I came into this one for the hockey and stayed for the absolute chaos. Seriously, the premise alone is addictive: you catch your fiancé using his "hockey stick" on your best friend two days before your wedding, so what do you do? You take your daughter, run to your brother's house, and get under his three sinfully hot, off-limits best friends. I mean, talk about switching teams! This is the ultimate revenge plot, and it was a wild ride from the moment Tammy hit Colorado.

🥃 The Hat Trick Heroes: This "why choose" dynamic is exactly what I needed. Liam is the golden-boy charm, Luke is the grumpy twin who brings that delicious tension, and Cole is the quiet, protective anchor. They all carried a torch for Tammy since they were kids, so when the dam finally broke, the chemistry was hot, hot, hot. The author did a great job making you root for the four of them as a unit.
🥃 High Stakes Drama: This is more than just revenge smut (though there is plenty of that!). Tammy’s ex, Grayson, is a total douchecanoe who goes full villain, twisting the narrative online and even threatening to take their daughter, Maddie. That added genuine, high-stakes tension that made the happy ending feel earned, not just handed to them.
🥃 Found Family: Beneath the spice and the drama, this book is about resilience and finding people who will truly fight for you. The way the three guys rally around Tammy and Maddie to protect them from the outside world gave me all the feels.

What Made Me Side-Eye My Glass

🥃 The Velocity: This book moves at warp speed. While the pacing is great for action, the transition from revenge fun to unshakable, lifetime commitment felt a little rushed, especially given the chaos Tammy was escaping. I would have appreciated a bit more breathing room for the four of them to define the relationship amidst the hockey schedule.
🥃 Buddy's Reaction: I kept waiting for the brother, Buddy, to find out about his sister and his three best friends, but the setup was so dramatic, I felt like the actual moment was glossed over a little too easily.

She finds herself penniless at her brother's apartment, which he already shares with three of his friends and teammates.
Needing to find a job quickly to provide for her and her daughter, Maddie. Enrol Maddie in school and breakfast club, as well as having to deal with the online campaign, her jilted ex has started to cover his indiscretion and lies, painting himself as the victim. She is getting hit from each side. And to throw even more drama into her life, her brother's three best friends have always had a thing for Tammy, which eventually boils over to one wild night of fun.

Twins Luke and Liam, as well as Cole, have always kept how they felt for Tammy hidden since she is their best friend's sister. But seeing her upset with all that she is facing, throw in some alcohol for good measure, and good intentions fall by the wayside. Lines are crossed, feelings come to the fore, and they have to keep what they have done secret, so Buddy doesn't know what has happened, seeing as he warned them his sister was 'off limits'. Now Grayson is using Maddie, their daughter, as leverage in his campaign; they know that their relationship must be kept under wraps, so Tammy doesn't lose custody.

This book was definitely a page turner for me because I had to know what Grayson and Chelsea were plotting against Tammy aside from painting her in a bad light just to get custody of Maddie, so they could what playhouse? Chelsea stole her wedding dress, flowers, and the guy she was supposed to marry but Tammy dodged a bullet there. I'm happy that she got her happy ever after with Cole, Liam and Luke. I was rooting for them the whole time, but I'm glad she found her support system when to came to Maddie because she might as well have a been a single mom the entire time her and Grayson were together he didn't deserve her at all in all honesty. I'm very satisfied with this story and I read it pretty quickly because I needed to know how it ended. This book is also going to live rent free in my head for a while before I need to do a reread of it.
I was quite fond of Cole because he just gives off certain vibes because of the way he takes control of situations and knows exactly what Tammy needs before she knows what she needs. Liam and Luke both seem to know exactly what she's thinking without even voicing out loud what she's thinking and that is especially true when it comes to her finding out that she's pregnant with their baby even though the 3 guys don't even bother with paternity testing, but it's also probably because they don't care they got Tammy in the end. I could see her marrying one of them or just wearing all of their rings or even one ring with 3 different diamonds.

Tammy just had the worst day of her life. She finally discovered the real man behind her supposed boyfriend/fiancé of ten years, and father of her child, Grayson was a true scumbag. She also discovered that her supposed best friend was actually her worst enemy. What’s a girl to do? Go seek comfort from her brother Buddy, of course, in Colorado. While there, Tammy rediscovers her lifelong friendship with Buddy’s best friends: Liam, Luke, and Cole. Tammy really went through a LOT when she left Grayson and New Jersey, and the guys were there to support and help her. Along the way, Tammy, Liam, Luke and Cole fell in love and began a polyamorous relationship.

This was an emotionally challenging, hockey-heavy story that is about true friendship and found family. It is also a steamy, engaging drama with struggle, angst, tension, regrets, betrayal, and revenge. This book includes kidnapping and bullying, so consider this if these are triggers for you. As for me, I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more books from this author.

Cole, Liam, Luke all grew up with Tammy and Buddy and surprise surprise the three of them all had a thing for her since High school. What happens when you catch your slimy fiancé hockey stick deep in your best friend two days before your wedding? You sabotage the wedding and get the H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS out of dodge…just hope said cheating snake isn’t like this one because he pulled every trick in the book trying to make Tammy look CRAZY. Tess has repeatedly written books that I can’t put down, and then get mad at because I read them too fast and now, I want more lol xD anyway this book had me laughing my tushie (because there is a five-year-old around) off. Every time Tammy was knocked on her tushie–even when she wanted to curl up and cry–she got back up and pulled her big girl britches up and kept pushing ahead, after all what wouldn’t you do for your child?.

