bringing a bit of levity to the story. These stories makes me want to find my own Scottish protector.
I'm 74 years old and I've read sooooooo many books! I have never felt so close to any character than I have to these two! Diana Knightley is an unbelievably wonderful author! She makes you laugh, cry, despair, and fall in love with her characters. This series, which started with the book...Kaitlyn and the Highlander, are the best I've ever read!
Book 3 of the Series is all about the Battle to regain the rightful throne, and it doesn’t disappoint. Diana Knightley has written another great story that keeps the reader glued to the pages. I highly recommend this writer! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book. I read it in a day and a half. The way she brought Nor's and Livvy's brothers and sisters into this book was my absolute favorite! Also them getting married! And who don't just love Dude!
I say it every single time Diana puts out a new book...its too short. I love that she uses music to scare the guys in the castle in the past. Cracks me up. Always a fun adventure. Thanks again Diana for a great read.
Torin from the past lands in the future and falls in love with Lexi. Lexi is a princess and didn’t know it. She marries Torin in 2004. Now after a battle they are stranded in 1308.
