The Ellison Effect is a passionate psychological depiction and defense of the world's last remaining legend. Avra Amar Filion has earned the reputation of being a portrait writer with this controversial portrayal of Lawrence Joseph Ellison. Bringing light to one of the most complex personalities to walk on this earth and presenting him, as she described "A Self-Made Perfection." Speaking out on the injustice, and wrongful persecution and the media created image of Larry Ellison. She unfolds bit by bit his inner-self and for the first time we are able to see through her depiction, her eyes the man everyone so carelessly over-looked and wrongfully attacked. She washed away the graffiti that other authors and bold accusers painted over the father of technology. Being a lecturer she speaks her opinions with integrity and straight-forwardness to defend and stand for a man she respects, and on a personal level she built the foundation for all the rest of us to see the Self-Standing Architecture that is Larry Ellison.
This book is truly life changing, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down! The way she writes just draws your entire attention, I read so many books and I have never read anything like this before! This author changes the way you see yourself, others, and the world around you! You don't only feel her compassion but you feel her passion for every word she wrote. I can say this, anyone who reads this book will feel such sorrow and respect for Lary Ellison, you don't expect the things she says and she just put Larry in a whole NEW category! I could describe the book and quote her but it's so deep that you can't spoil the book. If more women understood men the way she does there would be no such thing as divorce. There are some mistakes with spelling and grammar but you don't even notice because of the importance of she is actually saying. Larry won the American Cup but this book is truly his trophy, the only person who has ever said good things about him and defended him and you know she means every word she wrote. To all you book-worms this is one book you need to read!
i was blown away by this book. The way she defends Larry Ellison literally you cannot believe and she does it in a way that you believe every word she wrote and every time you read some thing new about him that is bad, her words come to mind and you justify Larry. She is an amazing writer. There is so much to learn in this book. My favourite thing is "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" she really meant the Hunchback animal activist of Malibu. Seriously though this isn't a one time read there is tooo much double meanings and philosophy that i am already reading it again.
I personally really enjoyed this book. People may not like Larry and say "What a joke", but its clear the author isn't trying to convince people, rather she is stating facts based on psychology and bone structure, which I found extremely interesting. I got a better understanding about Larry, business, and life. Its worth reading.
