This is definitely the scariest of this series so far. House of Horrors? Waxworks? Abandoned ghost town? This genuinely had me scared at points. I think Dan Smith is doing a brilliant job writing scary stories for a younger audience! I wouldn’t put this any younger than Y6 I think - it’s quite scary!

The Night House Files series of which this is no. 3 is spooky, scary and they are all great reads that will keep you awake at night.
