I thought I was happy in my quiet little bubble. Numbers made sense. Data analytics were safe. Predictable.
Then Titan and Daniel crashed into my life. Two fierce first responders who look at me like I’m their whole world—and treat my service dog like he’s theirs too.
Now my safe bubble is gone, replaced by late-night laughter, stolen kisses, and a fire in my heart I never knew I was missing.
But falling this hard, this fast? It’s terrifying.
Can I trust them to catch me… or am I setting myself up for heartbreak?
I'm a big fan of Daddy Dom/little girl dynamics so the premise of this book, along with the fact Camryn has fibromyalgia made this feel like a Sabrina Bloom book and I love her. While the beginning sucked me in, I began to find more and more mistakes. not spelling or grammar, but misattributed quotes, instances where it was clear events had been rearranged but not all mentions were fixed. In one case, Titan recalls something that happened to him "yesterday", except it was a few days prior and it had happened to Danny. Or it mentioned Camryn sitting at the counter watching both guys in the kitchen, then Danny says he moves into the kitchen for the first time. Or Camryn knows something but then doesn't know it in the next sentence. Honestly, I probably only noticed it all because I read it all at once but it piled up. It was a good book, very sweet and full of green-flag characters, but it needs a thorough edit.
Her Fierce Guardians drew me in immediately with its gentle emotion, slow building trust, and irresistible character dynamics. I loved stepping into the heroine’s quiet, ordered world and watching it shift as Titan and Daniel crashed into her life with all their intensity, warmth, and fierce devotion. The contrast between her safe routines and their passionate, protective energy made every moment feel tender and deeply personal.
The heroine’s love of numbers and data is such a relatable foundation, especially when you see how much she depends on predictability to feel grounded. Watching her slowly step out of that bubble felt vulnerable in the best way. The connection with Titan and Daniel grows at the perfect pace, marked by late night conversations and soft moments that feel intimate without ever being rushed. Their treatment of her service dog completely melted me. Every scene with him added so much heart and showed how genuine their affection really is.
The chemistry between the three is undeniable. You can feel the shift from curiosity to attraction to something far deeper, and it makes the stolen kisses and lingering touches feel earned. I loved how they supported her without overwhelming her, letting her open up on her own terms while still being steady enough to lean on. The emotional tension around trust and fear of falling too fast added a beautiful layer to the story, making her journey feel real and meaningful.
If anything, I wanted just a little more time exploring the trio’s deeper emotional foundation, especially as the heroine wrestles with her fear of heartbreak. A few extra chapters to sit with those feelings would have made the story even more powerful. Still, the warmth, the soft slow burn, and the growing sense of found family shine brightly throughout.
Overall, Her Fierce Guardians is an engaging, comforting read filled with protective heroes, heartfelt moments, and a heroine learning to believe in love again. It is sweet, emotional, and beautifully uplifting. A lovely story worth diving into.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’ll start by saying this: I wasn’t aware this story leaned heavily into DDLG/BDSM dynamics, which isn’t usually my thing. The blurb sets it up as “two protective men and a nerdy heroine,” but the book is definitely more about Daddy Doms and their Little than the description suggests. That said? I was surprised by how much I genuinely enjoyed the journey once I adjusted my expectations.
Camryn is an incredibly easy heroine to root for smart, sweet, quietly insecure, and deeply relatable. She’s recovering from a failed marriage, living with an invisible illness, and doing her best to navigate good days, bad days, and everything in between with the help of her loyal service dog. That representation alone added so much heart.
The moment Titan calls her babygirl during a call, something shifts for her and once she meets him (and Danny!) in person, the chemistry is instant, warm, and utterly impossible to ignore. Their triad forms quickly but naturally, with a sweetness and protectiveness that makes you melt. And the steam? Oh, it delivers.
There are so many fun touches here: 💗 a matchmaking best friend who means well (and is hilarious) 💗 a devoted service animal who steals scenes 💗 first responders with soft hearts and fierce loyalty 💗 a heroine rediscovering love, trust, and the joy of being cared for
And when Camryn’s past comes back swinging literally, with a violent break in that destroys her home Titan and Danny step up with every ounce of strength and devotion they have. The final stretch of the story gets surprisingly tense, but watching this little family fight through it only makes their bond feel stronger.
