The Games of Madmen by Ker Dukey & K. Webster

The Games of Madmen is a continuation of the V Games series by Ker Dukey and K. Webster. I didn't read the V Games series, so I stepped into this series without any knowledge beforehand. So I really appreciated the introduction of all the main characters and what they went through before the book even started.
The book starts with Zakhar as a young boy. Kids bully him and steal his coat and shoes. He runs home and sees how his parents and brother get brutally murdered. He ends up in an orphanage where he meets his soulmate Rodion. You could instantly feel how tightly the brothers are linked. And from that moment onwards they share absolutely anything.
Things change when they meet Alyona, suddenly their duo becomes a holy trinity and they are connected in every single aspect in their lives. But something happens and Alyone is forced to leave the brothers behind to ensure their safety.
Two years pass and the brothers decide to expand their empire to the USA. Alyona left her identity behind and is now called Ally and she is dating Jeremiah. Jeremiah is abusive but Ally stays. A chance meeting brings Alyona and the brothers back together and when something horrible happens they are suddenly thrust back together.
The past is catching up to them and one revelation changes absolutely everything. Their entire foundation must be rebuilt again. But they find comfort in each other's prescese and they find their unity again.
While I really enjoyed reading this book I also felt quite lost. I think I should have read the V Games first before I read this one. Because so many characters popped up that I didn't know and I didn't always understand their connection to the main characters. And I also missed getting to know the main characters in the previous books. We see small snippets of the past. But mostly things are settled and I wish I knew how they got to that point. So my advice would really be not to skip the V Games and read this one after that series.
But overall it was a real fun, fast paced and exciting book. I loved the brother's connection the most. They truly felt like two halves of one heart. I know Alyona belongs with them. But I felt the brother's bond shine even brighter than their trinity bond.

Estaba por releer THE V GAMES pensando que no iba a recordar a los personajes de este libro, pero no fue necesario, mi memoria no me falló 😅 (asombrosamente)
Llevaba mucho tiempo esperando a los locos de Moscú y valió totalmente la espera.
Este libro tiene un grado de dark medio, con unas escenas muy cachondas 🔥 y una trama que me mantuvo atrapada desde que empecé hasta la última página.
No solo conocerán el lado oscuro de Rodion y Zahkar, también conocerán su parte humana, que increíblemente la tienen.
Yo les recomiendo que lean primero la serie the V games para que puedan comprender mejor la relación de algunos personajes secundarios con Alyona, Zahkar y Rodion.
Solo me queda decirles:
Disfruten este maravilloso mafia dark romance, MMF. 😈🥵🔥

Known as the ruthless Madmen of Moscow, Rodion and Zahkar Vetrov's reputation preceded them even as they started a new venture in the United States. Being in a different country didn’t mean they were safe from harm, especially in matters of the heart when Alyona Voskoboynikov came back into their lives.
In The V Games series, Rodion and Zahkar were known for being evil and unhinged, and this book showed more of their human sides. While I liked seeing their vulnerabilities, I did feel their dark side was too toned down. I loved their bond and I had a soft spot for Alyona had no problem standing on her own. She was a good match for them with her own grim determination.
Nothing this pure can be wrong. Even if we’re broken, I don’t want to mend. Our shared history is steeped in blood and darkness, and our lives were intricately woven together by scars and sorrow.
I appreciated the appearances and mentions of characters from the original series, however it was also the reason I felt lost at times because there were so many characters and backstories to connect. I liked when the story focused on the main characters and what they would do for each other.
The Games of Madmen is a story of perseverance and protecting interests. It would appeal to readers who enjoy a dark mafia romance.
NOTE:
While this book is a standalone, I suggest reading The V Games series first to understand the references and the dynamics between the characters.

They trained a woman Alyona for The Game (kinda like a Hunger Games situation) but ended up rescuing her out of it because… Alyona belongs to them. The feel it. They know it.
Here’s the thing. The man that put her in the game in the first place is pissed. And puts a hit out on her.
Barely escaping with her life, she knows she needs to make the hardest decision and run and hide. And that means leaving the twins behind for good. To protect them. The only men she’s ever loved.
Some years go by, and the three end up within the same club together….

