True Love Can’t Be Denied -
Tessa and Lucian’s relationship had always been that of a boss and his assistant, even though she had been lusting after him for a while. However, Lucian started seeing Tessa in a new light when they became stranded in his apartment in a snowstorm, where alcohol and adult card games were involved. Whilst Lucian and Tessa tried to return to their professional relationship after their night of unrestrained sexual pleasures, but working closely together only heightened their attraction for each other.
Even though Tessa and Lucian tried to keep their new ‘friends with benefits’ relationship a secret, rumours were flying about their closeness and this caused problems in both of their professional lives. Unfortunately, Lucian’s ex-wife decided to wreak havoc on both their lives, which led to numerous distressing situation for both of them. Tessa realised she had to make changes in her life, especially after she discovered her life was about to change and the consequences of her dalliance with Lucian could derail the plans she had made for her future.
Although Tessa was irrevocably in love with Lucian, she decided to break off their relationship, which led to both of them being really miserable and their unhappiness started having an effect of their jobs. Luckily, just when they had just about given up on having a future together, the last person he expected to give him advice told him to fight for his happiness. Therefore Lucian made up his mind to do everything possible to ensure there would no longer be any obstacles in both their professional or personal lives.
Lucian then publicly acknowledged his relationship with Tessa, especially after she revealed the secret she had been keeping from him, which led to him convincing her to give them a chance at having the future they wanted. It took me the entire day to read this book, but I can say without a shadow of doubt, that every minute spent reading this book was definitely worth my time. In my humble opinion, I believe Sofia T Summers is a truly fantastic author, who draws her readers into the story and keeps them totally invested, especially how she makes the characters bring the story alive on paper, which makes it difficult to want to take a break, whilst reading the book.

Tessa and Lucian . . .
Hands full of dusty Christmas decorations that smelled like mothballs, Tessa Wynn enters the elevator. A snowstorm arrived, already a foot deep, and the caterer had canceled. Half the people were trapped at home and half in the office. The florist never arrived. The band was stuck in traffic on the interstate. So she was trying to put up whatever decorations she could find which explains the mothballs and dust. Even her new party dress was torn from her basement adventure looking for decorations. Is it time to look for a new job? The elevator stopped and Lucian Cross stepped in looking flawless in a tuxedo. A string of lights fell from her arms and her boss bent to retrieve it. As they arrived at their destination, her phone rang and in trying to get it from her pocket, she overbalanced and fell into her boss, which emptied champagne all over his tuxedo and into his shoes. It also caused her to drop all the decorations. But to her surprise, he was laughing! Even more shocking, he invited her to save Christmas by accompanying him to his penthouse! He was prepared to retrieve champagne, wine, and spirits from his wine cellar to offer the party guests. But she may have made the wrong assumption when she tried to figure out what he was offering.
The storm worsens and the two of them have their own private party. Unforeseen obstacles such as rumors and harassment by his ex make life complicated... as does Tessa's discovery that she is now pregnant. Will this change the direction of their future? Will he make it public now that they are engaged and expecting their first child?
Will circumstances allow them to embrace a HEA or will they go their own way alone?

The characters are well written with a great story to guide the reader. She is working hard to save money to make her dreams come true. He is her older boss that is sexy as sin. One night during a blizzard, things change for them. How will their lives change after the big reveal?.

Office prohibited romance. Boss/assistant. Age gap. Spicy.
Tessa and Lucian started hot and heavy after a failed office Christmas party found them trapped together in a snowstorm in Lucian’s penthouse and as their relationship continued their feelings increase for each other. Lucian plagued by an ex-wife that wants to see him and his relationship fail.
I feel that this book was good but the relationship with the main characters left a lot to be desired. They didn’t really communicated a lot and Lucian was really hot/cold with how he treated Tessa but how he WANTED to treat her, a lot of problems could have been avoided if they talked.
I mean, I’m a big fan of drama and the miscommunication trope so it was enjoyable but it felt that there was a lot back and forth around the same thing.
The spice was on point on this one, plenty of it and with variety so I was pleasantly surprised aaaand entertained.

