About the author

translator, founder of the CALITATE school of Romanian language and promoter of the Romanian culture in Poland. She is a graduate of Romanian philology at the Jagiellonian University, where in 2006-2007 she conducted classes and an inter-faculty Romanian language course. Since 2008, he has been teaching at the CALITATE school, where he teaches groups at all levels.

She is the co-author of the Romanian-Polish thematic dictionary edited by Constantin Geambaşu and Ewa Rossi ("Lexic tematic român-polon", Editura Paideia, Bucharest 2002), for the needs of which she developed a vocabulary in the field of culture and economy. She collaborated on the creation of the "Wielkiego słownika rumuńsko-polskiego" by Halina Mirska-Lasota and Joanna Porawska (UJ Publishing House, Krakow 2009).

She is the originator of the Romanian language workshops that have been held continuously since 2008 as part of the Romanian Culture Festival in Krakow.

She is passionate about literature - poetry, prose, drama. She is the author of translations of the most respected Romanian writers, such as Max Blecher, Mircea Cărtărescu, Dan Lungu, Varujan Vosganian. Winner of the European Poet of Freedom Literary Award of the City of Gdańsk for the translation of Ana Blandiana's book of poems "My Fatherland A4" and of the Angelus Central European Literary Award of the City of Wrocław for the translation of Varujan Vosganian's "Book of Whispers". In 2017, she was honored with the translator's award from the Romanian cultural and literary magazine "Observator cultural".
