He knows her weaknesses… And just how to use them.
Grace Harper spends her days finding dream homes for strangers – but her office is a nightmare she can’t escape. Bullied by younger colleagues, and on a final warning from her boss, she hates her work, but desperately needs to keep earning so she can save enough to escape to university.
So when executive coach Oliver arrives to help the struggling team, Grace is keen to impress him by putting her best foot forward.
What she doesn’t realise is that Oliver is a deeply damaged individual who is prone to dark obsessions. And he sees something in Grace that makes her very, very special.
What begins as a series of coaching sessions soon warps into control, as Oliver positions himself as Grace’s secret guardian angel - one who knows what she needs better than she does.
And if Grace isn’t fully onboard with his plans? The price of refusing is darker than she could ever imagine.
As her career, relationships, and sanity begin to unravel, Grace realises she is being pushed to a place where she must answer one terrifying question – how far will she go to survive?
Trust No One - the shocking psychological thriller perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell, Liane Moriarty, and Sally Hepworth.
Caleb Crowe is a British writer of psychological thrillers, and is fascinated by stories where extraordinary things happen to ordinary people, and the mundane is transformed into the menacing.
He’s afraid of the sea, fearful in the countryside, panicky in large open spaces and terrified of small, confined spaces. There’s nowhere, and no one, that doesn’t possess some dark, brooding anxiety just waiting to have the lid prised open and turned into a twisty, suspenseful, nerve-shredding story.
He lives in Manchester with his partner, two children and two cats, who probably have their own mysterious agendas. Whether he's navigating the urban jungle or wrestling with the daily challenges of family life, Caleb draws inspiration from the unpredictability of everyday existence.
This thriller is wickedly twisted and unputdownable! I was instantly drawn into Grace’s world filled with betrayal and deception. Like they say, “It’s always the quiet ones,” and this unsettling story is a disturbing example. I was on the edge of my seat as Grace’s life began to unravel. A constant sense of foreboding and numerous twists make this an addictive, satisfying, and gripping read. I highly recommend this to all thriller addicts. Thank you, Booksprout and Inkubator Books for my ARC.
Trust No One by Caleb Crowe, Grace sells real estate just to make ends meet until she could save enough money to go back to school so when her new boss tells her she has to go to a counselor to help her be more assertive, she isn’t happy about it but needs must and she goes. This is where she meets the ever complicated Oliver Oliver has secrets of his own that he may need counseling for but as I said it’s secrets and so as of now he’s grace‘s counselor. Unbeknownst to Grace Oliver has a plan for her but when he sees she isn’t going with the program… A program might I reiterate she knows nothing about he decides to use much harder tactics. Soon Grace‘s life is falling a part people she knows are dying And it’s not fairing well for Grace or her mental health. I love this author’s thrillers because in between all the deceit he always finds a way to sneak in some lol moments which gives a great relief for such a serious topic as mental health. I have been reading this author’s books since the first one and this one is definitely my absolute favorite. Oliver is such a complicated character as well as grace who I felt so bad for. Thrillers don’t get much better than this and it is one I definitely recommend. #BookSirens, #TheBlindReviewer, #MyHonestReview, #CalebCrowe, #TrustNo one,
Grace is an incredibly relatable character, stuck in a draining job at a real estate firm surrounded by immature colleagues and a condescending boss who tells her she needs “coaching” to keep her position. She’s only there to pay the bills and hopefully return to university one day, all while dealing with financial pressure and strained family relationships. Just when she’s at her lowest, Oliver enters her life—presenting himself as a mentor who might finally help steer her in the right direction.
But this is not a feel-good self-improvement story.
Oliver starts off charming and supportive, but his true nature slowly reveals itself. His interest in Grace becomes obsessive, manipulative, and deeply unsettling. The dual POV between Grace and Oliver is executed brilliantly, showing just how wildly different their perceptions of the same events are—one clinging to hope and survival, the other spiralling into dark fixation.
Caleb Crowe’s writing captures Grace’s exhaustion and desperation so vividly that I could feel her hope slipping every time something finally seemed to go right, only for it to crumble again. I was rooting for her at every turn—she just couldn’t catch a break, and it made her journey all the more gripping.
Oliver’s transformation from calm and caring to chillingly controlling is done with eerie precision, making him one of the most disturbingly convincing characters I’ve read in a while.
This book had me flipping pages late into the night, muttering “just one more chapter,” fully hooked by the tension, raw emotion, and escalating psychological games. Caleb Crowe is masterful at building characters with multiple layers and making them feel terrifyingly real.
