It is a good book, even if, subjectively speaking, the beginning feels a bit drawn out. The relationship develops slowly and convincingly; however, the circumstances are portrayed somewhat melodramatically, and by the end, I had a "WTF" moment regarding one of the minor characters.
Summer is a true ray of sunshine and is quite smitten with Elizabeth. She serves as a wonderful complement to Elizabeth, who possesses a rather withdrawn and misunderstood personality. I wouldn't describe Elizabeth as an "Ice Queen", even though almost all the other characters view her as such, with some even going so far as to flee from her. The age gap is mentioned, but it immediately becomes irrelevant to the story. The intimate scenes in the middle of the book are quite hot, even if its "only" being acted out.
I hated the character Grace ... such an arrogant diva.
