A classic western novel from Frank Wheeler with non-stop epic adventure and a blend of western romance
Former bounty hunter Teague Nashville thought he’d left blood and vengeance behind. But when a wagon train under his protection is ambushed, he’s dragged into a war with Ignacio Cortez, an outlaw chief with who’s ready to choke the territory with fear and fire.
If Cortez wants a fight, Teague is willing to give it.
And he won’t have to do it alone.
His partner Blake Mallory has kept him alive more times than he can count. But even the strongest friendship is tested when the odds are this long, and some battles can’t be won with bullets alone.
When Maria Becerra, the woman Teague once loved, gets caught in the crossfire of Cortez’s campaign, Teague finds himself facing a different kind of battle. With her is a young son, and together they force him to confront the life he walked away from, and the future he never believed he deserved.
At Ghost Creek, where dynamite is set into the canyon walls and rifles wait in the shadows, Teague must reckon with loyalty, regret, and the high price of redemption. Will Teague finally lay his past to rest, or bury the people he loves beneath it?
Each novel in the series is a standalone western which can be read out of order.