By the end, I wasn’t just rooting for Camryn, Titan, and Danny I wanted more of them. And now I’m officially counting down to Sofia’s story.
📌 Voluntary review. No compensation just one reader who unexpectedly and wholeheartedly enjoyed this book.
Camryn lives in a sheltered environment, keen on staying in her routines, especially while she deals with the blow of a failed marriage and her illness. Then Titan and Daniel come into her life and flip it all around. They're daddy doms looking for their little, and they found it in Camryn.
This was a super sweet and spicy story and you fall in love with the characters so quickly. Camryn deals with fibromyalgia, and has a service dog, Alastor as a faithful companion. She's a nerdy girl who loves data and numbers and finds comfort in them. Then you have Titan and Daniel who are looking to finding a little to share, which they find very quickly with Camryn. It was a perfect mix of spice and sweet with this trio and made the book fly by.
The main issue I had is the way the blurb made the story sound. It was sold as two protective guys and a nerdy FMC, but this was much more on the kinkier side of things, making it more of "two daddy doms looking for a little to share". Nothing wrong with that, but it was a little misleading in where the kinks lied in this story.
First off, I can relate to Camryn way more than the average reader. Being a fibro patient myself, I feel her struggles to my very core. She was very well described and the struggles and personality believable to a T.
Titan and Daniel was a whole other story for me. I have very little experience with veterans. But I felt their inner struggles was very well portrayed and believable. Also, their drive to serve and protect fits their military careers. Their post retirement jobs reflect it as well.
Their whole dynamic screamed with resonans in me. How they cared for each other, not just them for her. They balance each other out, while truly fulfilling needs with each other. It was absolutely beautiful.
The bad guy made a lot of sense to me as well. I loved the end and I'm looking forward to more in this series.
This is a stand alone with an HEA. There are hints to more S.A. to come in the series and I'm ready for those. A wonderful poly story. Even with all the angst from outside the group, I felt it as a wholesome and feel good read. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful series opener and I loved seeing Camryn get her HEA. She's divorced and living with fibromyalgia and her service dog, Alastor; keeping to her work from home job and not much else. When she talks to her bestie's brother, Titan, and he calls her babygirl, well, all bets are off ;P Titan and his brother of choice, Daniel, are into the DDlg lifestyle and are looking for a their perfect girl. They've been burned in the past so they're cautious, except Camryn blows through their walls pretty quickly. I loved seeing this sweet and spicy romance unfold. It's consent heavy, which I love. Of course, it's not all simple to get that HEA, they have drama, danger and suspense to go through when they find that Camryn has a stalker. Expect to inhale this story when you crack it open. It's lite on the lifestyle but not on plot - and she sure loves to be cared for in such a devoted way. I would, too ;P I loved it and can't wait for the next book :D
*Menage (MFM) *Contemporary *Multi-1st-PoV *Chronically Ill FMC *First Responders *Best Friend MMCs *Insta Lust/Love *Dd/Lg focus *Mid Burn *Standalone A fair story that might be a winner for someone else 😃 Camryn is our FMC, she’s data technician who loves her job, yet suffers from Fibromyalgia 😢 luckily she has an amazing service dog who keeps her going! Yet after a failed marriage she wants someone to nurture her true needs …. Thankfully her best friend’s brother and his bestie are smitten at first sight and know she’s their one! Titan and Danny just want to care for their girl and give her the chance to be who she really wants to be and love herself again 🥰 there is some outside drama with her past coming back and there’s definitely some tense moments to add to the drama 👍 I just personally found it just didn’t grip me to race to read it/find out what’s going on; needed a little more depth in their connection for me. But like I say may be a great read for someone else 😄
Her Fierce Guardians is a contemporary romance built on trust and a Dom/sub dynamic.
Camryn has built her life around order, numbers, and predictability. Routines kept her safe, her service dog Alastor kept her grounded, and nothing ever slipped beyond her carefully drawn lines. Until Titan and Daniel walked in.
Two first responders with fierce hearts and protective instincts, they see past her walls and refuse to let her hide. Their laughter, devotion, and intensity pull her into a world where passion burns fast and trust feels terrifying.
