One night. A fake name. No numbers exchanged. A Christmas they’ll never forget…
Christmas is meant to be full of love and laughter, but not for Kennedy-Noelle or Beckett. Being single on Christmas Eve isn’t the greatest start to the holidays.
But when a stolen cab and a broken-down train leaves them stranded together, misery turns into something reckless and electric. Their connection is instant, their chemistry undeniable. One unforgettable night later, they part ways without names or numbers.
Fate, however, has other plans…
One Christmas night with you is book one in a collection of Novella’s. An Age gap, military, one night stand, strangers to lovers romance that will leave you wanting more.
If you want a festive novella with plenty of banter, a bit of brattiness & a load of spice then this is the book for you!
Kennedy & Beckett are brought together on one of the worst days of their lives.
Kennedy is a live wire, unpredictable to Beckett & he can’t help but lusting after her. To Kennedy, Beckett is a miserable old man who knocks purses onto the floor & steals taxis.
When they both find each other on the same train on Christmas Eve, the banter between the pair & discovering the day each of them has had thaws them a bit.
But when the train is cancelled in a small town due to weather, they lose sight of each other, only to find each other again at the bar is the nearest hotel. Beckett becomes mesmerises by Kennedy, & the feeling is mutual!
They promise each other one night of fun - & boy does Beckett deliver!
This is a one night stand romance; with age gap, forced proximity & he’s in the military.
I swear, I closed the book and just sat there like: That’s it? THAT’S IT? I am the tiniest bit feral right now because this was not long enough. I needed more Beckett. I was practically on my knees waiting for the next scene, and NL really looked at us and said, “Here’s a taste,” then snatched the whole thing back. Tease
I devoured this and left not one single crumb. Beckett? Good. Lord. The man spoke and my internal organs reorganised themselves getting ready for him. The things that came out of this man’s mouth had my knees buckling. The banter between him and Noelle was everything. I’m begging the universe for one night in her shoes. Just one. Im not greedy. But the growly possessiveness gave me all the flutters.
The way he rose to (no pun intended) the three times in one night challenge and then obliterated it. Ok, maybe ill be greedy..
Noelle was a queen. Sharp, sassy and laugh out loud funny from page one. NL never misses with her FMCs. And she gave us age gap?! Loved everything about this.
Seriously not above begging for more at this point!?
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Cute and quick holiday romance read. As someone who doesn't often read romance I surprised myself by giving this 4 stars!
In less then 100 pages I was left feeling so many things. Anger, lust, sadness, relief, and worst of all... longing.
I was not prepared for this book to be over when it was. I wanted more! I wanted to see them through to their happily ever after. I 100% want to read book 2.
The drama, the funny banter, the dual POV, and each of their stories makes for a wonderful time. With how great the plot was, I wouldn't have even noticed any of the spice missing if it wasn't included.
Not many books catch me on the first page but this one done it for me. I highly recommend picking this one up before the year is over. Thank you to the author for letting me experience this story.
Such a fun festive novella. Read in just over an hour, I had lots of fun with this one.
Banter from both the FMC & MMC Brat vibe from FMC, Dom vibes from the delicious MMC, all while still being a sweetheart. ‘Forced’ proximity Insta list/love
FMC Kennedy is a fun young woman dealing with a sudden breakup, when she meets MMC Beckett who is coincidentally also dealing with a sudden breakup and they both have had enough when they literally crash into each others lives multiple times in a single day.
This was a short but so fun little Christmas novella. As always NL amore delivers a great story.
Beckett and Kennedy-Noelle meet on the same day when both their lives are turned upside down by their significant others. And throughout the day they continuing bumping into one another and never in the best way, they get off on the wrong foot several times, but fate or the universe definitely wants them in each other’s orbit especially for Christmas.
The banter between them is fantastic. The atmosphere between them is tense, but there definitely Flirtation and attraction between them, and the chemistry is written perfectly l.
