When Cassandra received the call about her father’s sudden death, she left New York City and headed back to the ranch in Alabama where she grew up. Having been estranged from her father for years she had hoped to never return. Alabama was in her past and that was where she meant for it to stay. Her intentions were to quickly take care of the details of her father’s estate, sell the ranch and return back to New York City where she belonged.
Matt, the sexy ranch foreman had other ideas. He was furious at Cassandra for trying to dump the ranch and fire all of the ranch hands. He didn’t plan to make it easy on her to ditch her responsibilities and head back to New York.
Heated sparks fly between them but will it be enough to convince her to give up her life and everything she loves in New York City?
Good story with interesting characters, filled with self discovery and humor, with a sweet ending. The need for editing is the reason for two instead of three stars.
This is a sexy hot story with added humor, self discovery and a great ending. Adrianna is new to the business world and wants to learn from her new boss. He wants to teach her the tricks of the trade professional and since he is very attracted to her want to teach her sexually. I loved how Liam was not only infatuated with Adrianna but protective, possessive and caring. I have really enjoyed this series. I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.
Update: This book is no longer available on Amazon. I know this book has good reviews, but I found myself skimming the pages in the hope that I would care about what was happening. There wasn't any chemistry between the He/Her. The sex scenes were blah, at best. I couldn't even force myself to finish, as I could care less if they ended up together. You've read this book before.
This was a very good nice evenly paced romance. It was short and to the point hitting all the high notes. The chemistry between the two main characters is exactly what you would like in an adult situation. Very well worth the time.
The only reason I decided to read it was because it was set in Alabama. The story was so slow. The chemistry between Cassandra and Matt was non-existent.