Cin 28 y a días de los Juegos V, ve con Rodion el último entrenamiento de Alyona, la chica q robó sus❤️, puede q se desate la guerra pero entrarán a los Juegos y la sacarán rompiendo las reglas, los Vasiliev la obligan a jugar por las deudas de su familia pero no quieren💵sino poder y mantener su reputación. Rodion y Z se infiltran y☠️al Carnicero q la ha atado a una mesa, la secuestran y una Alyona drogada les dice q no pueden retenerla pero pueden y lo harán, habrá mucho sexo porq son locos y ella es su recompensa. 2 días de descanso en su apto privado y mucho sexo, Ven📞a Rodion para decirle q Vlad no le permitirá volver a entrenar a un luchador y q Yuri es implacable si se siente ofendido, pero Rodion dice q no trabaja para los Vasiliev y es discutible porq ni él ni Z han hecho nada. Alyona pregunta por q fueron por ella y si Vas lo sabía? Rodion le dice q Yuri la☠️, no permitiría q lo de Diana se repitiera, envió a alguien para☠️. Ella tiene herido el ego porq piensa q no confiaban en q podía lograrlo, pero no puede ser solo sexo lo q los impulsó a rescatarla y Rodion le dice q ella es suya y de Z, los 3 lo saben pero ambos quedan🤤😴. Aylona escucha ruidos y se consigue con el💀de la criada y con Alexsey q pretende☠️a los 3, siempre vendrán por ella. Los ama y por eso debe dejarlos y hacer como si los abandona para q el odio les impida buscarla y para escapar solo cuenta con una persona: Diana.
2 años después, Alyona está en el Club Vibe🇺🇲, ve a una chica q parece una monja y la deja estar allí pensando q ni siquiera tiene 21, tiene de novio a Jeremíah Cunningham pero el tipo es💰, influyente y mujeriego, alardea ante su hermano Adam, no lo ama pero la ha mantenido con vida, está allí con Vika y es el sitio de Viktor, allí terminan todos los exiliados de🇳🇱. Ahora Vika es Amelia Underwood, prometida de Maddox Whitmore, ex amante de Viktor, suficiente como para q Vika fuera tras él y es por eso q no están en el Club The Vault, Viktor no puede verla. Amelia le dice q pare el espectáculo de Jeremíah y tiene razón, debe hacer el papel de celosa q a él tanto le gusta, quita a la chica de su regazo pero le llevan a la mesa por cortesía el Vodka🌈propiedad de los Madmen de Moscú, han comprado el Club Vibe, en crisis Vika la lleva al🚽, no le cuenta la verdad porq una vez traicionó a los Volkov, puede hacer lo mismo con ella, en cambio va a Viktor a buscar información, pensar en ellos duele pero verlos será su💀, pide a Amelia q le diga a Jeremíah q se fue a🏡. Viktor siempre intenta tentarla a caer en sus brazos, solo se permite decirle q los gemelos la entrenaron y la sacaron de los Juegos, eso se paga con la💀, así q sabe q huyó por Yuri, no lo llama padre, ellos no pueden saber q está allí y por parte de Viktor no lo sabrán, Jeremíah revienta su📱y no la consigue en🏡. Los gemelos llegan y Zahkar tiene una premonición, su instinto lo alerta de algo q aún no sabe. Van a The Vault y se la consiguen de frente, ver el odio en Rodion y la pena en Zahkar💔pero no la estaban buscando y eso destroza su alma, pasan de ella. Al llegar a🏡, Adam junto a la monja, pica a Jeremíah diciendo q seguro Ally (Alyona) estaba con otro, Jeremíah hace q se lo chupe y se va, Adm la ataca y le muerde el muslo, podría violarla porq ella le pide con cada movimiento q se la folle, ella sigue caminando porq Jeremíah quiere💍con ella y ama a su hermano, Alyona hace fuerzas para no☠️a todos, Adam le jura q follará a l a monja pensando en ella. La mujer q ve en el🪞ya no es alguien a quien reconoce pero tiene mucho en juego. Rodion y Zahkar quiere emular su Klub en🇺🇲, zona Vip, peleas y depravación solo para miembros y el club a todo público arriba, harán lo mismo con The Vault, ver a Alyona