I wasn't interested in this book after reading the synopsis but I'm now glad that I picked it up. Other than around the 65% mark when the amnesia got to be a bit tedious to deal with, I liked this one.
Aiden and Noe have loved one another for a long time but machinations by Aiden's father have kept them apart. They grew up together, she with Aiden, his brothers Tristan and Ethan, and her twin sister who didn't live with them. The book starts when they reconnect at Noe's bedside after a car accident took her memories. She doesn't know who she is only that her husband has been at her bedside the entire time she's been hospitalized.
Aiden takes Noe home to their secluded country estate, but she remains distrustful of him. For his part, Aiden is loving and treats Noe like she's precious, but he's also possessive and protective. Noe doesn't feel like she's living her real life in a home she doesn't recognize. As Noe starts getting some of her memories back, she falls for Aiden based on those pleasant memories and how he treats her. But then Noe starts recovering some of the not so good memories, snippets of incidents that make her suspicious of Aiden, particularly when he doesn't add up. Noe is also upset because one of her memories is of being angry with Aiden for cheating on her. To make matters more complex, Aiden is not supposed to tell Noe anything about herself to avoid creating false memories per doctor's orders, but as time goes on, his plan to keep Noe to himself starts to unravel. Especially his biggest lie that she's his wife Noelle.
Eventually, every truth is revealed and we understand several things that have cropped up in Noe's memories. Noe's real name is Noelani and her twin is Noelle who is who Aiden actually married. Noelle wanted Aiden but he was head over heels for Noelani since they first met. Noelle was willing to be a real wife to Aiden at grandfather's urging and climbed in bed with him one night pretending to be her sister when Aiden was drunk. Aiden didn't have sex with Noelle ever but it was the perfect setup for Noelani to walk in on. The end of the book gives us the reality, that Noelani knew it all along but had to pretend so that people she loved wouldn't get hurt. All the while, Noelani was planning to get Aiden back once her contract ended with grandfather.
I really liked how gone Aiden was for Noelani and she him once her memories returned. Despite the manipulation, each was still devoted to the other and were plotting ways to stay together anyway.

this book was interesting yes. but way too damn long if we got rid of some of these scenes or maybe chopped the book into series i would have enjoyed this better but watching characters do mudane task every chaper gets to a point of insanity

Good read
A lot was going on in this story. Aiden was totally obsessed with Noe and was willing to do anything to keep her. Noe, on the other hand, suffered tremendously but still kept her deep love for Aiden. Their lives were not their own, and it took a lot of maneuvering to get back to each other. The author took her time detailing the twists and turns of this convoluted story, but 75% into the plot, things started falling apart. The last few chapters dragged on unnecessarily and ended anticlimactically.

Kidnapping me please
WOW you don't want to past this book up not this one it's the cherry at the top! It totally blew all of my expectations! Aidan is the main male character and his love for Noe (Noelani ) is just amazing. Yes, he's one of the boss of bosses, but when it comes to his woman, you see a different side to him.!! Their relationship just touches your heart but also be prepared for some heartbreak, love, and sizzling hot passion. Noelani ( Noe) aka Mist is a Watch-dog leader, she has been raised to be a Killer who is Never weak, Never showing her vulnerable side and to stand by the leader and be his right-hand lady. I really enjoyed the suspense with all of the twists of this couple's relationship. Even the villains of this story are captivating along with the secondary characters. Plus OMG the ending is just freaking amazing!!! It's one of the best I have ever enjoyed, I don't wanna give away to much but I do like when they finally find their love for each other is freaking epic!!!! This book is wonderful another awesome story to read. If you have read this author books before then you will get caught up with old friends, Overall, this is a absolute masterpiece. I absolutely recommend it and I'm hoping this isn't the end but only the beginning of a series that I can't wait to get lost in the pages. Again I Absolutely Recommend this book!