Camryn can’t fight the pull toward both men—and when she finally gives in, it’s a beautiful unravel
Tropes • Protective heroes • Found family (including her service dog) • First responder romance • Fast‑burn intensity • MFM poly romance
Trigger Warnings • Emotional vulnerability and fear of heartbreak • Protective dynamics with alpha‑style heroes • Rapid escalation of intimacy
This book follows Camryn, a data analyst who lives a quiet, carefully structured life after a difficult marriage and while managing an invisible illness. Her world shifts when she meets Titan and Daniel, two first responders whose protectiveness and care slowly draw her out of her comfort zone. Camryn is a gentle, relatable heroine, smart, kind, and easy to root for. Titan and Daniel are devoted, steady, and fiercely loyal, creating a relationship that feels warm, supportive, and emotionally grounding. Their bond develops quickly but is filled with genuine connection, tenderness, and passion. The story balances sweetness, steam, and emotional moments, with added tension when Camryn’s past resurfaces and threatens her sense of safety. The inclusion of her service dog adds extra heart and depth to the story. Overall, this was an engaging and comforting read with strong character connections.
This is about Camryn. She lives in a little bubble so to speak. She works and keeps to herself to a certain extent. A failed bad marriage can do that to anyone. She is dealing with fibromyalgia and has a service dog that helps her when she most needs it. She doesn't think anyone will love her for her. One day her best friend invites her to dinner to try and match her up with her brother. Camryn meets Titan and Danny. And things go from there. They teach her about love. That she is theirs to protect and love. Even when her past comes back to haunt her they immediately are there for her. This is so heartwarming to see. I can honestly say this book pulled at my heartstrings. It definitely was emotional in spots. Having fibromyalgia myself I can relate to Camryn's story. I absolutely loved their story and am looking forward to what's next.
L.D have written such Amazing book i loved her book her fierce guardians. I love following fmc in her journey and i loved to read her growth as a character…. I highly recommed that people read her book her fierce guardians.. and if you haven’t read this book yet Then What are you waiting for you are really missing out on something…. her fierce guardians is such a good book
I found this to be a really enjoyable read! I thought Camryn was really well done. A FMC with a chronic illness isnt something ive personally read too much of and I thought the authour did a solid job portraying her illness . Add the two men who fall for her and wow what a good read. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamics between these three and thought the DD/LG aspect was also well done and incorporated into the story as a whole really well. While there definitely was drama and suspense in this one, I was also a bit of a cozy fun read for me! Two men who treat such an awesome woman well and would literally do anything for her? Her service dog?! Small town vibe romance? HEA with the chance of seeing more of them in future books?! That ticks a lot of boxes for me, oh and we can’t forget the spice!!! Overall really great read , well written with a solid plot. I am excited for more!
I hadn’t realized when started out that this was a DDLG book, so I was a little out of my ballpark with this book, since that’s not quite my thing. That aside, it was still a pretty great book. The characters were relatable, the writing was fantastic, and the drama kept you hanging on the edge of your seat. Also, even with the realistically scary drama that happens, it still had a pretty cozy feel to it. I loved the protectiveness and attentiveness from Titan and Danny. The care they showed even just by making sure Camryn took her meds was heartwarming. Alastor however was my favorite. His name being a nod to Hazbin Hotel had me internally screaming. I loved it. And he’s the biggest hero of the book in my opinion. Having Camryn’s back at every single stage, but also other people’s as well. He is truly the best boy.
Camryn lives in a small bubble, working and keeping to herself to a certain extent. A failed marriage can do that to anyone, and she’s currently dealing with fibromyalgia. Her service dog is her lifeline, and she doesn’t believe anyone will love her for who she is.
One day, her best friend invites her to dinner, hoping to match her up with her brother. There, she meets Titan and Danny, and their lives intertwine. They teach her about love, showing her that she belongs to them and is meant to be protected and loved. Even when her past comes back to haunt her, they are immediately there for her, providing unwavering support.
This heartwarming story truly touched my heartstrings. It was emotionally charged at times, I found myself deeply connected to Camryn’s journey. I absolutely loved their story and can’t wait to see what happens next.