le trae el recuerdo a Rodion de como despertó viendo histérico a Z y leyendo la📝de Alyona: no puedo vivir esta vida, empezaré de cero, no me busquen, no quiero q me encuentren. Rodion le dice q nada ha cambiado, deben ignorarla porq solo fue una put* q follaron, saben q es mentira y Zahkar si la buscó a espaldas de Rodion, nada dió resultado. En el Club Vibe, Z ve a Alyona y observa su ojo y cuello con moretones q el makeup no cubre, la sigue a su mesa y Adam de antemano sabe quien es él, les deja saber q conoce a Ally. Cuando está pasa junto a su mesa, la enjaulan en ella, saben q sus marcas son de dolor, de castigo y ella solo dice q tuvo q abandonarlos porq su vida se los comería vivos, no le entienden pero están lejos de terminar. En🏡Jeremíah la enfrenta, le pregunta si se folló a los gemelos, Además piensa q si y Alyona😡, pero ste la amenaza con un arma y le dice q los☠️a todos antes de verla con otro. Despierta bañanada en🩸, Jeremíah está💀, la monja lo ha matado🗡️. Está contratada por Yuri quien paranoico hizo seguir a los gemelos y ella se encontró con la sorpresa de Alyona. ☠️a Jeremíah por hacerla chuparlo delante de ella, una humillación innecesaria, Yuri aún no sabe de Alyona pero lo toma personal, ya q su tío hacia el trabajo sucio de Yuri y ella y los gemelos lo☠️, es hora de retribución. Pregunta por la chica q estaba en la habitación vacía pero nunca la encontrará y pelean, tiene el arma de Jeremíah pero Alyona logra quitársela y lanzarla a🛁. Logra🗡️. Va a The Vault y Viktor no contesta, Z le había dado unas cerillas de su🏨y📞, le dice a Rodion q Yuri envió a☠️y van por ella. Cuando llegan la ven ensangrentada, ida y no dice mucho pero ntra en pánico cuando dice q Adam no le creerá y se la quitará, les pide ayuda. De vuelta a🏡Rodion estudia la pelea, deben🪡la herida en su abdomen y se fijan q tiene una cicatriz plateada sobre la línea del bikini, luego hablarán de eso. Acuerdan q dirá q peleó con él y nunca regreso a🏡, meterán a ambos en el🚗lo despeñarán por un barranco y🔥, total ella estaba en el Club. Alyona les dice q fue a espiarlos y ellos juran q Yuri pagará pero él nunca paga.
Ellos quieren q se explique, ella dice q los elegiría por encima de todo pero la elección es algo con lo q no cuenta. Ella se disculpa por hacerles daños pero Rodion se burla, no lo hirió, él y Z siempre han sido suficientes y ella solo fue un complemento por un⏱️, no es q no podía irse fue la forma y no le permitirá hacerle eso a Z de nuevo. Z hace lejía especial para degradar la🩸, Rodion está😡,visten a Jeremíah pero Rodion llama a Z y dan con el cuarto de una bebé, le preguntan, la niña está con la madre de Jeremíah y volverá en unas horas, se llama Roza. Rodion la confronta, primero permite q le peguen y luego le da un hijo pero ella grita q él le dió protección en un momento vulnerable y q él no sabe lo q es no tener opciones, dejarlo todo para proteger a quienes quieres y luego descubrir q serás madre. Z sabe q es de ellos al igual q Rodion q no quiere creerlo, pero ella lo confirma. No podía permitir q lo supieran porq Yuri lo sabría, pagaría el precio de no estar con ellos para protegerla, no permitiría q Yuri se vengara en Roza. No le hablan solo lo necesario,📞a Adam q va para allá y los gemelos pondrán a la monja en su🚗, Jeremíah nunca dudó q Roza era de él, tiene la piel cálida como Jeremíah y los ojos azules de ella o de Z, en realidad al igual q su cabello rizado aunque dorado. Alyona hace una actuación magistral al acompañar sin querer a Adam al accidente y verse abatida y más cuando golpea con su cadera el maletero y grita al ver el💀de la montaña. Los gemelos ven como la🚔se lleva a Adam. Es interrogada, sus moretones se los achaca a Adam