Hmmm.... I wasn't sure what Sawyer would do after the end of the first read. So much going on in such a short amount of time, but real feelings did grow from those encounters. But now what?
I was happy that Kareem reached out, but after learning Sawyer's news, he came on so strong that he scared the hell outta her, making her run. Damn Kareem, I am rooting for ya'all! 👀 I understood Sawyer's hesitancy, cause it was a lot, but girl talk to the man! 😤
When Kareem reappears, I'm holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. Nosy ass neighbors' man! Ughh....🤬 I don't know what kinda psychic connection those twins have, but they locked in! Kadeem was coming for his brother come hell or high water! Cute follow-up.

The perfect conclusion
Kareem said, " by any means necessary." I was here for everything him and Sawyer went through. That nosey old neighbor pissed me off, but I will digress.
The way her friends and sister had me cracking up was the reason I got through this Monday. Talking about "lead with the photo." Only true best friends will give the advise they did. I would know because that would have been me.
Everything came full circle and I hope they enjoy their HEA.

Was this a little messy? YES! And i loved it!
When you love someone, you just do. It's that unexplainable feeling. Sometimes, you might even do crazy things for that person you love. The suspense throughout the book for me was whether Sawyer and Kareem would get their happily ever after. I couldn't figure out which direction the author was headed with their story. What I will say is, I swear the twin, Kadeem, yielded magical powers.
Sawyer's village (her sister, 2 best friends) who loved and embraced her was available. Her sister Soleil was that big sister who didn't play about her little sister. She was hilarious. She was serious. She was gentle, yet funny. Displayed no judgment, although she could have.
I liked how this story was written and, in my opinion, was created into parts.
Part 1. in Brazil and the reveal
Part 2. her return home from Brazil & being with best friends
Part 3. Kareem's return & his rearrest; Christmas w/sister
Part 4. the sister & mother love (baby shower & return for birth)

Loved that the writer focused more on the positive traits of Kareem vs. the negative. He really did want to be there for Sawyer and baby Kareena and become the man and daddy they would be proud of. Now, how was this gonna happen after being taken into custody again?

He knew his brother Kareem heart wanted to be with Sawyer for the birth of daughter. Kadeem make sure his brother have his freedom. Now the Dorsey Twins with sawyer living a happy life. Internationally.

The highly anticipated follow up to book 1!
Whew baby- it did not disappoint!
This author does an amazing job not being predictable or repetitive in this story.
This pen game and I go together REAL bad because everything I read I love from K.L. Hall.
The mix of unique storylines, great writing, humor, and passion...have always been top tier for me.
As expected, this story exceeded that expectation.
What I love about this author in this story was her ability to give a HEA while keeping real to the situation.
Absolutely adored this series and HIGHLY recommend.

True Love
This book is by far one of the best I’ve ever read. I was disappointed with the way the first part ended, thinking I would have to wait forever for part 2. I’m happy to say that wasn’t the case and Ms. Hall did her thing!!!
No matter how love is found, there’s no stopping True Love. Kareem was willing to risk it all to be with the only woman he has ever truly loved. I also love the bond that he shares with his twin. They love and protect each other and they are stand up guys who take care of their children. I hope that Kadeem has a story coming and will be on the lookout for it. Great job Ms. Hall👍🏽

I fell in love with this couple in the first book and was excited when it ended with a cliffhanger because I knew book 2 would be coming!!!
Sawyer and Kareem’s love story was already complicated but a baby always makes things come together as they should. Everything that they both gave up for the other to prove their love for the other made my heart melt and made me love this book even more.
If you haven’t read book one from the BLP Signs of Love series add that and this book to your TBR, you will not be disappointed.

Kareem is a lover boy at heart, and meeting Sawyer during a hurricane as an escaped felon was the lick. He came through and wrecked havoc on my girl. She was down bad and afraid at the same time. Pregnant...sacred.....
But as always, K. L. Hall, gave us the happily ever after.

This book was definitely a interesting read. The characters were good and they were relatable but the storyline could have been more believable. I want tell the storyline because I don’t want to spoil the story for your readers. Authorities always look for their criminals at love ones home. I still recommend the readers to read this book because it contains passion and erotic scenes and love.

Much Better
Not me rooting for the escaped inmate. SMH I was so curious about what would happen for this couple since Kareem was on the run. I enjoyed their courtship a lot more than I did in the first book. Sawyer didn’t come off as foolish as she did before. Kareem seemed less barbaric. It was easy to root for them this time. I enjoyed the chaos and drama that was thrown in. The epilogue was so perfect and sweet.

I want to say Sawyer was getting on my nerves but she was thinking like and sensible woman would! You baby daddy is a criminal on the run, what kind of future could u have?

Love on the run
That was the best second part i definitely needed. Kareem was for whatever Sawyer was and love was what they were both going for. That brother might need his own story because how is he so clever with his breakouts. Emotional and happy that they were able to raise their daughter in peace.

Good read, if a bit far fetched
The writing was good, but there were a few errors which didn’t take away from the story. I liked Sawyer but he must have liked living dangerously, cause ain’t no way! Kareem was doing his best in a tight situation. This was book 2 and o hadn’t read book 1 but it was still a good read. I know this is fantasy, but twice was a bit much lol

I’m glad I read part 2 because Sawyer kind of irked my nerves in book 1. Id love to read an update on some of the secondary characters. I’ll check the author’s catalog to see if there are any follow-up stories.

I really enjoyed reading this second installment of Kareem and Sawyer’s story. From the very beginning, it pulled me right back into their world like I never left. The drama, the tension, the unexpected twists — everything was turned up, and I was here for all of it.
What stood out to me the most was how real their love felt. With everything transpiring it’s easy for relationships to get lost in the chaos, but Kareem and Sawyer’s bond stayed solid through all the madness around them. Their love wasn’t perfect, but it was pure, loyal, and grounded in something deeper than just attraction. You could feel how much they wanted to hold on to each other even when life kept throwing one situation after another in their path.
This book had so many moments where I found myself shaking my head like, “No way…” because the craziness was nonstop — but that’s what made it such an addictive read. The author did a great job balancing romance with the gritty reality of their circumstances, and I appreciated how emotional the story became as they tried to navigate everything coming at them.
Overall, this was a strong follow-up that kept me invested and excited for what’s next. If you love urban stories filled with passion, loyalty, and real-life obstacles, this one will definitely keep you turning pages.