Lust and Lies (AMBW Romance) - A Must-Read for Cuddle Up Weekend
Absolute page turner that delivers on every front. I devoured this AMBW romance, and it came just in time for a perfect weekend of curling up with a great book. If you're looking for a compelling story with layers of intrigue and plenty of heat, look no further I highly recommend this one!
The beginning instantly drew me in, setting a high-stakes tone that the author maintained throughout. The plot was masterfully woven, blending romance with a significant dose of suspense. I found myself emotionally invested, giggling at the sweet moments and even tearing up a little as the story unfolded. The ending was strong and satisfying, bringing the narrative to a fantastic close.
And for those who love a good romance, let me just say the steamy scenes were definitely steamy! The chemistry between the leads sizzles, making those intimate moments a highlight of the book.
The only small note I have is regarding the use of AAVE. While it made perfect sense for the female lead as her character and backstory developed, it sometimes felt harsh and slightly out of place coming from the male lead. However, this is a minor critique that didn't detract from my overall enjoyment.

A long read
You know I adore your books Ms. Allen. But... I have to admit the first part of the story was sooooo long! I know Mia had forgotten her memories but you moved from her suspicion of Adrian in.The same day as sleeping with him. Again although the love scenes were.hot.After a while they became a little boring. Things really started.to heat up when we reached half way through the book when Noa's memories started to come back and both the reader and the female. protagonist started to piece together her life more clearly. That's when it brightened up for me and we began to realise who the real villain is. So it earned itself a 4* I know.you wanted to show how much Adrian loved No a but his strategy may not have been the right way. Great read especially the second half of the book!!

This was a rollercoaster ride! Up and down, deep plunges, sharp turns and wild twists! Aiden was a savage who’s willing to risk it all to have the one that he loved.
Noe had amnesia, but once she regains them - Mist unlocked!
This was such a well written story. As the story unfolds we begin to see the masks slip, the plan has holes and cracks are exposed in the characters deceitful plan. The plot was plotting! I was locked in needing to know what would happen next, what secret was revealed, the fact vs the lie, the true villain and their plan emerges.
What lengths are willing to go through to protect the only family you’ve ever known? How important is the mission? How much would you sacrifice for love?

Worth The Wait!
I'd been anticipating this release and it did not disappoint. The story sucked me in straight from the begining and never lost momentum. I love a fierce FMC and Noelle was definitely that. She woke up in a hospital with amnesia and her fist balled, ready for anything! Her mind may have been telling her not to trust Aiden, the MMC, but her body...😜 These two had amazing chemistry and an intense connection. The secrets, lies, and the truth about Noelle's memories added an element of suspense that made this story that much more exciting to read. I definitely recommend reading this if you're a fan of romantic suspense with strong heroines.

“Woman, I’d run through fire to get to you.”
I love this sequel and the recap with Julian. They had a crazy kind of love but it worked for them. You know this is only fictional because I couldn’t find a man like Aiden if I tried. The way he loved Noe and I’m not talking just sexually ( though that man is a beast) but he truly loved her. I would love to read Seo-Jin story, since I’m sure Tristan and Ethan has one coming. Sometimes family isn’t what it’s cracked up to be and we have to just roll with the punches!!!! BUT damn can they get a break. Great job M.A, this was well worth the wait!!!!!

Amnesia, Second Chance at Love, and Huge Twists
This book was sooo good. This one is a definite must read. M’Renee Allen did an amazing job with this book. Noe and Aiden are soulmates who refused to give up on there happily ever after…and stayed loyal to one another. Their chemistry and love story was off the charts. This amnesia storyline was the best one I’ve read and the twists had my mind blown. I was loving every minute of it. I happened to just come across this book and I’m so glad that I did 🔥

I read this book because of the reviews. I read so many books and have been having a hard time finding any really good books. The reviews let me know there would be plenty of twists and turns. I loved trying to figure out everything before it was revealed. I am proud to say I guessed pretty early on about the surprised siblings. Loved this book and will be going through this author's catalog to find more good reads. Loved the way this book was written.

You know what hellll yhhhhhh!! This book was soo unconventional with the twists and turns and genuinely had you thinking this was messy asf but honestly I was all here for it. I absolutely loved how crazy Noe and Aidan were together. Like who doesn’t like when the mfc is a baddie.
Happy I stuck it out even though the 600+ pages were daunting, it didn’t feel like it. I will say though that the story was quite descriptive in some respects which dragged out the reading experience, but overall it was a good story with a solid plot twist.

