A Very Deadly Christmas Wedding: A Carolina Canines Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
Getting married is stressful. Solving a murder during your wedding week? That's just bad timing.

Bea Whitman has nine days until her dream Christmas wedding at a historic Charleston plantation. Then her wedding coordinator vanishes, leaving behind her shoes and a shredded blouse beside an alligator-infested pond. The police call it suicide. Bea's French Bulldog Max calls it suspicious. Max is usually right.

When the coordinator's husband turns up shot dead in his kitchen, Bea discovers a two-million-dollar insurance policy and a trail of secrets that won't stay buried. With her fiancé James and Max's legendary nose leading the way, she hunts for answers while both families descend on her house for pre-wedding chaos.

Between assembling wedding favors, surviving bachelorette karaoke at a dive bar, and preventing her future mother-in-law from solving cold cases over dinner, Bea races to catch a killer before her walk down the aisle. Can Bea solve the case before saying "I do" at the very plantation where it all began? Or will her Christmas wedding need a seriously revised guest list?

A fast-paced holiday cozy mystery with loyal dogs, small-town sleuths, and a bride who really should learn to delegate.

Saw That Coming

Typical next volume for this series. Liked the epilogue, but where most authors don't spend enough time wrapping up their stories, Madison Boyd spends too much time repeating the same thing. It's almost as if she's getting paid by the word. With a little bit of editing, the story could move up to great

My favorite book in this series!

Bea and James find themselves thrust in the middle of a huge mystery just 10 days before their December wedding. Can they solve this case before they leave on their mystery honeymoon?
