Zara is a princess and fourth in line for the throne. She has always wanted to please her family but she feels like she has to pretend to be something she's not to be accepted. One day her therapist confronts her with her computer history which shows that she has been researching age play. Her therapist believes that Zara should figure out if this is what she is really interested in and arranges her her to spend a week at the Rawhide Ranch. Zara is thrilled at the opportunity. When she arrives at the ranch under an assumed name, she is given her own bodyguard named Jaben who will also be helping her learn about being a Little and a submissive. Zara is very drawn to Jaben but she know she has to hide who she really is from him to protect her family.

Jaben is usually in charge of security at Rawhide Ranch. He is a Dominant who often runs the Ranch's dungeon. He came to the ranch hoping that Master Derek might fix him up with his forever Little. When Derek calls him into his office, Jaben is hopeful. He soon learns that he will be the personal bodyguard for Zoe, a new guest. He will be helping her learn about being a Little and a service submissive. Just one look at Zoe and he is fascinated. He believes that she could never be interested in an older and scarred Daddy like him.

Princess Zara's psychologist gives her a prescription for Rawhide Ranch where she will have the time and place to determine if she is a little. Jaben is assigned to her as her body guard while she is at the ranch. When he speaks to Zara who is going by the alias Zoe, she feels like a little and a sub. Jaben is equally attracted to her. When her mother, the Queen, finds out, she comes to take Zara home. Will Zara go? What happens to Zara and Jaben's relationship? What does Zara do with her little/sub side?

I liked this story. Jaben has control over Zara's lessons and punishments. Jaben has his uncertainty because of the age and size difference between them as well as country of origin differences. He also has trust issues from the past. When he learns of Zara's past, he is upset and feels betrayed. I liked Zara and her mother's talk. I also appreciated the Queen's comment about Jaben and a polo player. When the Queen and Zara do have their talk, Zara sees the Queen more clearly. I like with Master Derek talks with Jaben also. He goes straight to the point with no questioning. Jaben respects Derek enough to listen and to act. While I don't agree with Zara's choices at times, I appreciate that loyalty is important to her. A lot of firsts happen to Zara at Rawhide Ranch. She is ready for them.

I love this series and look forward to more of it.

Lucky Moon returns to Rawhide Ranch in A Little Pancake Day Party. In this age-gap and age-play romance, readers witness the romantic journey of Zara and Jaben. With the help of her therapist, Zara arrives at Rawhide Ranch to try to figure how her true identity. Zara is the fourth child of the current ruling monarch. She is so far down the line of succession that she is ignored most of the time. This takes a toll on her psyche. She is a lost and wounded soul. While at Rawhide Ranch she uses an alias. She is provided with a body guard, Jaben, who is a DD. There is an instant attraction. As they spend time together their feelings grow. Then out of nowhere Zara’s mother appears. Zara’s true identity throws her relationship into a deep dive. What will happen? Can her relationship be saved? You must read this book to find out.

Yet again, Ms. Moon does an outstanding job with this character development romance. The dialog is rich. The descriptive scenes are captivating. The dual POV provides readers with insight into the emotional baggage that both lead characters carry. This was a good read to simply escape from one’s hectic everyday schedules. Nicely done, Ms. Moon.

Okay be prepared to take a journey with princess Zara who read stories about littles loving every word of it until her mother the queen catches her and sends her off to therapy never realizing that changed her path. Her therapist recommends she be sent off to Rawhide Ranch as treatment under a new identity and she isn’t allowed to tell anyone she is royalty. Jaben sexy as all get out daddy who wants his very own little never imaging, he would meet her at the Ranch of all places. They get to know each other, learning they are more alike than different she tells him about the pancake day competition, and he holds a pancake day just for her. She learns she is a little enjoys the lifestyle and that she wants her bodyguard Jaben as a daddy but with everything they must face when she returns home to her mother will she accept who her daughter is, will he be daddy enough to standup defending her, and will they find their own happiness?.

