Scream For Me

She defiled my house in the name of Halloween—strung lights through my bones, laughed in the halls where I died.

She called it festive. I call it blasphemy.

Now I’ll clip this little bird’s wings and break her open until she learns what fear really tastes like.

ARC review

Rae lives for Halloween, actually so much that she’s living of doing haunted houses and when she buys a house where a tragedy once happened, she is estatic, it’s the perfect setting for a haunted house, but those who live among the walls isn’t as estatic as her.

Scream for me I a paranormal dark romance that I would say has a hint of horror. It got me hooked right from the start.
It’s dark, mysterious and nerve wracking. And yes, it actually made my cringe in disgust at one point - and I loved it.
Please read the trigger warnings before starting this, as it is pretty dark with a hint of gore 🤭

A Bone-Chilling, Heart-Stopping Masterpiece!
Scream for Me by Eleanor Crowe is an absolute knockout. From the very first page, eleanor drags you into a world that’s equal parts terrifying, intoxicating, and impossible to escape. Her writing is razor-sharp, weaving atmosphere and suspense so thick you’ll feel it pressing against your skin.
The characters pulse with life (and secrets) dead and alive, each one layered and flawed in ways that make you ache for them even as you question their motives. The pacing is relentless—every chapter ends like a scream cut off too soon, forcing you to read “just one more chapter ” until suddenly it’s 3 a.m. and you’re staring wide-eyed into the dark. I actually was scared at times 😅🤣
Eleanor has done thei paranormal romance/erotic horror soooo perfectly —It was actually an emotional exorcism. This book is about fear, yes, but also longing, grief, and the desperate human need to be seen. It’s rare to find a story that makes your heart race in terror one moment and shatter in empathy the next.
By the lastbpage of this incredible book I was floored—gasping, haunted, and strangely grateful. Eleanor Crowe has given us a tale that lingers, echoing long after the last page is turned.
If I could give this book more than 10 stars, I would. Scream for Me is not just a read—it’s an experience. Dark, dazzling, unforgettable

Having read Eleanor Crowe’s work before I already knew I loved her unique style of writing, she has a way of drawing you in and helping to really bring the story to life within your mind.

With her latest book Scream for Me she truly does not disappoint, it’s not a book I would recommend for the faint hearted and maybe not something for those of you who are new to the mind altering reality of dark romance, but, for those of us who have read dark romance before settle in, because boy do I have just the book for you!

You can generally tell how dark a book is going to be based on the length of 5he trigger warnings, all I’ll say about this pitch black story is, 2 pages, this is a Paranormal dark romance, so you need to read this with an open mind and discount everything that you thought you knew about Halloween, ghosts and sexuality. This book is sinfully good and more than a little unhinged, although I’m not going to lie to you, this book definitely had moments where I questioned my sanity and my concept of reality.

The character development in Scream for Me was incredible, Huxley, well he is a force of nature (literally I suppose), he’s possessive, obsessive and deliciously depraved, he truly gives the phrase “touch her and die” an entirely new meaning. The chemistry between Huxley and Rae was damn near palpable, I mean there were moments were I almost felt like a voyeur of sorts, the tension between them was explosive in a way that made you want them together even knowing that he didn’t just have red flags he practically was one. That being said the story had its ups and downs with chilling horror, flaming hot levels of spice and an ominous vibe throughout.

With Spooky season just around the corner you should absolutely add this to your tbr, it’s the perfect book to read alone in the dead of night, if you dare?

** ARC Review **

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Rae has spent her life chasing the ultimate Halloween rush. She lives for that razor-thin moment between terror and exhilaration, when adrenaline ignites and the world narrows to pure, electric fear.

Tropes include:
Halloween
Haunting
PNR
Violence
Fiery FMC
Touch her & 💀
Obsession

Nothing scares her anymore. She’s built a career as the mastermind behind the most chilling haunted house experiences around. One look at an abandoned home and she’s already envisioning props, costumes, and spine-tingling effects. Rae lives and breathes horror.

Until the line between illusion and reality blurs and she’s dragged straight into her own personal nightmare.

Hexley haunts Blackmoor Manor. It’s his domain, his prison, and his playground. He’s drawn to Rae, obsessed, determined to terrorize her until she breaks.

Then there’s Dayana. Is she Rae’s salvation… or the devil in disguise?

Everything that can go wrong, does, and Rae finds herself teetering on the edge of madness, desperately clinging to anything that feels real.