Camryn is on her own and suffering with her own physical struggles and her own mental battles. She's stuck in the mindset that no one could ever love her based on her own failings until Titan and Daniel blaze into her life.
DDLG is not my cup of tea normally, but this one didn't hit me over the head with the vibe of their particular relationship. They prove that that the right relationship is out there for everyone and that the right partner/partners can heal whatever ails you in their own way. Their relationship was beautiful and well thought through. I felt like the characters could use a little more rounding and depth, but not in a way that makes the book feel any less real. I enjoyed the friendship between the main male characters and the growth of the relationship between them and Camryn.
Our MFC, Camryn, has lived a pretty sheltered life. lives in a sheltered environment, keen on staying in her routines, especially while she deals with the blow of a failed marriage and her illness.
Titan and Daniel are looking for that special someone to care for and dote on together. Camryn needs someone to help her through her condition (fibromyalgia) and to love her and encourage her because of her past. They get set up by someone they all know – now maybe they all found their forever. ❤️
Titan and Daniel are thoughtful and kind as Camryn comes out of her shell. She blooms under their nurturing into a stronger, healthier woman ❤️. She brings out the best in her daddies as well.
This series focuses on DD/LG. In this case, I would consider it a light version of the genre and I am so here for it. I also love the disability representation of fibromyalgia, which is done so well. There's so much yumminess here!
Titan, Daniel, and Camryn have a rent free, beautiful spot in my mind. ❤️
Feeling small and uncertain in her everyday life, Camryn has focused on her job and somewhat managing her fibromyalgia. One phone conversation and dinner at her best friend’s changes everything.
Titan and Danny have known for a long time the romantic dynamic they wanted in their life. Meeting Camryn solidified that feeling. They’d finally found their baby girl to pour all their heart, soul, and energy into.
This was such a sweet read! Watching this relationship develop, seeing the personal struggles each had and the trust given to work through and accommodate them was so touching. The dynamic isn’t like most other dd/lg books I’ve read, but it works. The action and climax were nowhere on my radar of possibilities, but that meant I didn’t have it figured out halfway through!
A really good read. This was a DD LG read where two daddies are looking for their little. This isn’t normally my kind of read however I really enjoyed it. Our FMC Camryn works doing data, she does this from home with her service dog due to her having fibromyalgia. Her bestie wants her to meet her brother Titan and passes him over when she’s on the phone, when they are speaking he calls her baby girl and she reacts. Titan then knows that she’s the one, and speaks to his best friend Danny! They are a duo who want the same girl and are struggling to find the perfect one! So when they both meet her they know she’s theirs and she feels it too. Honestly this was a good read and I’m hoping we get a book for her bestie Sofia!
This author is an auto read author for me and was excited to see a new book from this author as I enjoy the writing from this author as she is able to tell a heartwarming story that will. leave a lasting impact. The heroine in this one has her issues which don't hold her back . I love how the heroes where instantly protective of her and willing to protect from the moment they met. It showed the chemistry without having to tell us that these characters were going to end up together. This is on the tamer side of the little/ daddy relationship and is nice introduce to those who want to explore this niche relationship. I love how their relationship worked and they did not treat her different because they made their wants and needs work. I can't wait for the next instalment.
Absolutely loved this! I loved Camryn, and how she wasn't overly *too* much of a Little for me, but the perfect amount! Usually not my scene, but it was soooo well done, I fell in love with it. Daddies Titan and Daniel were also so swoon worthy, and I loved the besties that share vibe, with their different personalities complementing each other. Also loved Camryn's service dog, and the portrayal of more hidden disabilities/illnesses. Definitely sweet and spicy, heavy on the consent which is wonderful. My favorite part is how the Daddies went out of their way to make Camryn AND Alastor comfortable for their first date, and made some personal touches that made all the difference. Such a wonderful read.
This book has just the right amount of fluff and steam!
Camryn, Titan and Daniel are all looking for something to help heal their pasts and they find it in each other. It's unconventional, but it's sweet and works for them.
The three leads, four if you count Alastor the dog, work well together and all feel like people I'd happily be friends with. The bad guy seems to come out of nowhere, but that makes sense narratively, and I do like it when it's external conflict they need to deal with together rather than fighting within the relationship.