A dark, addictive, and emotionally charged thriller. Highly recommended!
Thank you to NetGalley, Caleb Crowe and the publishers for this incredible ARC in exchange for a honest review.
TRUST NO ONE BY THE LEGEND CALEB CROWE. Release day set for the 2nd of November 2025. 5 ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨s. Let me tell you guys... come November your in for a hell of a treat. Calebs writing is amazing. The twists and turns in this book gave me Whiplash and I did not see them coming. This book captivates you from the very beginning until the end.. If Caleb Crowe writes it I'm 1000% reading it. Brilliant Mr Crowe 👏 BRAVO YOU LEGEND.
Y’all! This one absolutely wrecked me—in the best way possible. This isn’t just a psychological thriller; it’s a full-blown descent into obsession, manipulation, and madness that’ll have you side-eyeing everyone in your office. 👀
Grace Harper is the kind of character you root for while screaming “GIRL, RUN!” at your Kindle. She’s juggling office bullies, a nightmare boss, and a wallet held together by hope and caffeine. Then Oliver swoops in—all charm, cologne, and corporate swagger—and things start smelling less like success and more like danger. 🕴️💀
Crowe’s writing? Razor-sharp and eerily smooth. He paints tension you can taste—like burnt coffee and fear lingering in recycled office air. The way he gets inside Grace’s head is deliciously unsettling, making you question every compliment, every “coaching session,” every text that feels just a little too personal.
By the time the truth started cracking open, I was clutching my metaphorical pearls and whispering, “Oh no he didn’t.” 😱
Fast-paced, addictive, and darkly clever, Trust No One is a pulse-pounding reminder that sometimes your worst nightmare wears a suit and a smile. 👔🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Don’t trust the title. Trust me, you need this book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oliver took the words delusional & obsessed to new heights! I mean the man was getting 7 from 2+2, creating all these false narratives in his twisted mind! But I guess this is exactly how a mentally unstable person operates. It was diabolical that he would consider himself qualified to professionally coach anyone during their challenging times, but the facade he portrayed was easy to fall for as he was very manipulative!
The tension built for the first 30 % or so but when the ball dropped, I didn’t want to stop reading. I do feel the story had the potential to have more of a jaw dropping ending, however I very much enjoyed this read as I have all other that I’ve read by Caleb Crowe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 This took me a little while to get into and I wasn't keen on Grace to start with but she grew on me! By the end, the twists and shocks come thick and fast and I couldn't put it down!
Reading Trust No One was an absolutely gripping experience from start to finish. Caleb Crowe weaves a story that feels chillingly real a reminder that sometimes the people who seem to want to help us the most can be the ones pulling the strings behind our downfall.
Grace Harper’s journey hit me hard. You can almost feel her exhaustion, her desperation to escape a toxic workplace, and her fragile hope that things might finally change when Oliver steps in. But as the layers start to peel back, you realize just how sinister his motives truly are. The psychological tension builds slowly but powerfully, and before I knew it, I was holding my breath, hoping Grace would somehow find her way out.
What I loved most is how the author captures the subtle shift from charm to control it’s terrifying, yet so believable. The characters feel alive, flawed, and deeply human. I found myself angry for Grace, rooting for her, and questioning every single person around her.
This isn’t just a thriller it’s a psychological deep dive into manipulation, power, and survival. Caleb Crowe delivers a story that lingers long after the final page. I can’t wait for its official release on November 2nd, because readers are truly in for a dark, unforgettable ride.
I read this on the same day as the Bathurst 1000, and just like on Mount Panorama, this book doesn’t let off the accelerator once it’s begun. Phew!
If You had you glued to the page (aka equal parts horrified and fascinated by Joe Goldberg’s twisted sense of logic), then you’ll want to run, not walk, to add Trust No One by Caleb Crowe to your shelves upon its release on November 2, 2025.
Told through dual perspectives — Grace, a woman barely surviving a toxic workplace, and Oliver, the executive coach sent in to “fix” things — it quickly becomes clear who really needs fixing. What starts as mentorship soon turns into something darker, as Oliver’s fascination curdles into obsession and Grace’s world begins to shrink.
Where You lets you live inside the stalker’s head, Trust No One goes one step further — giving you both sides of the game. You’ll feel Grace’s unease and confusion, then flip the page and see exactly how Oliver twists it to suit his narrative. It’s unnerving, addictive, and uncomfortably real.
