I enjoyed this story of dark curiosities, holiday drama, and unexpected love. I enjoyed that both Shawn and Enzo had dysfunctional family showing that it was common no matter their wealth. A lot of passion, emotions and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
I enjoyed this story of dark curiosities, holiday drama, and unexpected love. I enjoyed that both Shawn and Enzo had dysfunctional family showing that it was common no matter their wealth. This was an entertaining read with wealthy alpha Shawn convinced to let off some steam by participating in a fake omega auction, unknowingly set up by his friends with omega Enzo, poor, struggling to pay off medical bills for his deceased Papa, still grieving, and looking for an escape into a BDSM fantasy for a weekend. What Enzo gets is a newbie to the BDSM world, one he has to teach how to accept and implement his fantasies, needing to “top from the bottom” with his fledgling Dom. Shawn gets an education from someone who opens his eyes to things he didn’t know he desired, as well as a way to escape himself from family pressures at work and home. Desperate to escape his current situation, Enzo is using this as a trial run to decide if he really wants to sell himself to an unknown alpha as a slave — turns out he would rather keep this alpha for himself. Luckily for Enzo, Shawn feels the same way. The journey isn’t stress or problem free, there are a couple of unexpected glitches along the way, but since this is a romance, it all works out satisfactorily at the end, with Enzo as the catalyst for fixing more than his relationship with Shawn.
I really enjoyed Enzo, he was pretty aware of himself and his needs and failings, but he was also a complex guy with many layers, ones which Shawn helped to peel away. Shawn had his own problems, coming across as confident and capable in business and with Enzo (outside the bedroom), but with another persona within his family dynamic. Enzo gave him the confidence to stand up for himself, his brother, and Enzo when the need arose, growing in the process. I liked watching Shawn realize things about himself as he got more involved with Enzo, and Enzo coaching him through their Dom/sub roles was quite entertaining. Shawn was a quick learner.
I liked the most of the characters in the book (except Enzo’s dad, even Rick grew on me at the end), main and supporting, all seemed realistic and relatable, as did the situations overall. I liked the message that the author addressed through the Christmas Eve dinner for those less fortunate than Shawn’s family, the importance of job training and access to jobs was much more beneficial in the long run to those getting assistance than a meal and some gifts as a one-time show of help.
This is an entertaining series and I look forward to the fourth installment from this author. I enjoy all of her books, no matter the setting or time period, the variety is very satisfying, and all are worth the read in my opinion.

His Gift is the third book in the ‘Omegas After Dark: Omega Auction’ series. It stars Shawn, an Alpha, and Enzo, an omega. This is told in first person from Shawn and Enzo’s pov.
I really enjoyed this story. It’s my favorite of the three books in this series so far. The blurb does a good job explaining the basic premise but I’ll add a bit more. Shawn works for his fathers’ company. Since he’s the Alpha they think he is perfect while his omega brother can’t so anything right. The Alpha father pits the two brothers against each other and the omega brother resents Shawn. The parents also expect Shawn to be upstanding and follow their strict society rules. Shawn is uptight and inhibited, never exploring his true Alpha side. Shawn’s friends at the Dark Fantasies Club suggest Shawn participate in the omega auction. Despite being unsure, he does. There he is paired up with Enzo, an experienced sub.
Enzo had been caring for his papa for years until he passed. Enzo is contemplating selling himself to an omega trafficker so that an Alpha can now look after him. Enzo is very smart, except for this idea which causes problems throughout the book. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to him that an Alpha who bought him wouldn’t really care about him at all, but use him and dump or do worse to him when the Alpha was tired of Enzo. And there would be no way for Enzo to escape. This plot point didn’t work for me, but was necessary to add the conflict to the story. Since the topic of trafficking was more evident in this book, I thought that it might have been brought up with the owners of the Dark Fantasies Club. Maybe it was in a different one of this author’s series, but I got the impression that they were trying to track down omega traffickers.
I loved Shawn. He was a sweet Alpha who really cared about omegas and believed they should be treated equally. He loved his brother and it hurt him when his brother was mean to him. It was hard for him to express his Alpha-ness which was funny when he and Enzo first started with their scene. It was Enzo who had to suggest and lead Shawn into expressing his primitive Alpha instincts. I could believe in Shawn and Enzo as a couple. The author did a good job of creating distinct main and side characters.
His Gift is my favorite book in the series so far. I love kind-hearted, Alpha Shawn. This is a fast read that reads more fluffy than stressful. I recommend this book and give it, 5 Stars

Another FABULOUS book in this fabulous series! There were layers upon layers, tons of found family, a lot of horrible family, fated moments, fated mates, falling in love. There was Christmas magic and believing in humanity again. There was snowflakes and presents of all kinds.
Also, I want more of Walt...he deserves a HEA.. ;)