y se cree q☠️a ambos. Vika espera fuera con Roza y la lleva a🏡. Al día siguiente recibe una📞de Adam amenazándola y siente su🌎🔥. Ponen órden en el nuevo Club, llega Viktor y hablan de Alyona pero esta📞y la picardía de Viktor pasa a preocupación y toda la ira y decepción de escapa de ellos y salen a buscarla. Rodion le pregunta a Viktor si son algo él y Alyona pero no y eso lo calma. La consiguen desmayada, Z entra con ella🛁para bajar su fiebre, Viktor📞a su medico y al llegar la secan, Rodion toca su cicatriz de la cesárea, es u parte favorita y dice q estuvo a punto de💀pero al tener a Roza en sus brazos ella le dió vida, pide q no la odien por lo q hizo y sería imposible contesta Rodion. La doctora la examina, su herida está infectada pero él detective toca la🚪Rodion le dice q Ally está indispuesta y lo📞, el jefe le debe favores a Viktor. Alyona consigue a Z con Roza quien le ha preparado🍼le dice q lo hirió su partida y q debió confiar q podía lidiar con Yuri, aunque tenga miedo Roza ha nacido en la oscuridad y las sombras pueden rozarla pero no permitirán q le hagan daño. Intenta cargarla pero Rodion se la quita de los brazos y Roza se siente cómoda con ambos. Z le hace prometerle q no huirá y ella acepta pero Levi llega y lo deja inconsciente. Vika aparece con Rodion y dice q la están siguiendo, dan con el🚗y le da la información a Viktor quien busca sus contactos. Vika está más preocupada por su💍q por su seguridad, es Yuri quien ha enviado por ellos. Van a la nueva🏡de los gemelos y Z le dice q instalarán mañana un nuevo sistema de seguridad pero sabe q nunca será suficiente, bastó seguir a su mucama para dar con el apto. Decide☠️a Yuri Vasiliev. Empiezan a😴en la misma🛏️hasta q Alyona deja en un cuarto sola a Roza, su nombre combina el nombre de los gemelos. Rodion le dice q sabe q las circunstancias los pusieron de nuevo juntos y ella contesta q no será para siempre pero él no está de acuerdo, ella debe acostumbrarse q jamás saldrá de sus vidas. En la cura, Z no soporta más al ver cómo Rodion se🚿y empieza un oral a Alyona pero Ro lo impide, en cambio Z entra y Ro lo chupa, no permite q ella se toque y tienen sexo, Z piensa q fue cruel pero Rodion no le perdona el daño q le hizo a Z y tampoco está listo para dejarla entrar, si vuelve a salir jamás se recuperarán. En la cocina se pican pero ella está frustrada y sale, Rodion va detrás y ella le dice q si, es mejor no intimar por mucha tensión sexual q haya, es natural pero pero Roza es mejor no hacerlo, él piensa q puede q ella los use y luego huya y eso la golpea. The Queens of Darkness are back and their latest collaboration does not disappoint!
We’re back in the world of the madmen of Moscow and their twisted games. Rodion and Zackhar are partners in business, brothers in spirit, and lovers of the same woman. Protecting her takes on a whole new meaning as their love interest Alyona has plans of her own.
Edgy, and sexy, I was captivated by this story and how it unfolded from beginning to end. Told in multiple POV, this new installment showed that even the impenetrable madmen can show a different side which made them dare I say softer. But don’t be fooled, even though Alyona showed she’s got tons of grit and she made some plays that brought them to their knees, the madmen are masters of the game!
Will she win the games of the Madmen?
You’ll have to read and find out!
Even though this book can be read a standalone I recommend reading the prior books in the series as it will offer better understanding in the dynamics of these characters. Also, read carefully, there were a lot of characters so at times I felt a little lost.
Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I can’t wait for more!