Caleb Crowe’s writing is taut and relentless, with short, propulsive chapters that make it impossible to put down. This isn’t over-the-top thriller chaos — it’s quiet, creeping psychological control done frighteningly well.
Five stars from me — and I’ll be thinking twice before ever trusting a so-called “mentor” again.
When struggling realtor Grace Harper meets the company's new life coach, he seems like her last chance to turn things around. But his help comes with strings, and soon those strings start to tighten. He tracks her every move, and when Grace tries to escape his guidance she discovers the truth. He's not here to fix her life. He's here to control it. In a world where every smile hides a motive, Grace is about to learn the one rule that might save her... trust no one.
Trust No One is a gripping psychological thriller that had me hooked from the very beginning. Grace is such a relatable main character, trying to hold her life together while everything around her starts to unravel. The tension builds beautifully and Oliver is the kind of villain who feels too real. All charm on the surface, pure menace underneath. I loved how the story slowly blurred the line between help and control, making me question everyone's motives. Clever, unsettling, and full of twists, I would recommend this one for a quick chilling thriller!
Thank you to NetGalley, Caleb Crowe, and Inkubator Books books for this eARC! Publication date was November 2nd, 2025.
I absolutely LOVED this book! There were so many twists and turns at all time in the book. When you thought “what can happen now??” , you’ll turn to the next page and something unimaginable was already brewing . Once I grabbed this book , I couldn’t put it down. It felt like I punishment when I had to close it because I had to sleep . Took me 2 nights to finish it . This was such a great read. From jump the story had me. The characters were relatable and entertaining. The amount of manipulation within these pages had me on edge. The twists left me with my eyes bulging and gasping for air. Caleb Crowe is a genious with the pen. This story will have you looking at your coworkers differently. Seriously take heed to the title and TRUST NO ONE.

- the strong character build, with intense precision! - the addictive story, sprinkles of hope, turned into crumbles of frustration and desperation. - the psychological mind twisting games, masterly written by Caleb. - the duel between Grace and Oliver was very intriguing and was worked out how it should be to capture a reader!

Wow, once I started this book I could not put it down and read it from start to finish in one sitting! The twists and turns in this novel are mind blowing! I liked this book. In the beginning I wasn't sure where it was heading with the different people but as I read on there was so many twists and turns. I definitely didn't see some of the twists coming. I enjoyed this book and as usual Caleb delivers a great story.
Idk…. I gave this author another chance due to this books high rating after hating the wrong neighbour. But this honestly wasn’t much better. I feel like a solid 25% of this book could’ve been removed and it would’ve had the same effect. It was so slow. I was curious how it would play out so I finished it but there truly just is no thriller aspect to this authors books at all. I hate to be harsh especially to an indie author but I just don’t get the hype
Brilliant story and deserving of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! After the beginning sorted all the people and parts, Trust No One was INTENSE and unputdownable! Everything afterwards spiraled way out of control in the most unexpected ways through a plethora of twists and toward a shocking yet FITTING conclusion!
I’ve heard nothing but excellent things about author Caleb Crowe’s books! And this one left me gasping! I’m so happy this was my first psychological thriller by him! Now I just need to figure out which of his is my next read!
***I received an advance reader copy from Inkubator Books via Booksprout, and my review contains my own opinion.***
Caleb Crowe has a talent to write such compelling characters with whom you can easily have love/hate relationship and that is what i love about his books.
Grace is struggling. In everything - keeping good relationship with her sister, maintaining calm everyday life with her injured boyfriend, holding on to her "notdreamjob" and keep some kind of financial stability. One mistake at work leaves her balancing one step away from unemployment. But there is a way to improve - coaching sessions with Oliver. What she doesn't know is that Oliver, after experiencing recent psychological trauma, do not have Grace's best interests in mind.
Wow, it was a rollercoaster - when i thought that things can't go more south for Grace they sure did. Grace feels very relatable - the struggling with one major thing that usually leads to more problems in other life aspects as well, and all she wants to do is just to be in control of her life again. And Oliver is the ultimate villain - i can only admire how much author has put in this character to make him this way!
The only things i wasn't a big fan of was the beginning of the book (this is a slow burn but most of the part 1 was too slow even for my liking) and the ending was a little bit too rushed, but otherwise i really loved it and highly recommend.
Thank you Netgalley for this advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.
