He guards the net with ice in his veins. But when he falls, I’m the only one who can put him back together.
Lukas Eriksson is the Wolves’ legendary goalie—thirty-four, untouchable, unshakable, and colder than the rink he rules. Until the night he collapses mid-game and suddenly I’m the rookie medic forced to keep him alive.
He hates needing anyone. I hate arrogant athletes who think rules don’t apply to them. So why can’t I stop thinking about him?
Every rehab session turns into a battle of wills. Every stare feels like a dare. Until one argument breaks wide open into something raw, reckless, and hungry.
One night together should have been the end. Instead, it’s the beginning of a secret that could destroy us both.
Because Lukas isn’t just fighting for his career anymore. He’s fighting for me. For us. For the baby neither of us saw coming.
And the more he claims me as his, the harder it gets to remember why we shouldn’t fall.
Guard My Net is a dark, high-heat MM hockey romance featuring a brooding veteran goalie, a sharp-tongued team medic, forbidden desire, and a possessive twist of mpreg obsession. Book 2 in the Blood on the Ice series, but can be read as a standalone.

This was very similar to book 1. It was slightly shorter but had a bit more emotion than book 1 which improved it. I didn't feel as disconnected from the MMC's. Both Novellas are quick easy reads with a bit of spice and can be finished in one sitting too. This was not a bad read but needed more for me to love it.
This one was pretty similar to the first one. There were a lot of things that felt the same. But I liked the characters from the first story more than these two. Lukas was kind of an ass at first but he ended up being really sweet. Noah was alright but nothing stood out to me. I’m just confused because this all started with Lukas having a shoulder injury that turned into heart problems but his shoulder was never even rehabbed or fixed. They only focused on the heart issue. So what happened to his shoulder? It just magically got better? Also another mpreg in a non omegaverse world.