At its heart, this is a story about two souls bound by something dark and undeniable, a connection that transcends realms and defies logic.

I didn’t see the ending coming, but it felt inevitable as if it was always meant to happen that way.

⚠️Please check trigger warnings before diving in!

Happy Reading!

Scream For Me👻

- Paranormal dark romance
- Erotic horror
- Spice
- Possessive MMC
- Forced proximity
- He watches her

Need a spooky book just in time for Halloween? I got you! This is a book that you won’t be able to stop at “just one more chapter”, the storyline is so good that you just have to keep reading to find out what happens next. I love spicy books but I need plots and good story lines too which Eleanor is a master at! When I say the plot is plotting and the spice is spicing🥵🌶️ who knew a ghost could be so fun👀 this book was so fun and spooky and another addition to my collection of Eleanor’s books, I’m yet to read a book I have not loved from her!

Let me introduce you to Hexley🤪 I will say this is my first paranormal book I’ve read and I’m so glad Hexley was my first.. he’s unapologetically lethal, possessive, obsessed and willing to do anything for vengeance! He’s misunderstood but when he first meets the feisty FMC Rae he hates her, but will she make him feel again? Will she be Hexleys undoing? Get your copy of Scream for Me on October 27th to find out👻🎃

There are 2 pages of trigger warnings if you like to know what you’re getting yourself into, but personally I didn’t read them for the element of surprise😉

Check the trigger warnings!

This book is creepy, intense & pretty much perfection.

I thought it might be too much for me as it was the first book I’ve read that is this dark but I loved every single second of it! The suspense had me on edge & the darker themes had me hooked & desperate for more.

Rae at first gave me the impression of a typical fiery FMC but she is so much more, her darkness was invigorating even at her breaking point.

Hexley was definitely my favourite. He was strong, possessive, angry & pitch black but he is such a complex character, I couldn’t help but fall in love with him.

Dayana was fascinating! For me, she was the one that made this creepy. Her role in the story is what kept me on edge throughout & I actually really liked her character as much as I was probably supposed to hate her. She is the epitome of pure darkness.

This book let me explore my darkness properly for the first time. It was such a good story & definitely did not disappoint!

I am honoured to have been able to read this as an ARC!

If you like horror erotica with pitch black characters & dark themes, you NEED to read this book!

🖤What a perfect book for this time of year. A paranormal dark romance, erotic and horror. This is one of those books you can’t just stop at one chapter with the dark twists and turns, I needed to continue, and consumed it all in one day! The FMC Rae is feisty and loves Halloween, has no fear at all and she is building her career of making haunted houses, yet this one house has a dark past where a tragedy once happened. What lies within the walls all to be uncovered not knowing if this is real or just hallucinations. Then there’s Hexley, ohh Hexley 🥵 the unhinged ghost, he hates Rae and wants her gone. I did leave my morals behind at some of the spicy scenes 🤭 This is an enemies to lovers & touch her and d!e. Do I now have another book BF added to my list, a ghost, yes, absolutely. This is horror with gore so not for the faint hearted especially with the 2 pages of trigger warnings, but I like to go in blind for the full effect! Once again Eleanor has created another great book!🖤

If you're craving thrills, jump scares, and a whole lot of heat this spooky season… this book might just be your perfect fix 🎃

Tragedy, whispers, footsteps that don't belong to you… welcome home. If the floors could talk, they'd scream 👻

You thought it was just a house. They said the place was haunted, but they didn't warn you how hungry the spirits could be. Until the past started breathing through the walls. The darkness didn't leave, and neither did the eyes watching you 👁

A 5☆ read. You thought attraction had limits? The afterlife begs to differ 🥵 I mean... who needs living hearts when the dead can still make yours race? 😏

⚠️ Curiosity killed the cat, but your poor little heart might get wrecked first 👻 Trigger warnings apply. Your mental health matters 🌼

Excuse me but what the hell was that… and where can I get some more!!

The spooky vibes within this paranormal deliciousness were next level! To the point I had to stop reading it before bed because clearly I’m not as tough as I thought!!

Our FMC Rae plans to run her own haunted house and the Blackmore Manor is the perfect house to make those dreams come true, until it isn’t.. especially when it’s being protected by its previous resident who just happens to be one of the most unhinged depraved ghosts I’ve read, Hexley!

It has haunting, it has possession. it has vibes that will make you think you’re seeing shadows in the corner of vision.. but it also has scenes that had me sweating for numerous reasons.

