The author defines self-discipline as a key to achieving success, by accepting responsibility for your life. His 7 step method you can conquer it: step 1, decide what you want; step 2 write down your specific goal; step 3 set a realistic date for accomplishing it; step 4 write a list of what you can do to achieve your goal; step 5 prioritize the most beneficial tasks; step 6 start on your tasks right away; step 7 do something everyday that helps you achieve your goal. Also, he suggests asking for advice on how to achieve goals more quickly. Conquering your fears by facing them immidiately and completing the "disaster repoort": 1) describe your fear, 2) determine worst-case scenario, 3) find solutions for that scenario, 4) ensure that scenario doesn't play out. Force yourself to save 1% of your income and discipline to live off the remaining and list the must do, should do, nice to do and delegatable activities, as well as take out the non-essential ones. Also, living a healthy life is a key to achieving success. A good book to get yourself more focused.

I mean, we all need this in January. Perfect book especially if you are full of excuses why you shouldn't be doing certain things, procrastinating and just a doze of reminder of why self discipline is important.
