Plot: 3.5/5 • Smut: 2/5 ———-> She has no one. No family. Barely any friends and works day and night. She’s a shifter who hasn’t shifted yet.
The shifter clan she works with is a bunch of rag tags.Misfits with no where else to go. Here’s where Dax comes in. He’s the son of the alpha. Using Ivy for all she’s worth. He knows something she doesn’t. Dax winds up killing his father and becomes alpha. A psycho alpha. The opposing clan wants to keep the other clan out. Dax has other ideas.
The son of the alpha of the opposing clan turns out to be Ivy’s fated mate. They try to break the mare bond but are too weak and wind up succumbing to their feelings.
This whole book(s) is Dax vs Madoc in trying to each defend their clans and keep everyone alive. Madoc will do anything for Ivy. There’s a little bit and a lot of fae magic in this one too. So messy. So back and fouth, which is why I didn’t gov ethics 4 stars.

Freakin loved it!
I’m glad I read this omnibus instead of the individual books. I binge read this over the course of a day and a half and lost sleep because I needed to finish it. It’s that good!
The story was good and the spice was spicy and not over the top. Just perfect.