With this book being a spinoff, certain characters appear and it was good to see Viktor and his newest interest. But there were parts that seemed choppy and it is best to have read the V Games.
With action, a strong female character and the Madmen, this story would appeal to those seeking a dark Russian mafia MMF romance.

I am a massive fan of the author duo, K. Webster and Ker Dukey, both individually and together. In addition, The V Games and The Pretty Little Doll Series are among my favorites, and their recent release, The Games of Madmen, is a spin-off. There is a refresher on the characters that I appreciated, which I think will help those who haven’t read the series, as well as readers like me—it’s been a while since I’ve read the books. At the same time, I believe The Games of Madmen is enjoyable on its own.
The book has all the darkness, suspense, and descriptive gore that Author Ker Dukey brings to the table that I love. And the romance, steamy, hot, detailed spice that K. Webster is known for, which I enjoyed as well, is ever so present. The story carries a consistent vibe from the other series. That intensity is there. Alyona is a spitfire and not one to be messed with. She’s as brutal as the brothers, Zahkar/“Z”, and Rodion/“Ro”. The romance between the three is special, as they work through their past issues and learn how to become a family.
K. Webster and Ker Dukey make a great writing team, and The Games of Madmen demonstrates this. I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it.

Oh, my delicious, wicked darkness!
Alyona, Rodion and Zahkar locked me in a cage and wouldn’t give me the key! And what a wonderful stay it was!
I was a tad disappointed when their story ended, I couldn’t get enough of them. But then, (pause for dramatic effect)…plot twist!! I know I’ll be reading about them in the near future! (No spoilers…read the book!)
Ker Dukey and K Webster have given us a dark romance that will keep you up at night. (In the most spiciest of ways, of course!) There are also very adult themes weaved throughout. This book is not for the faint of heart.

Please note, this book is full of triggers so if you even slightly doubt whether you should read it or not - don't. Just what away, and read something else because this is a book filled with violence, abuse, d3ath, s3x, allllllllll the dark stuff and I absolutely loved it!
If you haven't already, I recommend reading The V Games first - it's not a must but it will make a big difference in understanding the characters and the world they come from.
That's where you'll first meet Zahkar & Rodion, aka The Madmen Of Moscow and they are aptly named!! These two brothers live for violence, for d3ath, for s3x, carnage and each other and in book 3 of The V Games, they're brought in to train Alyona and help her literally survive.
Nothing is ever straightforward with Webster & Dukey and that is where I'll leave my review, it's up to you to find out more!

🔪 I had not read the previous books in this series, so it took me a few chapters to figure out who was who in this world.
🔪 I loved our two MMCs, Zahkar and Rodion. I loved that they were soulmates and that they came as a package deal. And I loved that they were powerful, wealthy, possessive, protective, and unhinged.
🔪 There was deception and secrecy and manipulation that keeps the reader on their toes from start to finish.
🔪 Alyona is a survivor; she is such a strong FMC and will do and say anything she needs to keep herself safe.
🔪 The connection our three MCs have is next-level - they are goals (in a really messed up world).

Dark, decadent, intense, irresistible and scorching hot, this luscious read seized hold fiercely and refused to let go. This MMF romance features Rodion, Zahkar and Alyona's story. I thought that each of these characters was complex and intriguing. Their chemistry was pure fire, and the storyline is simply juicy with a sharp combination of drama, suspense, emotion, twists, steam and action. Yummy naughtiness at its best.

Ahh!! Absolutely devoured this read! This writing duo never disappoints and we definitely get everything we love in this one, including cameos from our favorites!! Although not required, I recommend you read the V Games before this one, and if you want the full effect of Easter eggs and guest appearances you should binge read the dolls series (Hannah will always be my favorite). You’ll be sucked in from page one and ready to binge read everything else all over again once you’re done - a definite must read for fans of dark mafia romance, MMF, MCs and FMCs so obsessed they would burn the world, possessive relationships on both sides, and vengeance!