A rollercoaster of emotions and hot, sexy love…
This book was sooo freaking good! I love Aiden and Noe so much and they had me on the edge of my seat. It got so intense at times I had to take a break because I was afraid I’d get sad or something bad would happen to them. Every emotional high and low were so worth it. I highly recommend this novel and I hated saying goodbye to our lovers and the other characters as well. I love Ms. Allen’s work! A+++

So glad I picked this book up. M’Renee Allen is a new author for me and I was attracted to this book because it is an AMBW romance. I was not ready for the twist and turns. And twist and turns there were! The characters are a little twisted, but so am I. And there’s nothing wrong with it! The sexy scenes are sexy, the petty is petty, and the snarky is snarky. Loved it!

Obsessed men who would do anything for their wives is a guilty pleasure of mine and Aiden park did not disappoint me, this book was so freaking good I couldn't put it down.
The twists and turns the story pacing and the character development all chef kiss!!! Ughhhh perfect, and our fmc Neo she matched the Mmc freak 10 out of 10 ( glad to see an unhinged fmc with a good writing)

Love Lost and Found
This love story definitely took me on an unexpected journey. The ups and downs, twists and turns had me all in my feelings. I was in a love-hate relationship with this book. I wanted to hurry up and finish it, but then I would get to an overwhelming part, and I would put the book down to regroup. This book had me all in my feelings. You will definitely enjoy it. Buckle up it will take you on a bumpy road. 😉

Amnesia Bliss
I loved the possession and lust they had for each other. The twists and turns and lies keep you on the edge of your seat. I almost didn’t want the book to end, but it had a great ending that revealed even more about the past and the intention. I highly recommend reading this book.

Another Winner!
I was to ready to skip to the last chapter to read what happened then go back to the beginning but, I held off and read the book in order. Man even amnesia Noelani was no joke. You can't pick your family however, you sure as hell can kick them to the curb. As usual... Well done and Allen!

soooooo good!!!!
This was my introduction to this author and I am definitely looking forward to reading more from Ms. Allen! The story was a bit of slow burn with enough intrigue in every chapter to keep me wanting more. I fell in love with the characters and how she slowly unfolded each layer to reveal my favorite kind of ending… a HEA!

I liked it
I liked how intense each main character was. I really enjoyed the Black girl attitude. It was funny how both characters knew homegirl (mfc) was “petty.” Cracked me,up,with their sexy banter and mentally calling each other out with …”this motherfucker.” Writing was funny.

Heck Yeah!
This is my first time reading this author's work. The twists in this story were amazingly well written and the spicy scenes were to die for. I am definitely putting more of this author's books on my read list. I highly recommend this title and couldn't put it down, even at work.

Crazy, sexy, cool.
May this kind of love kidnap me (sans the stick in the side part). She's a woman with very particular skills... and his fine ass is OBSESSED. This book is funny, thrilling and *detailed*. The banter was witty. The drama is twisted and I resonate with the anti-heroine. I really liked the ending!

wow 🤯
I absolutely loved this book it was so good. This had me guessing all the way through. I was suspicious about everything I didn’t know what the truth was and it had emotion and yearning like you wouldn’t believe. I didn’t want it to end I was so enthralled and obsessed. I recommend
I absolutely loved this book it was so good. This had me guessing all the way through. I was suspicious about everything I didn’t know what the truth was and it had emotion and yearning like you wouldn’t believe. I didn’t want it to end I was so enthralled and obsessed. I recommend

This is a different story, not the typical series of events. It is oddly constructed, which is the reason I finished it, but I wouldn't recommend it to another reader. You are never drawn in to the feelings of a character in the story. All in all it remains too surface to really enjoy.

This was my first read from this author. I was so into this book that I binged read. I totally loved the story didn't know what to expect but every page was so intriguing. Totally loved the writing and characters.

Surprising Thriller Ending
Excellent work by the author. Along with the intense erotic scenes, she gives the reader plot twists that read like a spy novel. If you like the non traditional HEA with a heavy dose of surprise, this is a MUST READ.

What can I say, this was very much worth the read.. It had Trauma, drama, angst, spice and gave you all the feels you're looking for.. Oh yeah and big deception.. Love the side characters and hope Tristen an Ethan get their stories as well...

I am definitely a fan of M'Renee Allen's books. Her characters always come to life and invite you into their crazy stories. These two are no different. I was on the edge of my seat 100% for their love to prevail. If you're looking for a captivating love story, then this is for you.
