⭐⭐ My Review
I absolutely loved the realism in this slow burn between Rose and Charlie. This feels like the kind of story you sink into, where the characters feel lived-in, layered, and honest about their healing journeys.
From page one, Rose’s experience had me holding my breath. Her challenges, her growth, and the way she slowly lets light back into her life were written with so much care. Charlie’s healing looked completely different, and I loved how the story explored two very distinct paths toward becoming whole again, and how those paths can still find their way toward each other.
The closed-door romance, the found family warmth, and the focus on simple joys made the emotional moments shine even brighter. It’s gentle, grounded, and meaningful. A romance that feels refreshingly real, showing how two people can build something steady and hopeful together.
