Finished listening to audiobook & might like to revisit how to manage procrastivity, scheduling tasks. Inconvenient that worksheets available online require setting up an account with New Harbinger, which is a barrier to prompt access. This is esp unhelpful give the target audience of ADHDers will often lose interest due to the extra step.
Seems overall helpful, & I might look through a print copy to check
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for to learn more about and target executive dysfunction leading to avoidance and escapism behaviour in ADHD affected people. A good book.
As an adult with both conditions, I found this book unnecessarily depressing. The author repeats endless descriptions of the deficits of ADHD, without mentioning anything positive. It is written for the use of someone who has not fully mastered using an agenda or planner. It could be helpful for high school or college students or recently diagnosed adults, but I would proceed with caution if the reader is currently in a depressive state.
