I received this book from a wonderful friend and fellow homeschooling mom. In fact, she contributed one of the letters in the book.

This book obviously has a very targeted audience: moms who are homeschooling or who are considering homeschool for their children.

I'm not going to lie: homeschooling is a hard job. Maybe that's partly my fault, because of how I choose to make our homeschool look. But maybe also it's just hard to be both mom and teacher, especially with 4 different kids at different stages.

But.

It has also been incredibly rewarding. Watching my now-1st grader read, whereas a year ago he mostly only knew the basic sounds of letters. Or seeing my 3rd grader grow into her understanding of multiplication. And maybe my favorite is watching them make the connections as we've explored so much in history.

This book definitely resonated with me several times. The struggles, the fears, the frustrations. But also the feeling of knowing it's the right choice for your family and having those glimpses that help you remember that fact when things get hard. It's a book that says, "Hey! You're not alone! And you've got this!"

Definitely recommend for homeschool moms or any who are considering it.

You get to read about their hardships and most importantly their encouragement. What’s so great is that it is not a book you need to read from start to finish. What’s your struggle or where do you need help? Jump straight to that letter.

This is a must have on any mom’s shelf!