Overall, I loved this, and there's a decent det up for a follow up, looking at a different trio - and I really want to see how that goes, too!
Her Fierce Guardians is the perfect mix of heat, heart, and healing. Titan and Daniel don’t just crash into her quiet world—they set it on fire. The chemistry is intense from the start, but what really hooked me was how their connection deepens. As the three of them grow closer, every challenge pulls them tighter together until they’re not just lovers—they’re a family. A fiercely loyal unit that leans on each other, lifts each other, and loves without hesitation. The steam is off-the-charts, the devotion is addictive, and the emotional payoff is everything. If you want protective heroes, a vulnerable yet strong heroine, and a relationship that builds into something powerful and unshakeable, this book delivers it all.
This is book 1 in new series First Responder Daddies series by author duo Young and Dawson. A wonderful MFM romance read that is sure to captivate. Our main characters are Camryn, Titan and Danny. Camryn does data analysis and suffers from fibromyalgia. I love her strength. Things are going well, and she enjoys her job...First responders Titan and Danny arrive on the scene and things heat up. Bonus is they love her dog! Then a stalker shows up only to complicate things...I love this book has all the feels, great romance and good humor too. Well written and smooth flowing storyline. A really good romance.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.
Protecting their Babygirl Invisible illness representation, protective doms, hero service animal, triad. A super fun best friend who wants to matchmake you to her brother - absolutely! After Camryn's failed marriage, she's been content to just do her work, and not much else. Some days were good, same days were bad, but her service dog, helped manage her needs. But once she hears Titan call her babygirl on a call, she can't stop thinking about him. And when she meets him and his best friend Danny in person, all bets are off. Even though things are moving fast, not everyone is as happy to see them together.
She has her insecurities, along with her medical issues, which have almost made her isolate herself completely. But work and a close friend keep her connected to the world, which also gives her a gentle push in the right direction. They've been burnt before, but are more than willing to try again for the right person, and she becomes that person before they even meet face to face. They don't even look twice and are willing to give her and her companion everything they need from the start. This family is instant, and even when they have to fight the past it just makes them stronger. A very enjoyable read.
I am a big fan of Lola Dawson. All her characters have a lot of depth. Camryn, a blue haired beauty living with fibromyalgia, is a data genius. Her best friend finally convinces her to have dinner with her family and the instant connection to Titan and Daniel was off the charts. Two daddies looking to share a little, let’s just say fireworks. With a stalker looking to destroy their budding relationship, the three of them have to choose whether to fight or let go. This was a lighter DD/LG/WhyChoose, but had all the love of that type of relationship. Great easy read, can’t wait for the next one.
Her Fierce Guardians is a fast, emotional, and comforting read. Camryn’s insecurities and medical challenges are handled with real care, and the disability representation feels genuine—not pity-driven. Titan and Daniel see her worth instantly, embracing both her and her service dog with unwavering devotion. Their chemistry is intense, their protectiveness is swoon-worthy, and the found-family vibe makes the whole story warm and addictive. It’s a perfect mix of communication, comfort, and spice. If you love protective heroes, MFM romance, and a heroine learning to trust and fall hard, this book will absolutely make your heart happy
What a cute sweet read this was. Picture curled up by the fire place and a cup of hot cocoa in your hand reading this, and yeah it is as relaxing as it sounds.
Camryn is a great female lead that I loved from the start. She is a fibro patient and I felt so much for her struggles. The story is well written with a lovable character. Not to mention my love for Alastor.
Enter Titan and Daniel are first responders and are about to change her life. This is a loving story of finding love that made me happy at the end.
This is a good standalone that I highly recommend. Especially for a feel good read for the holidays.
This is one of those feel good books that still has the spice and twists that keeps you hooked, while causing you to make those deep contented sighs. Camryn has an invisible disability (which gets AMAZING representation in the book) and life is not always easy but with Alister, her amazing service dog, by her side we get to watch as she navigates life's nonsense as she battles towards he happily ever after! This story also has amazing representations of PTSD and panic attacks, so be aware when you go to read this book. I can say from someone with experience in all of the above that the author handles all of the representations with respect and dignity. I absolutely loved this story!