They end up getting stuck at the same hotel and because misery loves company, they spend Christmas Eve together, which leads to one night together….and I won’t say anymore because of spoilers.
But this book was fun, it had Christmas feels and it was written amazingly. And the characters were fantastic, very excited to see more from Beckett and Kennedy- Noelle
A Christmas Novella written by one of my favourite authors? I jumped at the chance to read this ARC and boy did it deliver!
Kennedy and Beckett are brought together on Christmas Eve both of them having a bad day. What followed was so much banter and had me hooked.
Kennedy, the younger sister of Kate from the Always & Forever series is such a strong, sassy, live wire of a 23 year old. I loved her witty comebacks to Beckett and her sassy confidence she had.
Beckett, an ex marine (who served with Noah, Jack, Harry & Brad from the Always & Forever series) who now has his own security firm, at 35 he thought he had his life figured out until he had the worst day and then he met Kennedy who turned his life upside down.
I loved the chemistry between these two, the banter and the Christmas vibes. I absolutely loved reading this novella and wish there was more of it! Roll on November 2026!
Thank you N L Amore for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC you never fail to give me everything I’m looking for in a book!
What a novella!! I adore N.L. Amore’s writing! This novella had me hooked, I loved our main characters, a one night stand with a handsome older man.. I’m sold immediately!! I could’ve read a whole book about these two! The chemistry between them was undeniable 🤭
The way I was giggling, kicking my feet to jaw dropping! This! Was! So! Good! A man down bad will always be delicious to me 😮💨 my girl Kennedy deserves all the love!! I was screaming for her! This was such a fun read, I went through all the emotions and all I’m going to say is.. THAT ENDING !!!!!!! I adored seeing my faves again, that was so special, I’m a sucker for a Christmas novella and this hit the spot 🫶🏼

A spicy little Christmas novella. This is a nice quick read and had me giggling. The banter – chefs kiss.
One night of fun was all it is meant to be…… The characters were lovable with a sassy and confident bratty FMC and grumpy MMC but sweet for you only vibes. Both characters were dealing with relationship breakdowns when they cross paths (multiple times). Destiny? Maybe.
I did not want this book to end. I can not wait for the next instalment as I need more…..
This is a one night stand romance, with age gap, forced proximity and military.
I was so invested in this and OMG that cliffhanger ending! Fast paced, it dives straight in to the story and has lots pf spice. Do people come into our lives for a reason? Beckett certainly did with Kennedy! Kennedy was a little annoying to start with in her bratty moments but as her character developed and we got to know her better and she was actually quite sweet. Beckett was the perfect gentleman and I felt sorry for him when Kennedy made presumptions. It has left me wanting so much more which is why don’t always like short stories but I was happy to see that there will be another book to carry their story on next year!
I received this book as an ARC in return for an honest review.
3.5/5 ⭐️rounded up! 🌶️🌶️/5
This was such a fun, short read. I enjoyed both Beckett and Kennedy’s characters. They were polar opposites that fit together beautifully. The storyline provided a great buildup for their relationship and I can’t wait to read more of their story next year (so far away 😭).
I loved this book, it was everything I needed from a novella, great plot, great characters and spice. The book follows Beckett and Kennedy who on the run up to Christmas experience nothing but bad luck until after a few drinks Beckett decides to prove to Kennedy that 3 or more orgasms in one night is perfectly normal and doable. I do have questions though… what is a mahogany cake and why do I have to wait until next year for the next book!
This was a great one 🤩 10/10 banter, loveable characters, great plot line, and the spice was spicing. I absolutely love Kennedy’s take no shit attitude, and Beckett’s willingness to go to the ends of the earth for her. This story packed a lot into a hundred pages, but it is written well, and the cliffhanger has me 😮💨😮💨
This was a really good story. They both had something bad happen to them the day before Christmas. They end up meeting on the train and spending that evening together. Then 11 months later they run into each other again.
