It all started so innocently. My neighbor, Mr. Cook, lured me to his motorcycle club with the promise of a present for my 18th birthday. The gift, if you could even call it that, was far from what I expected and the Saint Reapers quickly turned me into their dirty little biker man-toy. It was such a rush, being so desired and wanted by a horde of men each and every day. There was nothing I wanted more than to have each of them use me to satisfy their own cravings. Everything was great until a rival gang caught word that I was hanging out at the clubhouse regularly. That's when my life began to spiral out of control. Mr. Cook hardly even talked to me, and when he did, it was only to reassure me that everything would soon be back to normal. He may have been the leader of the Saint Reapers, but that didn't make him a magician. I was in more danger than ever and had to spend every waking moment with him just to stay alive. The sad part was, even going through all of this I couldn't help the feelings that were developing for Mr. Cook. I could only hope that underneath his rough and damaged exterior he felt the same way about me and that we could stay together even after I no longer needed his protection.
This is the complete Gay Rebel series.
Please note: This book has been professionally remastered from its original form to sate the naughty appetite of man on man readers. It can be found in its original form as Rebel: The Complete Biker Next Door Series by Jamie Fuchs.
Jamie was born and raised on a farm in Canada. After leaving for college she quickly grew out of her conservative upbringing and became enthralled in a world of sex. Now she lives a very relaxed lifestyle, working various jobs as she travels around. In her free time she enjoys the smaller things in life, like a good cup of tea.
Oh, and of course she loves to write dirty stories!
So disappointed with this series. It had a lot of potential to be great but there was such a lack of detail that I just can't be excited with this book. If you're into a book where there is nothing but sex and no real story, then maybe this is for you.
If you're looking for a good MC book, or something with a bit more depth to it, this is not for you.
I don't even feel right going into detail about the WTF'ery that was the beginning of this series since it seems to be the only time you get to have a feel for the characters. Although I will say, the fact that even as she falls in love with David Cook and has sex with him god knows how many times, she refers to him as Mr. Cook way too much. I had said this when I was about 1/4 of the way done and will say it again. This series was like reading someone's dirty fantasy.
Really good series of books from a really great author, this is a fast paced catch story line of new love, hot hard sex between Sally and Mr Cook, followed by her introduction in to the secret biker world where she enjoys being taken by multiple members of the gang in their clubhouse, the story has a good twist in it leading to all that sally had grown to love being taken away from her only to be reunited again. I would have liked it if there were more details of the rivalry between the gangs to understand why she was in so much danger and maybe additional "punishments" when she was captured and imprisoned by the other gang, but as this is a short series i guess that would come in a longer story line. Overall a great read as are all this authors books which are all well worth purchasing.
This is supposed to be 6 consecutive books all smashed into 143 pages. i did see the big title at the start of each "book", but this definitely flowed like one smooth story. The characters were okay for me, i think i personally would have been a bit more freaked if i saw a whole gang of bikers waiting to have their way with me, but our female lead figured it would be better for everyone if she just relaxed and took it. Her plan seemed to work out for her, so i guess more power to her. My biggest issue with this book was the fact that my Dad is a biker and i pretty much pictured him and his old biker buddies the whole time. Don't get me wrong, the author tries to paint a picture of a group of hotties, i just couldn't get passed my own imagination. Thinking i won't be reading a lot of MC stuff (this was my first) lol!
*** I received this copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinions. * * *
Starting this series I was so excited! I love biker stories and knew it was going to be an exciting ride so to speak lol. I'm hooked on this author and have enjoyed all of her works I have read. She has a way of drawing you into her stories, almost to the point of feeling as of you are there and not just reading them. I loved the characters and their experiences. When we first meet Mr. Cook it's exciting and sexy. All the excitement follows you through the books as we experience a rival gang, hot sex and new love found and lost. I absolutely loved the series and am rating it in at four hearts.
This story is not bad it's just not my cup of tea. It's a lot more emotionless sex than romance and chemistry. The story starts out kind of taboo and that's not really my thing either. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading hardcore sex but I like the H&h to have some chemistry between them and I just wasn't picking up on any. It's a quick read about impersonal sex involving an inexperienced and naïve 18 year old girl that enjoys becoming a club wh@%€. Once again, I'm not judging but it's just not my thing. I would have given more stars if the MC had not continuously been referred to as the biker "gang"!!!
So this is an MC series but it kind of bugged me and confused me. First of all nobody questions when this girl disappears. Second of all who is Rebel or is that the MC's name? I have more questions than answers when I finished this book. Now don't get me wrong I still enjoyed the book and didn't want to put it down but I felt it could use more answers.
I thought the story was good but kinda missed the point on how Mr Cook really felt. The storyline never did elaborate on what really happened and how Sally was caught up into club. Overall you really had to read between the lines to get a really good understanding.
