RESCUED BY MY ALIEN EX was a great intro to this new author and I'm really looking forward to reading the first book in the series! The world building was interesting and I loved that humans were living in space but there's all this tension between the aliens and humans and they're not supposed to interact.

Kira and Reskavi had a forbidden fling a year ago but Kira got scared by the kri'ith's practice of bonding for life and she broke things off and ran. When they meet again neither of them can resist their chemistry and the love they still share. The made a tender and spicy couple and we got a lot of story packed into a 90 page novella. I'm usually not a huge fan of second chance romance, but overall I really enjoyed this one.

This was such a fantastic novella and a great introduction to Lyra's new series! I loved all of the angst and mutual pining between Reski and Kira. Both thought they had gotten over the other, but when Kira puts out a distress signal, Reski and Kira are forced to confront their lingering feelings and undeniable connection. Short and steamy with a sprinkle of angst and drama, this really hit the spot, and I'm excited for more🖤

I’m reading Lyra Strake for the first time, and I have to say, I really loved it. The combination of second chance romance and aliens is absolutely fantastic. My only disappointment is that it’s a novella; I wish it had been longer!

This was a sweet, breezy read! I flew through it. The second chance romance hit all the cosy, feel-good notes, and I loved that the sci-fi elements weren't watered down even though the relationship takes centre stage. It wraps up satisfyingly while leaving me excited for what comes next in the series.

This book is sexy from page 1 and the world-building is terrific. I have no idea how the author smashed a cool interplanetary world, yearning, and multiple hot sex scenes in 40 pages, but she did it! The main female human character is objectively interesting, I want to follow her past this novella. If this is the small peak at what her full book might be like, I'm pumped!

I didn't know I was into aliens but I guess when Lyra Strake has full control over how that alien is designed, I do???

I had never heard of his author, just saw that she had a new novella and I'm a sucker for a sexy novella so joined her email newsletter for a copy. So glad I did, excited to watch her writing career.

A super cute, fast read that's full of spice and banter, but also fun other-worldly world building that I'm excited to see expanded on in future books. Can't wait for the author's first full-length novel!

I genuinely had a great time with the main lead and her dashing ex (but totally not over <.<) bf.

If you're in for a great romp (in more ways than one!) and a fun lil adventure. I recommend!
