Accidental abduction? Purposeful deception. This book is literally a romanticized sexual assault story. FMC knows that MMC thinks he's fucking his ex, yet she keeps her mask on so that he won't stop, literally deception. MMC is also an idiot who doesn't even notice the difference between his sisters friend he knows since she was 10, and his girlfriend of 4 years.
I am fine with a lot of shit in books (with obvious exceptions) because they're not real, and so far in all the "dark" books I've read, any dubious moment was afterall not dubious. This one drew the line for me.
Yes the blurb says that he abducts the wrong person, but I interpreted that as "he soon realises it's FMC and comes to the conclusion it's her who he wanted", not that she won't tell/he won't know until AFTER they have sex.
Besides that, the book is just sex sex sex and misogony. The book is written in a juvenile way with stupid sex jokes and very exaggerated moments that would never happen IRL.
FMC is a bitch, MMC is a misognystic asshole and they deserve eachother. Peace out.

Nonexistent. The “connection” is just lust and fully built on the above mentioned deception. After 3 days they are in love with eachother. It's absolutely laughable cause the only thing they did was have sex & trash talk his ex, after FMC used MMC's blindness to finally get him for herself. Somehow even MMC is the one apologizing to FMC for not asking for consent, when she is the one who deceived him willingly?? Anyways apparently he doesn't give a shit cause after like 5 seconds of shock he decides he wants to fuck FMC again and he's totally forgotten about his ex who he was trying to impress just the day before? They get together, trash talk his ex some more and woohoo we get a happy ending.

Explicit, open door. As i mentioned 2 times already this book is romanticized sexual assault. FMC willingly lets MMC believe he is fucking his ex-gf. We can't give her "the benefit of the doubt" because her monologue is literally about how she doesn't want him to find out that it's her behind the mask and not his ex. Anyways, if you are fine with that; there are like 4 sex scenes. The 1st one being the chase one with the wrong person, and knowing that he's being deceived made the scene veeeeryyyy uncomfortable to read, and on top of that it was soo long. There are also way too many tropes trying to be met; spanking, spitting, biting, chase kink, mask kink, daddy kink, tying up, suddenly she is the dom, etc. It was so bad.
Then there is the fact that this woman who is apparently so sex-forward, calls it her lady parts! excuse me???
