I have really enjoyed reading The Wondrous Cross during Holy Week. This refreshing devotional brought a new sense of wonder and joy into my days through 40 readings that blend personal stories with soul-stirring devotions.
Spanning from the Transfiguration to the Cross, this 40-day journey guides you through the life of Jesus with personal reflections, helpful activations, prayers, and recommended further scripture reading for those who want to dive deeper.
This book is more than just a devotional; it’s an invitation to realign our hearts with God and view the people around us in a new light as we prepare for Easter. (But really, it’s a fantastic read for any time of the year!)
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. My review reflects my honest opinion.

I’m sad to say I really didn’t get on with this devotional. It felt pretty random and not hugely related to its title of being about the transfiguration to the cross.

The Triggs are wonderful writers, but I struggled with this as a devotional.
