You Are Summoned 5: A LitRPG Adventure

Rate this book
Earth continues to struggle as the system infuses our world with mana.

Creatures and those seeking power lurk on the fringes and it’s up to Rico and the other summoned beings to hold back the tide.

With each summoning, Rico grows in power, and that power will help him resist the threats to our world. Unfortunately, there is threat right under Rico’s nose, a threat that might not only spell Rico’s doom, but also Earth’s.

Book 5 in this unique spin on isekai LitRPG, about a MC turned into a summon minion who has to complete tasks for random summoners, allowing for a variety of adventures, foes, and missions as he progresses in power each time... But is any of it random?

Book five

I've read this entire series as it was being worked on over on Royalroad.
It's one of my favorite series. I find it Very unique and creative. And I'm sorry there's there's not more to read over on royal road right now it makes me A little sad. I can't wait till the series starts up again.

9/10 I just had so much fun reading this series.

Fantastical Beasts? No worries Rico is on the job!

There's nothing that I like better than reading a book where the MC is a summoner. It's reminiscent of a deck-building litRPG, which is my absolute favorite sub-genre. Where the Summoned are sometimes sentient. Dean Henegar is golden when it comes to Word-Smithing a fun series! And you should give Cat Core another series he wrote a try. In this book Rico is training military personnel on what to do when the system finally arrives... such as how to deal with a summoner and their minions, or how to deal with fantastical monsters. Rico himself is also, with all the rewards from his own summonings, getting closer to the third tier. Tier three is not just a personal goal but a system generated goal as well. And when that happens, we'll let's just say ummm Rico's life changes and let's just say that he's got more control over what he does... and leave it at that. You'd be surprised at how many litRPG's mention the iconic Hogwarts academy.
So yeah grab the book and enjoy.

You are Summoned is the fifth book in this series, and it's here that we begin to find out the internal workings of the system coming to earth, as well as a whole lot of the motivations for many other things that has happened to the main character since the series started. We also find out what happens to summoned individuals when their world gets inducted into the system. It's all very revealing, and leaves us looking forward to the next book in the series. Well done.

excellent abroad

The author’s performance while abroad either as a summoned being or in any other capacity continues to be Excellent. While any thing dealing with Earth continues to have a rating of Poor. I think it stems from every body (military, people, police, etc) not acting normal or like Americans would. Every interaction seems over the top fake. While not on Earth the adventures couldn’t be better.

Beyond summoned

I was worried that when Rico advanced to the point of no longer being a summoned being that the story would lag. And for a while it did. But it quickly returned to the exciting story I wanted.
More plot twist. A class advancement that at first seemed underwhelming but is showing potential, and a pretty epic final fight. Tom out

Outstanding

So you're a fan and have read all 4 books you don't really need to be encouraged to buy this book. But will say it's still going strong if not stronger. Well done Dean.