Book Review: Trust No One by Caleb Crowe (5/5 Stars)I just finished Trust No One by Caleb Crowe, and I have to say, it completely blew me away! This is a solid five-star read for anyone who loves high-stakes psychological thrillers. From the very first page, I was totally gripped by the main character, Grace Harper. She’s smart, resourceful, but also deeply vulnerable, making it easy to root for her as her world unravels. The plot focuses on her desperate struggle when she realizes she literally can’t trust anyone around her, and the tension just keeps ratcheting up.And then there's Oliver. I don't want to give anything away, but the dynamic between Oliver and Grace is the absolute core of the mystery. Caleb Crowe does a masterful job of making you constantly question his motives. Is he the hero, the villain, or something far more complicated? I found myself analyzing every single interaction, constantly shifting my suspicions. The pacing is relentless, the twists are genuinely shocking, and the emotional payoff is huge. If you're looking for a book that will keep you guessing, steal your sleep, and stick with you long after you turn the final page, pick up Trust No One. I absolutely loved it!.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC, which I am leaving voluntarily.
Grace works in a Real Estate Firm. She hates it and is only there to pay the bills and save enough money to return to Uni - which she had to leave due to family commitments. The other staff are immature idiots and her boss? An egotistical tool who tells her she needs coaching in order to keep her job.
Enter Oliver, the Coach.
He seems nice but begins to have a dark and twisted obsession over Grace and will stop at nothing to keep her under her tutelage.
Caleb's excellent descriptive writing had me feeling really sad for Grace, everything seemed stacked against her and when she finally achieves some success, it crumbles around her. I could FEEL her exhaustion and dwindling hope of her life improving - and achieving her goals. Grace's character was raw and desperate throughout the story.
I love how Oliver's character slowly shifted from calm, caring, and helpful to chillingly toxic and brutally controlling...
Caleb Crowe, you are a true master of extremely diverse character's who have several layers to them. This was a page-turner that interrupted my sleep this week! "Just ONE more chapter......" 😂
The story centers on Grace Harper, a real estate agent saving up for university after giving up her studies to care for her parents until they passed away. She now lives with her boyfriend, who has been unable to work since a tragic accident that broke his neck — leaving Grace as the sole provider, doing her best to keep them both afloat.
Told from two viewpoints, the story unfolds through a mix of workplace bullying, stalking, manipulation, and psychological tension. It starts off slow, but once the twists start coming, they don’t stop — keeping you hooked until the end.
There aren’t too many characters, which actually works well for the story’s pacing, but a few could’ve been described in more detail to help readers picture them better.
I’d give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 — it genuinely made me cringe in the best way, especially during the moments when the antagonist’s presence felt suffocating and I could feel Grace’s stress on a deep, realistic level.
A really good thriller overall — and I’m glad I got to read it before the world did. ✨
I really enjoyed this read, it gripped me right from the very start and kept me hooked all the way through. The book is well written with a compelling story line that follows Grace, a real estate agent who is bullied by her younger colleagues and undervalued in her firm, especially by her boss who determines she needs coaching to be able to stay in her current role. It is during this that she meets the charming Oliver, the coach that has come to do the sessions, but nothing is ever quite like it seems.
The characters are well developed and I found myself really liking Grace, I found her so relatable and believable and someone I actually really wanna meet in real life. Even characters that I really didn't like, such as Oliver were also so well developed.
I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting. It is full of suspense and tension and kept me on the edge of my seat whilst I was reading it. The twists were also fantastic and kept me guessing all the way through. I loved it
Thank you @zooloosBT For letting me be part of this tour and reviewing this book. Trust No One is a psychological thriller. I like the front cover; it looks intriguing. There are two narratives in the story. Grace is struggling due to her selling houses as a job but does not seem to be doing well due to her being on her last warning from her boss, and her colleagues are not that great either. Then she meets Oliver, who is a coach who is trying to help, but he has his own dark issues. I found the first couple of chapters a bit challenging to get into at first, and as I carried on reading, I eventually got into the book and was gripped to the end. It was a thrilling and dark read that kept me on my toes and made my heart race, so I am so glad I kept on going. It was a great read. I did like Grace as a character and did feel for her struggling in her job, and I did like her as a person, but I was very unsure about Oliver, and I didn’t know what to make of him at first. I did enjoy the twists and turns in the book and did not expect them at all. 4 stars
This book completely messed with my head. A tense thriller, a deep, disturbing dive into manipulation, control, and survival. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. Every chapter pulled me in deeper, and I kept thinking, “What now?” only to be hit with another twist.
Grace is stuck in a job she doesn’t love, trying to keep her life together while dealing with money stress, relationship issues, and a boss who sends her to a coach to “fix” her. That coach, Oliver, seems helpful at first but wow, he’s something else. The more I learned about him, the more I wanted Grace to run far, far away.
