When Akira accompanies Shintarou to Tokyo for a college tour at the boy’s request, he bumps into his ex-boyfriend from his own college days! Shintarou is shaken by this revelation from Akira’s history, and the two quarrel. Now that he has to face his past again, how does Akira really feel...?
I'm trying to think of a reason not to give this 5 stars, and I can't. I laughed, I cried, my heart gushed at how sweet and wholesome so much of this was, and I just loved it. Nothing else to say, a perfect read.
Mutual feelings!!!!! But Minato’s anxiety about their age gap is killing it for me. I understand being anxious but damn, it’s been 6 volumes already. Just be together and love each other!!!!!
What can I say? I like that Shin is a quiet, good guy and good big brother that looses his head for Minato-san. I like that Minato-san clearly enjoys Shin’s company and has his own fraught relationship past to deal with, but also is clear that Shin is underage. I like the addition of Shin’s siblings, Asuka and his hopeful boo Shuu-sensei.
After their big fight in Volume Five, our boys are mending fences and Shin turns eighteen. Not trying to spoil anything but there’s a big step forward. I was surprised it actually happened. I was thinking they were going to draw things out longer. I’m glad Shin and Minato-san are moving forward but not rushing into anything. Being friends is foundational to their relationship and that’s super important.
I like the additional side stories from the original author. The one in this issue stood out to me because Minato-san asks Shin about his sexuality. Book Six and we all assumed Shin was either gay or bi. I’m intrigued by Shin’s response and I wonder if I would be who I am if I met my person before I dated other people or were exposed to people and media that was so heavily favored towards heterosexuality. Just something to think about since I quit dating!
It’s a bit of a conflicting feelings for me, even though I personally like it with how easy going this manga is, it tends to feel repetitive on how the story progresses, yet because of those repetition I found myself more interested and immersed? It’s something that I personally enjoy and like yet It just felt a bit disappointing on how this beautifully crafted world are well… repetitive.
The story itself is good though, i’m just wondering what the author took too be able to fit all of this complex and to be honest sensitive matter into this 6 volume serialization, like girl yes please tell me ur dealer😭😭
But yeah back again, seeing that this series is still ongoing??? at least that’s what I know of… I have a really high expectation and hopes for this series to blossom more.
