The Cheetah's Unexpected Gift: A Fast Paced, Fated-Mates Shifter Romance

Rate this book
Chacha has spent years keeping his heart locked away. Once burned by betrayal, the fierce cheetah shifter swore he would never again let love sink its claws into him.
Fighting is easy. Trusting is not.

Presleigh doesn’t have time for romance. As a devoted workaholic, she’s always been the steady one—too busy for anything serious, too busy taking care of everyone else. But when her path collides with Chacha’s, their felines recognise each other instantly, and neither is ready for the wildfire that follows.

With pure intentions, they both vow to take it slow. Resist the pull. Fight the instinct. But instincts don’t play fair, and neither do felines…

As passion ignites, boundaries are crossed—including the most sacred for a shifter. And when Chacha’s primal bark forces Presleigh into an early season, life-altering consequences follow, changing everything they thought they knew about love, desire, and fate.

The Cheetah’s Unexpected Gift is a scorching, feel-good shifter romance. Perfect for fans of possessive heroes, fierce heroines, and fated-mate passion that can’t be denied.

Mother. Author. Wellness Blogger.
Lover of Music. Believer of Romance. Dirty Minded.

LeeSha McCoy is the author of all things African American Romance. She released her first book in 2012 and currently writes African American Urban Romance, Paranormal, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romantic Comedy, and Steamy Contemporary Romance under the pen name Karmen Kane.

With over 40 books published to date, representation is important to her, so you will always find positive representations of black men and women in her books, with a focus on family bonds, growth, and above all, strong fiery heroines and the heroes that love the hell out of them for it.

Writing novels that make her readers 'feel' is her mission; she does not just write stories to be read, but for her readers to experience. As someone who has lived through many up and downs in her personal life, she uses those experiences in all of her stories, priding herself on the realism in her work, regardless of genre.

She began writing in the late 90's, although it was mostly song lyrics she wrote to escape her loneliness. As one of only a handful of bi-racial children living in her small hometown of Banbury, she struggled to make friends and to be accepted, so she spent most of her childhood alone.

She currently lives in England, but her family is spread all across the United States, including the states of Baltimore, Colorado, and Texas.

As a mother to four beautiful children, she spends her spare time playing Roblox and finding new places to walk with them, helping others discover self-love through her wellness blog, binge reading dirty romances, or watching food review shows on YouTube.

They tried really hard to fight the pull.,It was crazy how press didn't tell her father or mother what was really going in im.so.glad bro stepped in and put Benjamin in his place. 4.5 ⭐️ based off vibes alone. Really been enjoying this cheetah shifter series by Leesha. Loved Chacha and Pree. Felt myself going into a slump so this guy just right. This is a age gap with an older man/younger woman. They take things a lil slow at first but that didn’t last long. Minimal drama. Looking forward to seeing these characters again.

That Protective 💗

I loved how they loved each other. Pres was in her head too much, but their Cheetah knew what to do. Ken and her hubby didn’t play about her friend! Now Chacha’s father has another daughter to spoil!💖💖💖💖💖 . I can’t wait till Aziz book to come out.

I liked the instant attraction between the two.

I agree this was a fast paced romance that stayed the course without losing its spark. Chacha and Presleigh were indeed soul mates. I also loved that there was no drama between the two. Most loved the HEA!