The Games of Madmen by Ker Dukey and K Webster is a spin-off from The V Games trilogy and The Pretty Little Doll Series. This writing duo certainly know how to deliver a story full of unexpected twists and turns but also intertwine a wonderful romance through all the violence and bloodshed. This is a dark mafia MMF/MM romance between Rodion, Zahkar and Alyona. It is action packed with family secrets, complex relationships, revenge and betrayal, retribution and survival at all costs. If you have read The V Games series, then you will already know about Rodion and Zahkar Vetrov. They are known as the Madmen of Moscow and have a reputation for being ruthless and dangerous.

The book starts twenty years ago with the horrific event that led to Zahkar being adopted and becoming Rodion’s brother. The bond between the boys was instantaneous - soul mates and as they grow up they share absolutely everything. They understand and love each other as their lives are connected by trauma.
It then jumps to when they meet Alyona when Vlad Vasiliev enters her into The Games to pay off her father's debt. She is being trained by Vas but when the twins find out that Yuri Vasiliev has put a bounty on her to be killed during The Games, they help train her to hopefully survive. The three become very close and the men realise they can’t risk her dying while participating so plan to break the rules and rescue her. They go into hiding but one night Alyona has a huge decision to make after a horrendous incident. She loves both men and knows they love her so refuses to let them die for her. They are heart broken when they discover she has left them and have no idea why.
The story then continues two years later and we find out that Alyona is living Arkansas under a new identity. She has a boyfriend but still misses the twins. Zahkar and Rodion run Klub Chernyy and have decided to expand their business into America. Little do they know that things won’t be as easy as they thought, especially when the one person who managed to work her way into their hearts, Alyona Voskoboynikov happens to be there.
The consequences of her actions are revealed and more secrets are uncovered as they slowly fall back into their relationship. Being together has complications as there are obstacles in their way and people out for them. Unexpected problems from back home, revelations and events put pressure on all three.
I really liked all three main characters. My heart went out to Zahkar and all he had been through. Will his past ever be put to rest or will it continue to haunt him. Rodion was so protective of the other two that he was willing to do anything to keep them together. Alyona was so strong, feisty and brave, determined to save those she loves even if it meant she might not survive. They supported each other and their chemistry was hot.
Many characters from The V Games series are in this story or are mentioned so it might be a bit confusing if you haven’t read those books and don’t know the connections and backstory of everyone. I was grateful for the cast of characters refresher at the start.
The story builds with more startling revelations, a great revenge twist, a surprise for the twins and an attack they didn’t see coming. I was so pleased things worked out for the three of them but we are left with a frightening teaser which means their story will continue.

The rescue is chaotic and reckless, but it’s exactly who they are, and once they finally have her to themselves, all the tension that has been simmering between them ignites. The Games of Madmen is a spinoff from the V Games series, and it takes you on a wild, dark ride with my favorite Vetrov brothers. I actually had no idea this was spinoff, so I decided to read the V Games trilogy first and I am really happy I did because this criminal world is complex with a large cast of characters. I definitely think you should read the V Games first to understand the history between the different families and especially for the introduction to Rodion, Zahkar, and Alyona Voskoboynikov.
Alyona was forced to fight in the V Games by Vlad Vasiliev to pay off her father's debt to his family. She was trained by Vas and the infamous Madmen of Moscow, Rodion and Zahkar. She forms a close relationship to the brothers, and they decide to rescue Alyona from the V Games after they fall for her. This puts their lives at risk, especially since Vlad's father, Yuri put a hit out on Alyona during the V Games, and they broke the rules by sneaking her out. Alyona goes on the run to save them from being killed by Yuri's hitmen, leaving them brokenhearted.
The story picks up a couple years later when Rodion and Zahkar finally find her by accident when they open expand their club business to the U.S.
This is an MMF romance, and yes, the MM is together because the brothers are together. Don't worry they are not related, Zakhar is Rodion's adoptive brother. They have a deep and beautiful connection. They were true soul mates, and their bond was special. They usually shared women, but they only loved each other till Alyona stole their hearts. The authors did a great job building the relationship and chemistry between all of them, which can be difficult when writing MMF/Poly romances.
I love all three of these characters and Alyona is a feisty, badass heroine. She was so strong; however, she also had vulnerability. One of my favorite things is a spoiler, but it was something I was mad about from the original trilogy. I wanted resolution with a truly evil character that deserved a violent end, and they left that person alive at the end of the V Games.