“My body is no longer mine. It’s his instrument, his altar, and I’m the sacrifice.”

🖤 ARC Review 🖤

I absolutely devoured this book. Hexley has officially earned a spot on my top-tier book boyfriend list—equal parts terrifying and irresistible. 🥵🥵🥵

I wasn’t expecting just how unhinged some of these scenes would get, and let me tell you, I was gasping out loud more than once.

The horror element is no joke either. Creepy atmosphere? Check. Gore that makes your stomach flip? Check. The kind of psychological spiraling where you’re not sure if the FMC is losing it or if you are? Double check.

If you’re in the mood for something spooky, bloody, dark and gloriously messed up—with a ghost who’s as hot as he is unhinged—you need this book in your life. 👻🕷️🕸️

I loved this book. Definitely gave me Hell House movie vibes. This book is very dark and has some triggering events in the book so please check the trigger warnings. This book definitely perfect for the spooky season and for all the spooky lovers. The main female character was someone that is strong and independent but also has nothing left but this haunted house she is creating. And the main male character hexley is such an amazing possessive man. I loved imagining their scares in the book and also trying to imagine this haunted house she was creating. If you loved all things spooky this book is amazing.

I can't express just how much I loved this book. I was utterly obsessed. Paranormal ghost smut is my absolute favourite type of read. Hexley's past is devastatingly traumatic, and he didn't deserve the cards he was delt, but man, oh man, he is the hottest ghost that has ever graved the pages Rae's obsession with all things scary and scariest makes this story addictive. Reading Rae and Hexleys story unfold is nothing like i have ever read before. This is a paranormal smut festival and was engrossed from the very first sentence! This is the perfect Halloween read and one that will ruin you in the best way 😍🖤

Rae buys a haunted house where a family is unalived years before hand. Her and her friends want to turn it into the best haunted house walkthrough, to build her career and reputation. Weird things start happening and finds that Hexley is haunting her.
Hexley is the one who supposedly unalived his whole family but his story is not what is portrayed to the media.
If you want dark/paranormal/halloween romance this is the right one!! I was soooo happy to receive this arc! Definitely will be on rotation for re reads!

I fully devoured this book page by page! Eleanor's writing hooked me from the first page and I was in. Her writing style is so natural and effortless and I loved her main character.
Rae moves into an abandoned house with a past, eager to turn it into a scare attraction for Halloween but doesnt bank on sharing it with a very angry entity who wants her out, at any cost. Rae becomes embroiled in something far darker when another entity emerges in the house.
If you're looking for pitch black, paranormal with amazing writing & characters... this will do it!

Good plot twist, check
Spicy, check
Triggers, check
This was a good book. Rae really likes haunted houses. And when she grew up decided that's how she would make her living, and it's going well. That is until she goes back to her hometown and acquires Hexley's old house. Bad things happened in the house, the reason Rae decided it would be a great setup for a haunted house. But this house is actually truly haunted. And these ghosts don't want her or her crew there. This read gets a bit unhinged, so if you really like unhinged, spicy horror in a book. This is the read for you.

He hates her and wants her gone, but she won't scare away so easily! But that stubborn streak could spell the end of both of them..
The defiance from both sides throughout this book was intense, neither willing to give an inch. The twists, the depravity and the tension were just absolute chefs kiss! I couldn't put this book down whilst I was reading it, and I will definitely be reading it again! Thank you for putting out this spicy spookfest right before Halloween!

As if Raes job isn't something we all want to do, surrounded by scare actors for a living! The trigger pages were literal pages long (27 triggers!!!)

This isn't just a ghost story. There is trauma, there are plot twists, and the shock factor is real! So much detail is packed into this story, I could not put it down! Plus, the ending wrapped it all up so well!

A darkly delicious paranormal romance that blends with horror vibes. The fmc buys a house with a chilling past, where an entire family met a gruesome fate, and dreams of turning it into a walkthrough haunted mansion.
The ghostly mmc? Not amused and wants her gone and will do everything in his spectral power to make that happen.
Perfect for anyone building a truly chilling spooky tbr 🎃🕸

I dnf’d this half way through it just wasn’t for me I didn’t find it intriguing I don’t enjoy it and just a bit weird not what happened but how it was told if that makes sense. Was a bit cheesy in places and I just didn’t enjoy it, it could have been done better but glad I gave it a try
