Maximilian Kolbe: No greater love

Rate this book
Pope John Paul II has referred to his fellow countryman, Maximilian Kolbe, as a patron for our difficult century. It was a apt description for this deeply spiritual, heroic Franciscan priest, who in living the Gospel built vast publishing network, worked for years in the missions, faced down the evils of Nazism and Communism, and who finally gave his life for another in the death camp at Auschwitz in 1941. Forty-one years later, in October 10, 1982, he would be declared St. Maximilian Kolbe.
