A quick read with truths that can help heal. It's a reminder that in the darkest moments of parenting, you are not alone. Being a parent is just one dimension of who we are. I did not do the exercises/journals at the end of each chapter but some may find it useful depending on where they are on the journey to heal. Without the excercises, the book is even shorter. However, I did enjoy it because it helped validate my choices which led to an improved relationship and reconciliation without guilt.
