TROPE: Marriage of convenience. Forced proximity.
MAIN CHARACTERS:
1. Cassidy St. James-Shaw, female lead, is the wealthy socialite daughter of a black family whose generations owned business is in financial trouble.
2. Devlin Shaw, male lead, is a billionaire owner and CEO of a multi billionaire enterprise.
3. Owen Shaw is Devlin's nephew and fiancé of Cassidy.
4. Naomi St. James is Cassidy's mother and CEO of their family's business.
The is one of the most unromantic stories in this genre that I've read. At no time in the story do I feel a romantic connection between Devlin and Cassidy. Devlin's character is consumed with presenting a facade indifference to indulge in emotional pursuits... running his business and maintaining control appear to be his only pursuits. Cassidy is similar to Devlin except she's consumed with being underrated and used as a pun for business purposes.

Totally Unexpected
LOL.....It's been quite a minute for the twist and turns of the ending of a HEA to throw me for a loop. Bravo! Ladies! I wish that I could give you 4.5 stars \ 5 stars are a rarity - I don't give them out easily. But, you all came really really close. Awesome job.

Great characters and storyline. I've read several books by this author, and every time I read one, she manages to captivate me from the very beginning. Highly recommended.

Very good read.
I know how the story will end. For me it's the journey ,,with it's ups and downs. A good book will make you enjoy the ride. You want to read again and again. This is one of those books.

An Awesome Read
I don’t like to give away a lot of the details, but I really enjoyed this book. Manipulation, lies, broken hearts, true love - all the drama that’s made for the movies. You should read it. You’ll love it.
