Since her groundbreaking debut with the bestselling milk and honey, Rupi Kaur’s poetry has become a source of comfort, empowerment, and emotional truth for millions around the world. Now, for the first time ever, her most cherished reflections on love are together in one place!
Love Poems by Rupi Kaur is a curated collection of love poems from Kaur’s acclaimed body of work, including poems from milk and honey, the sun and her flowers, and home body, along with an all-new introduction and shareable Valentine's--and Galentine's!-- Day post cards. A breakout literary phenomenon and #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, Rupi Kaur wrote, illustrated, and self-published her first poetry collection, 'milk and honey' in 2014. Next came its artistic siblings 'the sun and her flowers' and ‘home body’, both debuting at #1 on bestseller lists across the world. These collections have sold more than 11 million copies and have been translated into over 43 languages. Most recently in 2022- she released her 4th book ‘Healing Through Words’ which is a journey of guided writing exercises to help the reader explore their creativity.
As she has done from the very beginning, Rupi self-produced ‘Rupi Kaur Live’, the first poetry special of its kind, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video in 2021.
Rupi Kaur graces stages across the globe on sold-out world tours. These shows are a poetic theatrical experience interlaced with her own touch of stand-up. Her work touches on love, loss, trauma, healing, femininity, and migration. She feels most at home when creating art, performing her poetry onstage, and spending time with family and friends.
"what is stonger than the human heart which shatters over and over and still lives"
This book is aesthetically very pleasing, beautiful artwork and colors, even stickers are included in the back. Really gorgeous. The poems however lacked depth and generally fell flat since some poems were one liners, that conveyed rarely anything unique or a new perspective. Most of the time it was just a single sentence on a two page spread.
“It was as though Someone had slid ice cubes Down the back of my shirt -orgasm”
This would be a great line in a romance novel, but as a poem it’s not working. That goes for quite a few of the poems. There were however some longer poems that I did enjoy and that were really good. I wish she would full poems more than those one liners, but the latter made her famous, so probably not.
From an artistic standpoint, this book was visually appealing. I enjoyed the artwork and the extras included. However, from a writing standpoint, I was disappointed that this was all poems from her other books. I’ve read her earlier works so nothing was new to me. I would’ve enjoyed new material. The anniversary editions and collections of old works aren’t for me.
Beautiful collection. Every time I read Kaur’s poetry, new lines stand out to me. I loved how all of these poems fit together, and the illustrations are a nice touch.
This one is difficult for me to rate. Visually, it’s stunning, and I love the concept. I was disappointed that there wasn’t any new content, it’s all poems previously published in her other books, but I did know that going in. Unfortunately, I feel like many of them don’t have the same emotional impact when the context of the original stories is removed. I loved how the first three books took us on cohesive journeys, but this felt a little more disjointed. It’s till a lovely collection of poetry though, and the full color stretches were a really fun addition. I never have any regrets buying or reading anything by Rupi Kaur, and this is no exception. But I do still long for new poetry from her.
I saw this in barns and Nobel and I read it in one sitting. I didn’t even know it wasn’t officially released yet, but I found it in the store, so maybe they had pre released copies? I loved it, I recognized some of the poems from when I saw her on tour
A great collection. I misunderstood that this was fully a collection of already published love poems - I was hoping for some new work! I loved the illustrations in this, and look forward to giving out the valentines cards ❣️
I enjoyed this book but I was sad it wasn’t anything new. This is a collection of all his love poems from all his other poetry books. Great idea esp for Valentine’s Day coming up but I really wanted new poems. Still a great read because I love his writing!
Reflecting on experiences reading poetry, I felt this might’ve need a little more. I felt in some pages were structured in a short story style.
I’ve felt the depths of love and the painful aspects too which we all do. I want to feel the emotions as I’m reading and moved by the depth of writing.

I just love Rupi Kaur. Everything about this was beautiful. Between the poems and her art work, there’s nothing I love more. 10/10 beautiful collection.
cute little poetry read ahead of valentine's day. love reading Rupi's work. however the pictures make me second guess reading in public because i don't like people looking over my shoulder 😂
I knew this was a collection of her previous work before buying it (a lot of people's issue) and I think it was really beautiful along with the illustrations.