The tension builds slowly, and I loved how the story made me question everything. Even Grace starts to doubt herself, and I felt every bit of her fear and confusion. The writing is sharp and unsettling in the best way.
Oliver is such a well-written villain. He’s charming, calculated, and terrifying.
I’ll definitely be reading more from Caleb Crowe. Just maybe not right before bed, too much adrenaline.
The only reason I read this book is because Caleb Crowe” was written on the cover, so I didn’t read the blurb until now. I think the experience was better by doing so as I had no idea about any of the characters.
There was so much to love about this book. Firstly, the characters. Not all were loveable but they definitely had contrasting personalities which made the character interactions so much more interesting. Take Kyle for example. I’m sure we have all worked with an annoying employee such as Kyle which we hate but we all love to hear stories of others working with someone like Kyle. He definitely added humour to the story. I think going in blindly led me to not know who to trust so I highly recommend doing that.
Many times I had made predictions only to be wrong each and every time. The ending was clever and unexpected. I would really love a sequel though. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters.
4.5 Stars Wow this book was hard to put down and I rushed through it. I have read ALOT of psychological thrillers. Typically there is more interaction between the obsessed person and the victim. There might even be times when the victim of the story has done something in their past or is doing something in the present that causes the obsessed person to act in a way as to get revenge. This book was not that. Grace was living her life, doing what she needed to do and Oliver was obsessed. It was a change from reading a book like this and thinking I see why this happening. This book the whole time was a shock as to the lengths Oliver was going for "justice". I like a thriller that can change the normal type of story into something different. The ending I did not see coming and it left me shocked. Typically endings for thrillers go on and on and by the end I don't care about the last chapter. For this it was different as well. I was hooked to the end wanting to know what happened and the wrap up of everything.
*I was provided a Ebook Arc by Netgalley and Inkubator.
Huge thanks to the author and NetGalley for the ARC of this absolutely wild ride. I’m still recovering. Emotionally. Mentally. Inbox-ally.
This book is unhinged in the best way possible. I went in expecting a psychological thriller… I left with trust issues, a deep fear of motivational quote services, and an irrational hatred for large flat screen TVs.
It’s dark, smart, and oddly hilarious at times. The villain is one of the most disturbingly human I’ve ever read. He’s not hiding in the shadows, he’s emailing you coaching strategies and signing you up for… a donkey sanctuary. (Yes, really. IYKYK.)
Best part? It’s not just twisty. It’s fresh. No recycled tropes, no dead-weight filler. Just nonstop tension, emotional manipulation, and chaos therapy at its finest.
5 stars. Will never look at coaching sessions or unsolicited curry deliveries the same way again.
Trust No One by Caleb Crowe is an intense, twist-filled thriller that had me hooked from the very first page. Crowe masterfully builds tension and suspicion, making it impossible to tell who can truly be trusted. Every chapter ends with a cliffhanger that kept me saying “just one more,” until I’d devoured the entire book in a single sitting.
The characters are layered and realistic, and the pacing is spot-on—never a dull moment. I especially loved how Crowe’s writing style balances sharp dialogue with vivid atmosphere, pulling you right into the story. Fans of psychological suspense and unpredictable endings will absolutely love this one.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. Trust No One is a must-read for anyone who loves dark secrets, deceit, and jaw-dropping twists.
Trust No One completely sucked me in from the first chapter. What starts as a pretty relatable workplace story – horrible coworkers, toxic boss, trying to keep it together – takes such a dark turn once Oliver shows up. The tension builds slowly, almost sneakily, until you realise just how deep he’s gotten into Grace’s head. It’s one of those books where you keep saying “just one more chapter” and suddenly it’s 2 a.m. The psychological manipulation felt scarily real, and the twists were genuinely unsettling without being over the top. Grace is such a flawed but sympathetic character, and I found myself both frustrated and rooting for her all the way through. If you like slow-burn psychological thrillers that get under your skin and make you question who you can trust, this one’s definitely worth picking up.
Grace works for a realtor company. She feels like everyday she is just trying to keep her head above water, trying not to get fired from her job. Oliver works for the realtor company as a third party manager who gives the employees advice and coaching when they fall short Grace has been sent by her boss to visit with Oliver. In hopes that her sales can pick up Oliver feels he can help Grace. He's good at helping people. He's not a loser like he was in high school. Oliver even after Grace feels like she no longer needs his help has planned to help her anyways rather she wants it or not
