Ex Ops #2.5

Mission Delivery

Rate this book
*Previously published in the back of Ice, Regulators MC #1. This is a short story that should be read after both Secret Maneuvers and Stripping Her Defenses in the Ex Ops Series.*

Bobby Baker is a man with new lease on life.

He is engaged to his high school sweetheart, and he is bonding with the fourteen year old son he wasn’t aware of a little less than a year ago.

But there’s more. The love of his life is pregnant with their second child. This time, he’ll be there to witness the birth of one of his children instead of missing out on it.

Or will he?

Belle unexpectedly goes into labor a month early while Bobby is coming off a mission half a world away. Will he be able to make it home in time for the birth of his second child?

Or will he miss this delivery, too?

What I liked:
1. Humor
2. Bobby Baker
3. Jaxon Wall and the way he talks to his guys...especially Baker.
4. Having all of the crew together.
5. Teagan and Baker's exchange of words in the hospital.

What bothered me:
1. Belle being a nut job during delivery. I know I wasn't like that when I was in severe labor. I've never heard of anyone I know act that crazy stupid. It could happen, I suppose, but to me it sounds ridiculous when I read about it.
2. The nurse and her exorcism comments or her private part comment. Really? I find those moments highly unbelievable.

I was pulled right into this short story. The story has laughs, love, and crazy times.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Secret Maneuvers (Ex Ops #1)
Stripping Her Defenses (Ex Ops, #2)

This is more of Belle and Bobby’s story. Bobby is determined to be at the birth of his second child. He missed the first one and no one will keep him from this one. Belle is super funny during the birth and Bobby takes it like a champ. You know right away he will be a great dad.

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Very sweet novella

I like getting the details of the Belle giving birth and everything surrounding it. Teagan is such a mystery. Jaxon is becoming more interesting to me too.

This is a very short story to continue the book Secret Maneuvers. Bobby Bake is out on a mission and just wrapping it up when he gets word that Belle has gone into Labor. Bobby promised Belle that he would never miss this birth like he missed the first one of his son. Lots of action, trying to get there in time before the baby comes. Great follow up. Recommend.

Great little short story.
Bobby is on the final mission to save the sex slave women when a coded phone call lets him know Belle has gone into early labour.
Fun times with Belle being very inventive with her curses. But very sweet when Willow makes her safe appearance.
A few issues with side characters happen.

I finished this book. I read this after read the first one to see what happen as he was gone on a mission only to be finishing up on said mission to receive word that he was about to become a father. He was hoping that he could make it back in time to see his child born and he did. In the end they all were very happy. I enjoyed reading this book I will keep reading this series.

Mission Delivery (Ex Ops book 2.5)
By Jessie Lane

This is a short and sweet book of Bobby Baker and his wife Belle waiting to welcome their second child. First he has to rush home from a Russian op and get there in time for him to see their daughter born. Belle makes several comments in the midst of labor that may make Bobby think hard and long about have any more children but they are funny and the story ends with the birth of little Willow.

.

This is a great follow up novella to the first two books in the series. I have to admit, I did a lot of laughing with this one. Something that definitely didn't happen with the series.

Novella conclusion

Novella conclusion to a great storyline of Belle Roberts and Bobby Baker. All the previous characters of Secret Maneuvers ( Ex ops 1) are present. Super short so borrow it.

The beginning of the book was sad with the missionary they were on, but he made it back to the states because Belle went into early labor. After that, I laughed my rear off. I've heard stories, but Belle took it to the extreme. You won't be disappointed. HEA.

a short sweet read but it didn't have a lot to add to the series. gave a bit more depth to Bobby and Belle's story and set up some of the details for later stories. enjoyed it, of course.

I love the Ex Ops series. The characters have become friends to me and I care about their happiness. When Jessie Lane offered me a copy of Mission Delivery I was so excited. I had missed these characters and were excited to get a glimpse into their lives and see what was happening. This was a short story, but it gave me an update.

I love Bobby and Belle. They have gone through so much. They deserve a happy life. This glimpse into what was happening was just enough to confirm that they are still happy. The labor scene made me laugh. Bobby was understanding and took it all like the man he is, while Belle let him know exactly what she was thinking. Then the baby was here and Bobby was the sweetest daddy ever. I knew he would be, but loved seeing it. I cannot wait for more about Teagan. There has to be a good story in her future.

I recommend checking out this entire series, starting with Secret Maneuvers, followed by Stripping Her Defense, then Mission Delivery, and coming soon Sweet Recovery.

OMG I have never laughed so dang hard. This book was a short and very sweet wrap up to Bobby and Belle's HEA PLUS it also might be helping to set the stage for Dec and Teagan's story.

Essentially Bobby is on mission when he finds out that Belle went into labor early. The whole story is him flying home to be there for the birth of his daughter.

The labor scene with everything that Belle was screaming at Bobby was soooo funny. I was laughing out loud through that entire part. Then the tender moments when Bobby is spening time alone with his daughter was precious. I will say that Bobby and Teagan talking was pretty awesome. I want to know so much more about that firey red head and what is going on in her brain!!!

Special Delivery for Bobby & Belle!!!

Beautiful lil interim story on the Ex Ops bad boys as Bobby makes sure he is at his daughters birth. Having missed Seth's birth (and 15 years) it was extra touching how he has a man meltdown while trying to reach Belle at the hospital & then the emotions he's goes through after baby Willow enters the world. Very lumpy throat moments when he sees her for the first time & honestly made me want to be Belle even more.

Loved seeing the rest of the crew too, no matter how small a slice & I can't truly wait for Declan & Tiegans story!!! I just know Jessie is gonna make me bawl my eyes out !!

For me, this book was more than worth the read as it provides another perfect building block to the next installment of my bad boys.

I love a good continuation story of a couple in a series. Jessie Lane brought back Bobby and Belle along with some of the other characters. One moment you are cheering for Bobby and the other moment you are telling him to watch out. I laughed during this story because I could picture these two exchanging the words. There are sweet moments and some moments that are unforgettable. I am really enjoying this series. I love this short story of Bobby and Belle.

Not to poke fun at child delivery as I am a mother myself and understand everything Belle went through, but this was funny as hell! What I didn't understand was the excorsim comment made by the nurse...that was just weird since a woman in labor should be something those nurses should be used to..

What's intriguing me the most in this series is Teagan...what exactly is her deal?

Nice to fill in the blanks

A great little story that fills in the blanks about Belle and Bobby. Theirs is a love story that spans almost two decades and still manages to hold your interest. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Short, sweet novella.

Will Bobby make it back in time to see his wife delivery their daughter?

Can't wait to see how Declan breaks down Teagan's walls, and how she turns him into a one woman man =)

Good

I enjoyed this book and if you love military romance then this is a must read. It's not meant to be read as a standalone but it's a good novella.
