Ed is back… and somehow still stuck in a completely ridiculous book. Only this time, things are EVEN MORE ridiculous!
Ed can’t seem to catch a break. Just when he thinks things can’t get any weirder… they do. With every page, new nonsense piles on top of old nonsense, leaving Ed more confused, frustrated, and ridiculous than ever.
This Book Is Even More Ridiculous is the side-splitting sequel to This Book Is Ridiculous — perfect for kids (and parents) who love silly humor, unexpected twists, and reading stories over and over just to laugh again.
But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what some very real and totally legitimate readers had to
“I accidentally read the whole book upside down and still loved it!” — Frozen Blueberry
“Two thumbs up… and I don’t even have thumbs!” — Goldfish
Eric Belmonte writes books that make kids laugh—and say "what???"—in the best way. His debut picture book, This Book Is Ridiculous, grew out of the goofy stories he made up with his daughter, which usually involved giant hands, soggy books and mischievous ducks.
When he’s not writing ridiculous things, Eric lives in New Hampshire with his family and an unusual assortment of pets, including frogs, lizards, and a turtle who may or may not be plotting a book of his own.
If you think the first book was ridiculous… just wait until you read this one! My Grade One class absolutely loved this hilarious read-aloud. The adventure, the silly surprises, and the perfectly timed potty humour had my students laughing nonstop. I haven’t met a kid yet who doesn’t enjoy a good adventure mixed with a little potty talk fun! It even inspired our class to create our own maps afterward. Ridiculous? Absolutely. Entertaining? Even more so!
This book not only made the kids laugh and say “what!?” But I also laughed and enjoyed the fact that I never knew what was coming next. What a fun read.