Silver fox/age gap romances are one of my favorite tropes and this one had promise, but it fell short for me.
Lucian starts out as an alpha male who knows how to get what he wants with no apology. Tessa is a young woman who has ambition and is goal oriented to have a comfortable and safe future. She doesn't want to repeat her mother's struggling footsteps.
At the beginning of their affair, their chemistry and attraction is undeniable. Lucien and Tessa as his executive assistant knows how to keep it professional during the day, but burn up the sheets at night. So, it is surprising that Lucien cowers to his jealous, overbearing, overstepping ex-wife and gets into fits of jealousy over Tessa's future plans. He never mans up when the whispers start about his and Tessa's "mentorship." Lucien allows Tessa to accompany him on business meetings and has her address the clients as a junior analyst. He never includes any of the analysts that are already in place working these accounts. Of course there will be rumors. Now Lucien just seems clueless and stupid.
Tessa remains stoic and somewhat steady around the suggestive comments and probing questions.
I was disappointed by Lucien's personality shift. Instead of his first domineering impression at the Christmas party, he becomes a selfish coward in the name of protecting himself, his company and Tessa. However, it doesn't feel that way to Tessa. Lucien's hot and cold reactions towards her, leave Tessa confused and uncertain with her feelings, her relationship with Lucien, her job and her future.
It was too much for too long watching and waiting for Lucien and Tessa to get their acts together. I ended up not liking them as a couple, but they did eventually have their happy ending where everything was addressed and all is well that ends well with them and the supporting characters.

Tessa is a young woman working her way to a better career as an asst to Lucian while going to college part time and saving for if so she can be a mom because she doesn’t want to wait for the right man who may never come. One Christmas party that turns into a disaster due to a serious winter storm she gets stranded at Lucien’s home overnight. Due to wine and a card game of strip poker she keeps losing they end up sleeping together. Lucien wants more but Tessa is worried about their careers if anyone finds out and the 22 yr age gap.lucien also starts seeing Tessa completely differently after she reveals her knowledge of finance from going to college and his brilliant she is. He had no idea she was even studying to be more. They continue in secret but ppl at work start to notice and Lucien’s ex wife and adult kids make trouble. Lucien’s decides he wants to give her a baby because he can’t stand the thoughts of a sperm donor which changes their relationship again after seeing her ivf info. Drama happens, bad decisions are made, fear and scandal disrupts their lives and they don’t know how to handle everything which only leads to hurt and confusion. They break up but that makes them both miserable. Lucien’s must decide when he realizes he loves Tessa what he’s willing to sacrifice to keep her or if he’s willing to lose her and possibly a future and family with her. Tessa must decide if she’s ready to give up on Lucien or fight to keep him thru scandal distance and hurt feelings. And Tessa’s keeping a secret that could change everything when advice comes to Lucien from an unlikely source.
Tessa isn’t a pushover and has valid concerns about a sex benefit with her older boss. Lucien for being a boss really struggles with his past affecting his current decisions instead of standing firm on what he wants.

This is the eighth book in the Billionaire Baby Daddies series where men with some gray in their hair couples with someone who is probably too young for them. I think I'm at my end with reading age gap romances. I just can't seem to get past how cringy that feels to me. I know a lot of people just can't seem to get enough of falling in bed with men that are old enough to be their dad or if i'm being generous, a young uncle. I really did try to like it though. Anyway, this review will be looking at strictly the other aspects of the story past the age gap part. This was a relatively short book, so that pace of the story moved at a pretty fast clip, without making the story feel too rushed. The writing was good and the characters were engaging. If you're into men that are 20+ years your senior that has all the money in the world, then this one is for you. There is a surprise pregnancy trope going on with the Christimas backdrop. And as always with this author's books, the spice was top-tier. Once I was able to get past the age-gap part, I really enjoyed the read.

This is a sweet, age gap, office romance. The MCs are enjoyable to read and relatable.
Pros:
- The MMC is the CEO and it written like he actually runs a company. There's a lot of billionaire romance out there that completely ignore the fact that they have jobs they need to go to in order to make those billions.
- The FMC is not a complete pushover.
- Plenty of spice. There's several spicy scenes and although the MMC is kind of dominant in the bedroom he respects the FMCs boundaries. I don't want to spoil it but it has to do with gloves (wink, wink).