He gets matched up with omega Enzo, from a totally different social class, who has been struggling with poverty as he tries to take care of his family despite horrendous medical bills incurred by his father's care. Both Shawn and Enzo are putting themselves into new experiences and will have some decisions to make, but it just may work out far better than they had imagined. When they meet at the fake omega auction, it doesn't take long before they realize their instant chemistry. They listen to each other and learn more about themselves as they explore the potential relationship. Where will this lead? Will they find something lasting between them? I am uncomfortable with dom/sub types of stories, but I trust this author after many years of reading her wonderful books, so I took a chance. Shawn & Enzo
"Yep. Family dynamics. They could be as cliché as a greeting card, but that didn't make them any less painful."
The relationship between these two is so incredibly sweet and so steadily loving. It was so much fun to watch them discover each of their needs, and especially watch Shawn uncover his previously unknown Dom mannerisms. The two complimented one another perfectly, and were immediately protective of each other.
I really hated the past we were shown for Enzo, he had FAR too many creeps in his life, but I'm glad to see he and his good friends pulled out of that hard world.
The Omegas After Dark series and anything to do with the Dark Fantasies Club make for some incredible stories. I always love the Alpha/Omega dynamic and mpreg stories, and His Gift was another grand adventure to dive into. I don't know what's on the docket for the next story, but I know it's going to be a lot of fun.

Shawn and Enzo get set up
Yes this is an Omega auction book, but it’s more like two guys being set up on a blind date except kinkier. I am loving this series by MM Farmer and she keeps coming up with fresh ideas to keep things interesting. This book is a perfect example of a fresh idea in that Shawn is a new Dom and doesn’t know what he is doing and Enzo is a very experienced sub who is tired of dealing with things and wants someone to just look after him. The dynamic is a fun one and Ms Farmer uses it to great effect. Shawn’s family is also a big part of the story as is their Christmas Eve charitable supper. Enzo ends up with a job helping them plan it and comes in like a wrecking ball with new ideas from a very different perspective. The whole thing ends up being very sweet and spicy and a whole bunch of fun to read.

A spicy and sweet Christmas treat. I will qualify this by saying that dom/sub is not a sub-genre I generally read. But I am a big fan of MM Farmer so I decided to jump in and give this one a try. I'm glad I did. Shaw is a tightly wound alpha striving to run his family business while trying to get some approval from his parents. He's gently goaded into attending a match making fake omega auction to blow off some steam. Enzo is barely making ends meet and has a dad and brother that only take from him. He craves the release he gets from going deep into sub-space, so he signs up to be fake auctioned to an alpha. Enzo is also using this as a real world test to see if he could sell himself for real. Shawn and Enzo turn out to be a perfect fit. This is a super high heat story right from the get go. It leans pretty heavily into the dom/sub dynamic, but it's on the gentler side which I appreciate. There was also plenty of sweetness to make me happy. I would definitely recommend.

All the books in this series revolve around a fake omega auction hosted by the Dark Fantasies Club. The club owners, Caden and Hamish, pair up couples prior to the auction.

His Gift, Omegas After Dark: Omega Auction book three, by MM Farmer is a fairy-tale, rich alpha-poor omega, insta-love/fated mates story set in the seedy side of Farmer’s omegaverse she explores in the Omegas After Dark, as well as the more lighthearted Bangers & Mash series. Enzo is struggling with medical debt on top of poverty while Shawn is dealing with pressure and family dysfunction (but with a whole heap of wealth and privilege.) The story is definitely erotic romance, but fits the romance category regarding the confidence readers can have that things are all going to work out beautifully in the end. Another page turner enjoyed, I look forward to the next installment.

I've really been enjoying this series! This book is fairly low-angst, low kink, and high heat with a beautiful bonding, forever love, and mpreg. Shawn is a wealthy alpha with a dysfunctional billionaire family who is convinced to participate in a mock omega auction.
Enzo is a poor, grieving omega who is barely getting by after taking care of his now-deceased omega father and inheriting massive medical bills. He decides to indulge in the fake omega auction as an escape to meet his kinkier side. When he is paired with Shawn sparks fly. They just needs to figure out the rest of their lives. Fun story!

I absolutely love mm farmer books. This was such a cute spicy read. I couldn't put it down. I hope we also get Walts book in the future. I really liked his spicy character and I hope that hint hint with dr Braden may be a foretelling of his future alpha, but also would like to know more about the alpha who abandoned him after his heat knowing he was pregnant. I can't wait for more Omega Auction books. I highly recommend if you want a sweet spicy mm mpreg with some angst.

If you love a holiday story, class difference, sexy heats, and family drama this is a great book. Shawn and Enzo are a great couple. They communicate well and work together to help each other deal with family problems. There are sweet times making snowmen and drinking hot chocolate. I love their HEA.

I absolutely loved this story. This was a fast paced story with some absolutely amazing characters and some wonderful world building. This is the third book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. The setting is the same and you might see a few familiar characters but it stands on its own. I can’t wait for more from this series.

Enzo and Shaw are great characters. I loved how both were so vulnerable and allowed the other to teach them about their selves. Wonderful story of love, family sagas, healing, strength, and how to love and support the other with what was needed.

Loved this story. The connection between the two main characters. The growth shown by both. The just right amount of steam. I loved how the family came together in the end. I want to find out what happens with the brother. I hope he gets his happy ending, as well. I highly recommend this book.