I actually had no idea this was spinoff, so I decided to read the V Games trilogy first and I am really happy I did because this criminal world is complex with a large cast of characters. I definitely think you should read the V Games first to understand the history between the different families and especially for the introduction to Rodion, Zahkar, and Alyona Voskoboynikov.
Alyona was forced to fight in the V Games by Vlad Vasiliev to pay off her father's debt to his family. She was trained by Vas and the infamous Madmen of Moscow, Rodion and Zahkar. She forms a close relationship to the brothers, and they decide to rescue Alyona from the V Games after they fall for her. This puts their lives at risk, especially since Vlad's father, Yuri put a hit out on Alyona during the V Games, and they broke the rules by sneaking her out. Alyona goes on the run to save them from being killed by Yuri's hitmen, leaving them brokenhearted.
The story picks up a couple years later when Rodion and Zahkar finally find her by accident when they open expand their club business to the U.S.
This is an MMF romance, and yes, the MM is together because the brothers are together. Don't worry they are not related, Zakhar is Rodion's adoptive brother. They have a deep and beautiful connection. They were true soul mates, and their bond was special. They usually shared women, but they only loved each other till Alyona stole their hearts. The authors did a great job building the relationship and chemistry between all of them, which can be difficult when writing MMF/Poly romances.
I love all three of these characters and Alyona is a feisty, badass heroine. She was so strong; however, she also had vulnerability. One of my favorite things is a spoiler, but it was something I was mad about from the original trilogy. I wanted resolution with a truly evil character that deserved a violent end, and they left that person alive at the end of the V Games.

It was quite beautiful to witness their quiet moments, especially all that they'd done within their brutal world. They had such a unique bond and I loved that they allowed Alyona into it.

Mafia romance is always my jam and I seriously enjoyed this one. These two authors together really know how to draw you into the story and keep you there. This was a MMF romance. Rodion and Zahkar are foster brothers (not blood) and as close as two people can be. Known as the Madmen of Moscow they were ruthless and violent maybe a little unhinged. Rodion and Z relationship is one of the hottest MM stories I have read this year. Not just the spicy bits, but yeah they were hot too, but just the overall way they exist together and the connection they have.
Alyona was my kind of FMC strong, resilient and using what she has to keep her and her secret safe. When it came down to it she didn’t need someone to keep her safe she took care of the problem herself. She was the missing piece between the brothers to complete their relationship.

The twins are back in this glorious dark romance penned by two dynamic authors. While it can be read as a standalone, and there is an introduction to the characters with a bit of a recap, I advise to read The V Games to fully understand the dynamics at play. This is one thoroughly immersive world and fueled with characters that will get under one’s skin. Zahkar was a boy when his parents were taken from him, but he found his other half in Rodion. These two are of one mind and action when it comes to business and love. Alyona is a woman who was the third in a love triangle with the twins, but she was forced to enter the V Games to pay off her father’s debt. Although Alyona was trained to participate, the twins decide to save her from the Games and whisk her away…but Yuri is a man who wants what he wants, and what he wants causes Alyona to flee from the men she loves. Fast forward a few years and the three are accidentally brought back together but things have changed. Can they find their way back and if so, at what cost? Overall, this is one book that you will not be able to put down. The writing is flawless, and anyone will be able to feel the vibes as they permeate the pages. This is one storyline filled with drama, spice, passion and it just may be your next obsession.