This is a great addition to the Billionaire Baby Daddies Series. Tessa a young woman working and saving her money to get IVF to become a Single mom as she believes she doesn’t need a man. Her boss, Lucian and CEO of the company is one sexy older man that has been married with adult children. Surprisingly a lot to unpack but I’m going go keep it short because…
1. Tessa is 26 and has been saving since 24 to pay for IVF so she can have a baby on her own asap?? She does know she could have met some random man at a bar for free and just not told him right?
2. She’s finishing her finance degree, wants to her her MBA, and become an analyst while still having time for maternity leave as a single mom. What? How is she paying for daycare? What are they paying executive assistants at Cross Capital??

This is the story of Lucian and Tessa. To be honest I didn’t warm to Lucian’s character at all. As CEO of his company, and with two children not much younger than Tessa, I felt he should have known better. His ex-wife was a bitter person and caused him no end of problems. I felt that it was left to Tessa that had to be the stronger character and walk away.
Lucian and Tessa have a journey full of ups and downs before they get their HEA.
Well worth reading.

Wowsa this book is absolutely smoking hot and steamy. It will definitely put you in the Holiday Spirit. Its older man and younger woman and boss and employee and surprise pregnancy taboo story. Lucian is ceo and Tessa is his assistant but when a company Christmas company party ends during blizzard will they find away to make it warm and cozy? When feelings start between them will hiscex destroy them both? Great story that will have you so engrossed in it that you will still want more of them after the end is done. I throughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down.

I don't know why I hadn't discovered these books before now. This was a fun and fast read, lots of source, a great plot, great characters. So, after plowing through this book, falling in love with the characters, I started to get withdrawals. So, did I go download all of the other books? You bet I did! Lucian and Tessa have such amazing chemistry. Sofia Summers is an amazing writer, this entire standalone series is amazing! Definitely check out her books if you haven't!.

Silver Fox’s Christmas Scandal by Sofia T. Summers is the story of Lucian and Tessa. She’s his assistant, but has plans to pursue a degree to be an analyst. They have a situation where they are stuck together…and things take a turn! There are so many issues behind the scenes that would prevent anything happening.
Good story! Thought Lucian was a bit weak…and Tessa a little too timid. The scene where everything comes out was shocking and, in my opinion, not a place where that discussion should occur. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story!!

This was a surprisingly great read! It is often that this trope becomes cliche, but this story was so well written that I was engrossed from begin to end. My only wish was that there was additional information about the son and daughter’s transformation and the mystery stranger with the daughter at the end.

This was a good read. I've read two other stories by the other prior to this one and liked both of those as well.
Tessa works for Lucian as his assistant and during a snow storm they get stranded and things get steamy. Tessa has her future mapped out but things get stressful when Lucian ex-wife sticks her nose in and starts spreading rumors with the board of the company that Lucian built.

Just intime for the holiday spirit this book is filled with the holiday vibe between Lucian and Tessa. When a Christmas blizzard blows in, he invites Tessa up to his penthouse for more holiday cheer and it starts their path. I loved reading Tessa and Lucian's story! Their story was a steamy, drama filled story love story. Neither of them believed that the other was falling in love them story. It basically took Lucian's daughter being in a horrible car accident for them to finally get their holiday happily ever after.

I enjoyed the read but I didn’t understand turning a strong business guru into a hiding in shadows to have an affair with his subordinate. He was smart enough to build his company but he totally didn’t try to fight back against his ex wife’s manipulations. Then when he admitted the affair, suddenly all was ok? So I read it, enjoyed the happy ending, but it could have been so much better. I don’t plan to read more from this author.

Proofreading errors spoiled the read

For example- saying looking down at "the Brooklyn" Street, when they were in Chicago. Another was the MMC gifting the MFC bracelet and three paragraphs later calling it a necklace. Those kind of mistakes show a lack of attention to detail. Otherwise, it was a decent read.

I loved the story of Tessa and Lucian while simultaneously being appalled by manipulating ex’s and people that can’t mind their own business. It’s a roller coaster of a ride and well wroth the read. Well written with some great characters and some really hot steam. This is an author I enjoy reading and can’t wait for the next book.
