One omega. Four alphas. And a freak storm that won’t let them leave.
My heat is due, so I rent a beach house. The plan is sweat, suffer, and survive it alone. No alphas. And definitely not the Knightley Pack.
They’re the reason I need this damn vacation. Four walking ego-trips who’ve made a sport out of stealing my clients.
Then the sky goes black. The power dies. And guess who starts pounding on my door, seeking shelter from the storm? Now we're trapped, the phones are dead, and the air in the house has turned thick and sweet with the scent of my heat. I see the moment it hits them. Their clean, annoying alpha perfection curdles into something dark, spicy, and possessive. All four of them. At once.
Every logical part of me says this is a disaster. But the heat doesn't care about logic. It only cares about the four alphas circling their prey.
Standalone MFMMM. Stranded together. Enemies to Lovers. Forced Proximity. Synchronized Rut. Multiple steam scenes. HEA guaranteed.
So the first 2 books in this series I LOVED and binge read. This one I was so excited for but was really disappointed in. I couldn’t get over what kind of people the alphas were, real douche canoes. The only reason they acted nice was biology. They had to be nice to her, they didn’t want to be nice to her as a person without the heat. So they would have continued ganging up on her, trying to crush her and put her out of business, 4 moneyed guys )4 incomes versus one) against a girl with no family and no resources. Even J with his supposed crush never said anything about what bullies they were. If one of them had stood up against their bullying it might have been different but his having a crush and doing nothing is almost worse. I ended up having to skim the last half as their apologies were nauseating. So, I don’t do well with D-canoes as the mc’s. Who knew?
I'm getting the ick so I'm calling it here. Dnf page 116.
I've read business rivals to lovers before but this is more jerks to lovers. I can get over them taking vendors and job and such because that is business. It happens. To make the romance work there would have to be something there to incorporate her into their business or them into hers to make it theirs. Did that happen? Idk, I am too disgusted to find out.
The woman doesn't want them but the omega side she's arguing with does. The guys kind of treated her like shit, found out she's going into heat and that is why she was moody and sensitive so they decided to suddenly treat her nicer? And then she seems f-able to all of them so they do basic human things to help her. Like does making her tea and bringing it to the door really make the way they talked to her better? And spoiler, everything is set up for a heat and 4 ruts and I dont want to be here to witness that train wreck.
They're business rivals who show they are decent men at the same time and an angry omega who is mad they're doing better than her and she blames them for it. Sure, fine. Because there would be decent men in this situation. But these mmcs? They remind me of the men who show up to help Omegas through their heat but treat her horribly so she never wants and alpha and then will end up meeting a pack of decent people who will change her mind and show her not everyone is like those jerks and they live happily ever after. I cant ship this. If they treated her better from the start and didn't feel like wishywashy creeps in their povs then maybe. But sadly this book is not for me. And with the issues I had about how the men treated the fmc of the last book and now this, I am unsure if I want to continue this series.
Ooohhh fun! Rival event planners, a unplanned house sharing and a storm? Bring it on! Omega Sierra has been fighting with the ex military Knightly pack for a while. They steal her clients, her vendors, her business! To recover from the strain she plans a vacation for her heat week on a private beach. Only to be foiled twice. First by the Knightly pack showing up having rented the same beach house ( what are the odds) and second by the storm preventing them from leaving. Not only is her heat RIGHT there, but it sends all four into a rut! Feelings develop ( or were already there) and sparks fly. I really had fun reading this one!.
Book 3 of the Sweetwater City Reverse Harem Omegaverse series. Can be read as a standalone.
'One omega. Four alphas. And a freak storm that won’t let them leave.'
The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was well written and straightforward. World building was well developed and solidly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When your week away to relax turns into a literal nightmare you might be experiencing the FMC’s reality. She’s trapped with her professional rivals and she goes into heat while they go into rut. This story is a fairly light and fluffy when you’re in the omegaverse. Other than light trauma bonding absolutely nothing dark happens. Well written and full of charm this is something you can enjoy in one sitting. I know I did.
One omega wanting peace through her heat. Four alphas who just happen to be the omega’s business rivals are now stuck in an unfortunate circumstances. What will happen? Cole, Jalen, Malik, and Dax try to make their wrongs into rights with Sierra. What really happens when truths are spilled and feelings are laid out on the table after years of pint up feelings. Loved that true feelings were always there but turned into competition and stealing vendors/clients. Men being men on not hiding their feelings by doing something wrong. In the end they realize what they did for the past two years was completely horrible and they trying to fix everything as much as possible.
This book was honestly such a cute read and so well written!! I devoured it! I loved that I got those Awe moments as well as humor and laughter! I was happy that the Omega is an independent business woman who doesn't have to give up her dreams and she’s a boss in the Industry. The groveling was good but I feel like it needed more. I understand why they did what they did but I felt like she gave in to soon. The spicy scenes were good. Overall I think it was very well written and easy to follow along with.
Reverse Harem (RH) / Poly (3+ people) Sweet Contemporary Omegaverse Forced proximity Business rivals to lovers/ enemies to lovers Heat week Funny banter
Rival event planners double book a house during a storm and are forced to wait out the storm together… but of course she’s in heat! She tries to resist and stay away from them, and she loathes them but as she gets to know them and the heat becomes unbearable, the inevitable happens and sparks fly! And feelings develop! Loved the groveling, the way the pack came together and took care of her and wanted her in their pack, wanting her. This is character driven, and you could feel the tension! This was a fun light read and I ate it up! Hot and steamy I was entertained and humored.
Ok yes I can't get enough of omegaverse but this one is of a series I really enjoy reading. It is standalone and it is written cute and I love that part of omegaverse really. The omega here is a business woman so she is independent and doesn't give up her dreams, her goals in life. Love a good grovel and this one has that too. So overal well written, good story and a must read for every omegaverse lover out there.
This was much sweeter than I expected and a great rivals to lovers story. I'm not usually a big fan of enemies to lovers or variations of said trope, but this was really well done with an excellent grovel. The way the pack came together and the care they had for each other was obvious and a lovely read.
ABO fans, you'll love this. FMC wants to have a week of solitary peace to get through her heat and offload work stress. Vacation rental hijinks ensue when her main sources of work stress show up. Sweet. Spicy. Truly a fun read from the author. Highly recommend if you love omegaverse books.
I thought this was a cute Rivals to lovers! I really enjoyed how their relationships developed. It was very light hearted and I really enjoyed how she didnt immediately forgive them after everything. I definitely recommend!
1.5 ⭐ because I'm feeling nice. I wasn't expecting greatness going into this book and meh is what I got. I think half of the book could be cut out if the characters didn't repeat themselves so that's my one major complaint.
She is bullied by them. They steal her stuff. They ruin her everything. She FOLDS to have sex for a week. Grows a backbone for one day. They give her the shit she deserved and then say Is that enough? Like. Not really but ok.
I wanted a palette cleanser and I enjoyed the other books in the series so I went for this without remembering much about them. Absolutely devoured this in like 3 hours. I was not expecting to cry so much but it was heartwarming to see the progression of the relationship once they gave in.
This was ok. The plot had promise, but I couldn't tell the guys apart. They all felt like copy and paste of each other: all assholes that have a super quick turnaround to not being assholes... The ending also felt a little rushed.