The Games of Madmen is a dark, MMF standalone spinoff from The V Games (I LOVED this series!!!) by Ker Dukey and K Webster. It is a deliciously dark and addicting tale of vengeance that keeps you on the edge of your seat! It is not for the faint of heart, but if you love a sizzling hot dark, violent, and twisted romance with over-the-top, jealous/possessive, morally grey heroes, a tough-as-nails heroine, and shocking twists and turns, then this is a must-read! I am addicted!!! I have loved every book written by this dynamic duo, and this book is no different!

I love this pair as a writing duo, and this book was an amazing ride! Rodion and Zackhar were raised together after Zackhar experiences tragedy as a young boy. Their dynamic has them often sharing a lover, but there was never a woman like Alyona before or after her. I enjoyed the flashbacks and learning about their history, and in the present their chemistry was still so very real. She stood no chance against the Madmen once she was in their sights, and I look forward to seeing more of them. I was glad she had a real friend in Viktor and can easily say he’s my favorite secondary character here.

I wanted to... really was inclined to re-read the previous books, but I didn't. And while reading I seriously wondered whether that wouldn't have been better after all??? 🤔
Somehow everything that’s happening in this book leaned heavily on things that happened before. I re-read the refreshing notes at the beginning of the book, several times... hoping to find out who was who. But nope, the notes didn't help me remember things 🥴🤣 lol!
So... sure, I liked this book, but if I had remembered things from the previous books, I'm sure I'd have enjoyed it even more. 😉

Incredible!!!
This book was amazing!!! I absolutely could NOT put it down! I lost sleep because of all of the twists and turns it takes!!! Most of them I didn't even see coming!!! The book has everything! It kept me on the edge of my seat, it has a beautiful love story, it has angst, and humor, and tears, and the love scenes are HOT!!! I wish I could talk more about the story, but I don't want to give anything away!!! I LOVE the Madmen of Moscow!!!! They are perfect, *sigh*!!! I HIGHLY recommend this book!!!

I’m not sure if it’s just been too long since I’ve been back in this world, but I didn’t really enjoy this as much as I’d anticipated? I guess I didn’t expect the Madmen & Alyona’s story to go where it went and also how this book also leads to the next one. I’m still very much interested in the next book, but it just makes me wonder how the already published books (specifically the characters and plot lines) of this series would be affected.

Absolutely stunning venture back in to these games and the madmen that participate and defend them.
This trio is filled with chaos and too much outside influence. They defeat the games in their own way but Yuri will not rest until he pays them back for their breaking of the rules.
It’s been a long time since these characters and games were enjoyed by me. And I look forward to so much more.

This is a fantastic story about obsessive, possessive adoptive brothers Rodion & Zahkar. They are known as the Madmen of Moscow and have both fallen for the same woman, Alyona. After Alyona is forced to become a contestant in the very dangerous and lethal V Games, Rodion and Zakhar come to her rescue. This is such a great story, with romance, spicy scenes, suspense and an exciting plot. This book is set in the same world as the V Games books by the same authors.

This delicious MMF romance has 3 characters who are so hot, I swear on more than one occasion I thought they would burst into flames. I have not read the V Games series, but this is a standalone and I had no issue jumping into this story.
Tense, scrumptious and dark I enjoyed Aloyna, Rodion and Zahkar's interactions together. It is fast paced, plot driven and a story that deals with high stakes. I am hoping for more of this throuple.

Wow! This book is packed. Like they say...No rest for the wicked. Aly certainly doesn't get any rest. But she is not a damsel in distress. This story has lots of action and violence. It's dark, but it's well balanced because those twins are delicious together. They turn the spicy level to sweating temperatures. Loved it! And I also loved how they are all a special kind of bad but unapologetic.

I am still not 100% sure what I just read....it was twisted, it was dark, it was very morally grey and I loved every page! Having not read the V games I appreciated the Cast of Characters refresher at the beginning of the book.
Alyona is trained by the Madmen of Moscow -Rodion & Zahkar to compete. Fearing that Yuri won't let her out alive, they infiltrate the games and take her. The three try to live happily together but Yuri won't stand for that so Alyona flees believing it the best way to protect them. When the Madmen show up at a club they are acquiring, they are more than surprised to find Alyona....
