They know she’s coming. They still won’t survive her…
The Altair Games have begun.
Ancient. Merciless. Designed to test loyalty and punish weakness. Alexandra Prescott didn’t join the Legacy team to win. She joined to tear them apart from the inside, and they know it. But knowing what she’s planning doesn’t mean they can stop her.
With every round, the stakes rise. Power shifts. Tempers fray. And the games aren’t the only thing becoming more dangerous. Bishop Ashbourne is still too close, too sharp, and far too tempting. What once was war between them has twisted into something messier, deeper… and much harder to control.
As secrets surface and revenge threatens to consume her, Alex must decide: how far is she willing to go—and who is she willing to become—when the only rule left is destroy or be destroyed?
3.3 stars. So that ending means I’ll have to read the next book in the series… but once again, this had a disappointing myriad of grammatical errors (as if it hadn’t been edited or proofread at all), a few distracting time jumps, and continued hinting at both magical elements and RH/WC that never came to be. Arrghhh!
The way the words carry and are written are just different than I’ve read before. Everything is poetic in its own right. This book had me kicking and giggling like a school, angry for the characters, rooting for the wrong love interest and crying. How will I wait for the next book?
This is one of the most visceral reactions that a book has ever brought out of me. I am not sure if I am going to be able to recover from the book hangover that this series is going to give me. This feeling is the reason I read books A+ 10/10 one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. I have been changed for good!
I read all 3 of these in 2 days. They consumed my entire life. I honestly wish I never would’ve started this series…because I thought it was fully complete and it wouldn’t leave me with a cliffhanger. 😩 I’m unwell. I need the next book immediately.
