Opener: “It was Mr. Bean's birthday, and he wanted to enjoy it! What could he do? 'How can I make this important day a happy day?' he thought. 'I know. I'll go out to a restaurant for dinner this evening! I'll enjoy that.' Mr. Bean didn't often eat in restaurants. They were sometimes very expensive. And he sometimes did things wrong when he was in a new or strange place. Oh dear! Life wasn't easy for Mr. Bean!”
Summary: Mr Bean in Town contains two very funny stories. Steak Tartare, is about the hilarious events that happen as Mr Bean celebrates his birthday in a very peculiar dinner at a nice restaurant. In The Launderette, a series of mishaps occur when he unsuccessfully tries to do the laundry.
Final Review: The near-silent comedian Mr Bean is an indelible character from childhood in the minds of many. The two stories here, I think, are adaptations of a couple of episodes of the Mr Bean cartoon series. They are hilarious and getting to hear the internal monologue of the titular character, and how he makes sense of his at times outrageous actions was a treat to read. Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Mr Bean is a child at heart and these two stories will awaken yours.

It's interesting. The description in this book is almost similar to the film version. I can really remember Mr Bean's actions in the film version. To an English-learner, this article really teach me much how to describe actions.
1. 80min 2. penguin readers 3. restaurant, birthday, tartare, hide, laundry, trouser, skirt 4, a. 'And he quickly changed the young man's cup of conditioner for his cup of black coffee' b. This sentence is the funniest part of this story I think. He was made laugh by young strong man, but that was his revenge of it. I think he is clever because I can't come up with these kind of harassment. 5, There were 2 different story in this book. He is quite crazy but I can't hate him because I know how he has talent about gags. I laugh when he do something stupid that I can't imagine or expect. I think he is a kind of natural blur.