Zoe is at Rawhide Ranch, where she will be safe to explore her Little side like she has never been able to. While she is there, Jaben is assigned to be her bodyguard. While she is honest about being Little, she isn't forthright about who she actually is. Feelings develop between Zoe and Jaben, and he becomes her Daddy. When the truth comes out, will the fallout destroy what Zoe and Jaben have built? Or will they get their HEA?

This is a really sweet story. Zoe starts out not trusting anyone, and by the end, she has many true friends among the residents of Rawhide Ranch. There aren't as many hijinks in this book as some of the other Rawhide Ranch books, but Zoe is a little more serious. I love the way Jaben went after Zoe. It was perfect. This is a one click worthy book, and one I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Surprisingly I really enjoyed this book and plan on keeping it plus I want to read the whole series! I’m personally not into ddlg but I do like reading books with it especially when they’re this good! This book has a really important person in it that is constantly in the spotlight and not able to live like she dreams about. Luckily for her she has a doctor who understands to some degree and is not afraid of what the queen thinks or will do. Which is very special in my opinion one of the things I love about this book it has a lot of funny moments. Also it shows that it’s totally okay to be who you truly are no matter what anyone thinks among so much more to love and enjoy! It’s a quick read with so mystery and happy ending I want more on these amazing characters! I also really want to know what order this series is suppose to be read in.

This is mostly a sweet story of princess who wants something different for herself and a strong man who can provide what she needs. But there were a couple of things that required a suspension of believe. One is her doctor’s prescription. Another was sometimes things that Zoe said didn’t seem like something a virgin would say even if she read a lot of romance books. Also, I couldn’t believe that Derek was kept in the dark and he allowed it when it could put the ranch and his employee at risk. Jaben is pretty solid guy but even then I think he takes things a bit fast when he knows Zoe had no real life experience in kink. I know that things move at a different pace in this series and I’ve enjoyed some stories better than others. This one fit well with the series overall and it does have a HEA.

Zoe/Zara is the youngest daughter of the Queen of England and is prescribed to go to Rawhide Ranch to explore her possible Little side. Jaben is the DD assigned as her personal bodyguard and disciplinarian. Once you suspended belief on the princess part, this is a really adorable story. Zoe really is a good girl and loves exploring her Little side. But she does have one bad habit, lying to protect others. Jaben is a wonderful DD who treats her well, giving her what she needs. I loved this book until the end when it seemed Jaben was unwilling to listen. It just didn't seem in his character and there was no explanation for his aversion. Great HEA though.

The story unfolds with Zara, a princess living in England. Zara discovers her little side and how she loves to read little stories secretly. However her mother, the Queen finds her truth and sends Zara to the therapist. Fortunately, her therapist recommends her Rawhide Ranch as part of her treatment whereby Zara stays under a different identity and doesn't reveal her royalty status. There, she meets Jaben who takes her under his wings and they discover each other. The cutest part is when Zara tells Jaben about her Pancake day competition which she helds at the palace and Jaben holds pancake competition for her at the ranch.

All for the pancakes

Zara always knew she did feel comfortable being herself within the family dynamic.
Went as far as her psychologist sending her to RR to help find herself and to eventually tell her mother (The Queen).
First day and she meets Jaben and feels so at ease except that her true identity is a secret no one at the ranch knows until the uneventful day that The Queen shows up at the ranch to demand she comes back home.
Zara knew she would never go back home to England and has to prove to everyone that who she is who she is staying as.
Once again wonderful characters and a fantastic book

I want Pancake Day!

This book exceeded my expectations in all the best ways. I mean, I knew I'd read it as a diehard Rawhide Ranch fan but I didn't think it would be for me. I was wrong.

I loved the age gap and the royalty elements...and in this instance I loved the learning and exploration of the lifestyle and dynamic. Lots of fun.

I felt like Lucky gave us enough Rawhide elements and familiar characters to truly be part of that world while also giving us a solid story and couple.

I also found myself learning some British phrases and mannerisms I didn't before, so it was also a learning experience! 🤣

Overall, I'm a happy reader and now I want pancakes.

