After nearly a year away, Samuel Branch returns home to try and build a life for himself. His plans, however, mean nothing to the world at large. He finds himself dragged into supernatural politics, squaring off against a corrupt police officer and fighting against his own rage. To make matters worse, the Green Man returns with a chilling revelation and a task. As Branch struggles to understand these new challenges, he will learn that power alone is not enough and, for some, things will never be the same again…
Raised in Western New York, Eric Dontigney has lived in New Mexico, Florida, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. He currently resides near Dayton, OH. He is a fan of photo-realism paintings, coffee and well-made food. He has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
Rises: The Samuel Branch Omnibus is a three-book set I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). The first third in the series, Rises, unlike the prior story where Sam faced a lot of external forces, this storyline seems to focus on more internal struggles.
