I’ve played sold out arenas, had fans scream my name, have had all my dreams come true. Coming home from tour and finally being back in my own space has me feeling lonelier than expected.
Then a call lit up my phone—a number I didn’t know and normally wouldn’t have answered. But something in my gut told me too. I couldn’t turn down a plea from someone stranded and in need of help.
Bentley is unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. He shakes up my world and makes me wonder if I know myself as well as I thought I did.
One wrong number. That’s all it took to change my life.
A kind stranger with a saviour complex. Thoughtful. Funny. I couldn’t say no when he offered me hem, or when he asked to be my friend.
But I won’t be that cliché. I won’t be the token gay guy who falls for the straight friend… will I?
Heidi grew up in south west Sydney, Australia, and now lives in Queensland with her marvelous Husband, Hayden and their Daughter, Artemis. Heidi is 29 and is also a dog mum to beautiful loving Labrador, Daisy.
Heidi is a self-published best selling author, with 5 years since her first book was published, and a total of 8 published books so far, Heidi writes all kinds of Romance. She fell in love with happy endings as a child, and has chased them ever since. Having dyslexia, Heidi had difficulties learning and maintaining the standard literacy and numeracy requirements in school, until she found her love for reading. It all started with a cringe worthy obsession over a certain Edward Cullen (no regrets), which has fuelled Heidi to go on to reading 200+ books a year. With a passion for reading, Heidi began writing short stories, which led to her writing her first book in 2019.
She has been an attending author at several book signings, including BABE 2025, Books-in-Sight 2025 Melbourne, Newcastle Book Boyfriend Event 2024, and Love on the Beach 2024; with more book signings coming up in the future! Check it out on the Events page!
This is the final book in this series, and wow, didn’t see it coming to an end in the way that it did. That being said, I read this book in about three hours; I just didn’t want to put it down. Ethan and Bentley meet in an unexpected way, but sometimes, that’s just the way it is. The boys just have a natural relationship form, and whilst it did seem quick, that is how it happens in life sometimes.