Even though this is about a fictional royal princess, her heart and mind were far from what most would call a "princess." One of the sweetest characters, kindhearted and willing to forgive and give people many chances. Zara and Jaben are so adorable and well-suited for each other, with the chemistry being "electric" in Zara's words. The punishments were not too scandalous, kinda sexy, lol, and not too out of line. This ebook is wonderfully written and excited for more in the series! I wish there had been a written recipe for those pancakes and that is my only complaint! 5 out of 5 kisses again!!.

I've read a few books in the rawhide ranch series and have loved them. The dd/lg lifestyle is intriguing and a joy to read.
Zara or zoe was in a difficult situation, her birth right placed a lot of restrictions on the person within. So when she is sent off to the ranch to find herself she finds it hard to let go and enjoy it. Jaben fears he will never find his forever little girl and when zoe becomes his charge, he finds he can't stop his feelings for her. This was a great read, sweet, sad and funny. A great insight to the lifestyle.

Zara assumes a different identity when she comes to Rawhide Ranch. Jaben is assigned to guard and assist her in connecting with her Little side. These two have a lot of chemistry and find themselves falling for each other. Zara is still keeping her secrets, hoping that he will understand in the end. I loved the Littles and Zoe's interactions. Poor Zara! She takes a chance and comes to the Ranch to explore her Little and is assigned to big intimidating Jaben who gives her tingles when he Daddies her. Jaben knows that there’s something she’s keeping from him but feels the connection growing between them. What a sweet story of opposites attracting and finding out that they are exactly what the other needs. I love the storyline and the characters are awesome. What a fun read!.

A lot of Daddies call their Littles princess. Zoe (Zara) actually is one. She's always felt like she was different, didn't fit in to her family and their expectations. So she's at Rawhide Ranch to come to terms with who she really is.

This is a sweet story of a young woman coming of age and accepting herself as she is meant to be.

This is a sweet, hot sexy and engaging story. I liked it. It's different. Zara is a little lost. Jaben is a Daddy. They learn lots about themselves as they help each other and those they meet. There are some hot erotic sexy scenes and spankings. I enjoyed all the well done characters and their interactions. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. Well worth reading.

Definitely more sweet than spicy! I thought the battles that the 2 mcs had to overcome to find their true roles in each others lives would never be overcome. Especially that snot nosed welp maisie! But I loved this beauty and the beast like fairy tale, and with a queen to boot. There were a few steamy moments but not as much as I would have liked, even though I totally get why we had to wait.

A cute story of a real Princess who is sent to Rawhide Ranch to figure out what she really is inside. Zoe doesn't tell anyone who she really is and it was interesting to watch her at Rawhide Ranch. Jaben was okay but I had a little bit of trouble connecting to him. He finally came around and I loved the ending!

This was a very fun and very cute read. I liked the story a lot. I thought Zoe was super likeable and easy to sympathize with, and Jaben was a great daddy dom. Loved them as a couple. Load of hogwash

I knew this book was going to be puerile as soon as the words princess, Sussex and Royal family came up. This has to be one of the worse books written by this author and the worst in the rawhide series. I'm glad I read it on ku and didn't waste my money. A huge disappointment.

As a member of the Royal Family, Zara felt stifled and not able to be herself. Being sent tot he Rawhide Ranch was chance for her to face her fears and explore the lifestyle. Her appointed bodyguard, Jaben, was protective and was who she felt safe with. A good little read.

Mr sunshine

I loved this book.
Jabden and Zara are perfect together.
The characters are well written and fit perfectly into the Rawhide Ranch world.
I thoroughly enjoyed the interplay between all the characters.
Lots of secrets, twists and turns kept me engrossed. A clever premise which played out nicely.
I definitely recommend this book, series and author.

I enjoyed this book. It was heartwarming and romantic.
Zara has come to Rawhide Ranch to find herself. She is tired of being unable to be herself.
Jaben has been assigned as Zara’s bodyguard. He has no idea who she is and quickly develops feelings for her.
Jaben and Zara are fab characters with an interesting storyline.
I adore the Rawhide Ranch stories! They are fun, lighthearted and easy to read.
