Grief is a terrible thing. Sophie Crenshaw is intimately aware of its destructive power, having recently lost her grandmother. But her grandmother left her a house in her will. A house that Sophie has been dreaming of owning since she was a little girl. However, Sophie's aspirations for turning the old and dilapidated Victorian mansion into a bookstore begin to turn into a nightmare. As the leaves turn colors and the seasons change, so does Sophie's feelings toward renovating the house.