As reverse harem romances go, this one was fine—fast-paced, steamy, and packed with drama. I would have liked a bit more depth in how the relationship developed, since the progression felt a little rushed given the circumstances. Still, Tammy’s role as a competent mother really stood out, especially as she feared losing everything she held dear because of a twisted narrative painting her as the villain and her ex as the victim.

The story also does a solid job of showing how social media and legal systems can be manipulated by those who know how to “play the game,” raising the stakes beyond just romance. Thankfully, with the support of her brother’s best friends and those closest to her, Tammy fights back and shows the world who the real bad guy is.

A steamy, quick read with just enough heart and high-stakes drama to keep you turning the pages.

Who needs enemies when you have a backstabbing Ex-fiance and Ex-friend? Tammy (FMC) finds out that first hand when she finds out how sly, underhand and conniving they both were. All of which forced Tammy to take her daughter to stay with her hockey player brother. Unfortunately he shares his place with his 3 best friends and fellow hockey players - Liam, Luke & Cole. The 3 of them were friends with Tammy as well as crushes too. Close Proximity made feelings resurface for all of them but also cause more complications for Tammy. It also brought them all closer together.

I loved the relationship that they all had together. It was sweet and steamy as well as protective too. I liked how they all rallied around her and her daughter including Tammy's brother to back her against everything that was done to her with just heartwarming. An enjoyable read with characters I really liked.

She leaves and goes to stay with her brother and his three friends from childhood who also play on the same hockey team. Liam, Luke, and Cole have all had a thing for Tammy since they were younger, but never pursued it. Now all four of them are trying to get their happy ending while trying to protect her from her ex who is trying to make her look incompetent and unfit, while also trying to figure out how to make their relationship work and get their happy ending.

This is Tammy, Cole, Liam and Luke’s story. Tammy has a lot going on, a cheating ex, a backstabbing best friend, a custody battle with social media painting her in a horrible light, and three men that want her, and a protective brother determined to help. It took the guys a while to not get jealous of one another, until they could work as a team. Maddie is a sweet kid and brought the cuteness factor of the story. While they do win in the end, I couldn’t help but feel they could have combated the smear campaign, especially with the team lawyer. Overall, a good read.

The story was amazing and had you feeling all the emotions and made it hard to put down. It was heartbreaking, intense, inspiring, and just wonderful. All of the characters were amazingly developed. Romantic MMC’s (yes, plural 😉), a dedicated mother who needs to be appreciated and supported and a conniving cheater ex to give us a bad guy. While not believable in what could actually happen in the real world, the story takes us on a journey to, what if? And do we read to stay in the real world? Nope, we read to imagine the world where we don’t have to choose between three hot hockey players. Heartwarming and enjoyable.

Who doesn't love 3 gigantic closet cinnamon roll hockey hunks? And to see them slowly get to live out their secret dreams while standing as their dream girl's knights in fozen armour? Even better, she's full of snark, so the sparks REALLY fly when fire meets ice. Loved every second of it, even if I was ready to feed her ex to the zamboni from the get-go and check her brother into the boards a time or two along the way.

This is a really good story about Liam, Luke and Cole who are the best friends of Tammy Anderson’s brother Buddy. After walking in her best friend and fiancé getting it on, she contacts her brother, who invites her to come and stay with him. I loved the part when she asked the policeman who pulled her over to return her engagement ring to her ex fiancé. The story didn’t disappoint and I loved all of the characters involved and especially the happy ending.

The FMC finds herself in an impossible situation. The events that occur in this book really get complicated. Her unexpected support system was simply amazing. Hockey guys can be really funny. I found I was laughing so much at some of their antics. I loved all the main characters. The story was filled with a lot of drama and some jealousy. It moved along quite nicely and was easy to read. I loved it. I would definitely recommend this novel.

I wish this book had a little bit more one on one with each mc before jumping into the relationship with all 3 of them I felt like it would have made this book more interesting if she had more personal moments with them to begin with instead of it’s has to be all 3 of you at once or nothing. I also didn’t like the “play” talk for the dirty talk.

Why choose and brothers best friends are two of my fav tropes and Tess Chase did an awesome job with this book! I loved the push and pull between Tammy and the guys (Cole, Luke and Liam). I loved how they did all sorts of little things to look after her and her them. All the little interactions they had with Maddie completely melted me with ways they made an effort to connect with her.

I loved this book so much! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

This book is like hot chocolate. Hot, steamy and sweet. The plot was great. Exciting in parts with cute bits to make you swoon in others. All of the characters are really well written and fleshed out enough for you to get a real sense of each of their personalities. I loved their story and I'm hoping Buddy gets a book next as I want him to get his happy ending now.

If you enjoy drama, spice, angst, ott protective mmc’s who fell/fall again head over heels for the fmc & her daughter then this book is for you. The characters are amazing, by the second chapter you will get invested to the point you can’t put the book down.
Tess’ writing style & character/world building is always on top. Her books never disappoint. I highly recommend reading this book & all her others. They’re amazing.

Loved the story. Tammy leaves her fiance the night before her wedding and moves into her brothers apartment with his friends, Luke, Liam and Cole. She grew up will all the men and she finds herself attracted to all three, but they struggle with the situation. To make it more interesting, Tammy has a five year old. This book is full of strong emotions, drama and happy ending.

DNF at 20%. Okay, I get it is a hockey reverse harem romance but I could not handle all the hockey puns on each page! We get it, they play hockey; just say fuck not puck! Also the fmc came off as really unlikable and bitchy. Seemed like a neglectful mom right from the start, her daughter was like an after thought and the names were so cringe. Overall, not a fan of this one. Maybe I'll try something else from this Author but this was was just not it for me.