Finding each other after heartbreak This was an enjoyable quick read set around Christmastime. Both Beckett and Kennedy have quite a few chance meetings that turn from angry confrontations, then to lots of flirting and finally a night together that neither could forget. Could this lead to more for both of them? I enjoyed the quick pace of this steamy at times story plus the characters and the happy for now ending.
Received this as an ARC read and I loved it! I loved the banter in the beginning between Kennedy & Beckett. It was such a nice quick little read to get into the holiday spirit 🥰 butttttttt I don’t wanna wait another year to find out what happens. I NEED MORE!!
I was instantly swept up in the story of Kennedy, and Beckett. Their short enemies to lovers swoon worthy day, and intense night was so much fun, and spicy as sin.
Love Ben and Kevin, top tier banter❤️
I cannot believe I have to wait a YEAR for their story to continue, once again my girl has written another mmc who makes me feel ways only she can write.
Oh, I really enjoyed this one! Some short stories feel so rushed and excuse the pun short but this one didn't feel like that! It had the plot, the lovable characters, the spice and much more!
Want a fun, short, steamy Christmas novella?? Well you’ve come to the right book!
Kennedy and Beckett are so hot…well and cold to each other 😉. After multiple run ins with each other they end up deciding to have a little Christmas Eve fun, but then a misunderstanding ends up ruining that Christmas for both of them. Don’t worry though they figure it out like always!
If you like: 🔥Age Gap 🔥One Night Stand 🔥Banter 🔥Military Romance 🔥Forced Proximity 🔥Hate to Lovers
Then you definitely should check out this novella!!
One Christmas Night With You is a festive novella that follows Kennedy-Noelle and Beckett, two strangers brought together by chance on Christmas Eve when travel mishaps leave them stranded together. With a stolen cab and a broken-down train forcing them to share the long night, their misery turns into something reckless and undeniable. A single night of passion, chemistry that sizzles, and fake names exchanged set the stage for a holiday encounter that might not be so fleeting after all.
💬 Review (Spoilers Ahead!)
Christmas Eve doesn’t usually start with a broken-down train and fate introducing you to a stranger… but that’s exactly where Kennedy-Noelle and Beckett find themselves. What I loved about One Christmas Night With You is how it takes a classic holiday trope - a chance meeting that feels meant to be - and leans into it with confidence. The connection between the pair is immediate and electric, and the author wastes no time letting that chemistry unfold.
Their one night together is fiery and passionate, but what makes it feel more than just a fleeting spark is the way both characters open up beneath the surface. There’s an age-gap element and a military undertone woven in, which adds depth to their dynamic and hints at lives beyond that snowy night. The novella’s brevity is part of its charm; it moves fast, feels intensely romantic, and still leaves you wanting just a little more.
This isn’t your typical sugary Christmas read; it’s steamy, bold, and wrapped in festive magic that lingers past the last page. If you love strangers-to-lovers with holiday heat and an undercurrent of something lasting beneath the surface, this one delivers exactly what it promises.
⭐ Rating: 3.5/5 🌶 Spice: 3/5 — electric chemistry condensed into a hot, unforgettable night 💔 Tropes: Strangers to lovers • One Christmas night • Age gap • Holiday heat 🎄 Vibe: Festive, passionate, and destined to make you swoon
I’m so grateful to have received an ARC of this Christmas novella! Both Kennedy and Beckett have had a pretty rough day, and a few hours later they’re sitting on a train, total strangers whose paths suddenly cross — and the banter and tension between them is 🔥. When the snow causes an unexpected overnight delay (oh no… what a shame 😜), things get even more interesting. Add in the fact that they’ve both given fake names, he’s older, and he’s promising her more than the “one” she’s used to — if you know, you know 😜.
This was cheeky, fast-paced, and I absolutely devoured every second of it! My only complaint? It wasn’t long enough 😂. And that ending… honestly, give me more! 😂🥰🔥 I absolutely love N.L. Amore’s writing style everything she writes is unreal, and I will not hear otherwise 😂.
