It’s a Crime Boss Christmas! Cat and Alejandro are hosting Christmas this year and everyone is coming! Well, except for Isaiah who no one has heard from. But they’re all still going to try and celebrate the holiday. Only Cat might be getting coal in her stocking, Maeve isn’t feeling so great, Faith thinks she’s ruined Christmas, and Immy might have run over Rudolph. Christmas is shaping up to be very interesting this year . . .
Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
Do Crime Bosses celebrate Christmas? They sure do if they’re also Daddies! And when they’re Laylah Roberts’ Crime Boss Daddies, they have their hands full if they want to make it to Christmas without accidents. Because their Littles may try to be good girls, they usually fail…..and even a threat that Santa will leave a coal in their stockings can’t prevent them from getting into trouble. I had so much fun with their shenanigans, and the way their Daddies dealt with them! Laylah Roberts gave them all the perfect Christmas, even with their worries about those who were absent……
Cat and Immy are both convinced they have an Evil Elfie that tells their Daddies what they’re up to. And Cat has plans to take that little tattletale down,it told her Papi one time too often what she’d been doing!! Immy wants the same….because who else could’ve told her Daddies she’d been wrapping her presents instead of taking a nap?? Maeve has a different problem…..she seems to have caught a bug,one that makes her feel really bad every morning. There’s no way she’s going to tell her Daddy though…..she wants to celebrate Christmas with her besties! Faith hates flying, but because she wants her Daddy to spend as much time with his sister and her men in Wishingbone, she’ll do it. But then they hit turbulence, and had to land when the weather got too bad to continue. And she knew it was her fault…..she shouldn’t have wished for the flight to be cancelled!
What will Christmas bring these “sweet” Littles and their Daddies? Will the girls get what they wished for,or….. And will the Daddies be able to keep them safe while they’re up to their mischief? Find out in A Crime Boss Daddy Christmas!!
Do you ever finish a series and immediately miss the characters like they are old friends? That is exactly why I loved A Crime Boss Daddy Christmas. This book is like getting a holiday invitation back into the world you didn’t want to leave. We get to check in with each couple from the Crime Boss Daddies series, chapter by chapter, catching up on their lives, their love, and all the things that made us swoon the first time we met them.
Laylah Roberts is so good at making characters feel real and lovable. Getting to revisit them was such a treat and honestly my favorite part of the whole experience. It reminded me why these relationships captured my heart in the first place.
One important thing to know. This is not a standalone story. You really do need to read the series first to understand the dynamics and all the delicious connections between the couples and their friends. But the series is fantastic so that is hardly a hardship.
It is fun, cozy, and full of that found family warmth that makes the holidays extra special. A perfect stocking stuffer for anyone obsessed with this series.
Ms. Roberts has a gift. She writes with such ease, and in my experience, she always excels. Her smooth, relaxed writing style allows readers to slip effortlessly into her characters’ world. This short story was an absolute gem and delivered on all fronts, vivid imagery, bursts of humor, charm, an evil elf, and a group of mischievous littles who thrive on chaos. And the icing on the cake? Having my favorite characters from the Crime Boss Daddies series back together again. I also adored the unique ways some of the littles soothed themselves, it added such heart and individuality.
It’s nearly Christmas, and the littles and their daddies are on their way to Cat and Alejandro’s home in Southampton to celebrate the holiday as a family. But the big question is: have they been well-behaved enough for Santa to visit?
Cat certainly hasn’t lost her spark. She’s up to her usual antics, sassy, feisty, boundary-pushing, and constantly testing Alejandro’s patience. Unpredictable as ever, you never knew what trouble she would stumble into next. Alejandro, however, was far from impressed, leaving Cat with more than one sore backside. She continues to delight in tormenting Doomy Gloomy and McGrump’s face, and their interactions were priceless.
Immy managed to get herself in trouble between her daddy and papa, especially when she was caught wrapping presents instead of resting. Her way of soothing herself was uniquely hers, and completely endearing. My heart broke when she lost her smile, believing she had injured a reindeer while sledding.
Maeve was looking forward to spending Christmas with her family, despite feeling unwell and hiding a secret from the ever-protective Gray. When the truth comes out, his reaction is one readers won’t want to miss.
Faith and Reuben’s journey to Wishing added an emotional layer. Faith’s fear of flying left her panicked, despite her daddy’s reassurance. Would her nightmare come true? I loved seeing a softer side of Reuben, a side I didn’t even know existed. Faith was his Achilles heel, his only weakness, though in my opinion he remains as pigheaded and overconfident as ever.
This story was special to me in so many ways. It ignited my emotions and delivered humor, angst, secrets, and sizzling sex scenes. I absolutely loved it!
It was wonderful visiting with old friends. Maeve has a huge secret she is keeping from Grey. Cat has a vendetta against her Christmas elf. Faith is so afraid of flying that she’s almost made herself sick and she thinks she spies a very famous couple.Immy has made herself sick from eating too much candy and is in trouble for skipping her nap time and through it all everyone is worried about Isaiah and Charlie. This is a very enjoyable read.
I really had to do a smile to myself when reading this wonderful book, because lets face it these littles are always getting into trouble. Especially Cat when she has an ememy of sorts, the evil elf. Then we have Grey and Mauve, she has a secret that only her and her friends know, but can they keep a secret until they get the results they want.
This is such a wonderful christmas story well worth reading , just loved it.
I love this series!!!! The things that Cat does and says is so funny to me I mean LOL funny…I don’t wanna give away spoilers but can’t wait for Maeve’s gift to get here!!!! And definitely can’t wait to find out what Isaiah is up too and for Charlie’s story…keep up the good work Layla you are definitely my favorite author…there was one editing error that I found on the 1st read hopefully won’t find anymore when I read it again!!
I've missed this crew. This was a fun little novella to catch us up on all the couples. Cute holiday fun and antics. Just enough to keep us caught up and anxious for what's to come! I need all the stories for all the characters stat... Lol. Abe, Sampson, Isaiah, Raphael and Charlie need their own stories and I'm patiently waiting...... Kinda patiently 😊
For laylah Roberts fans, this is a great addition to some of her series. Its always nice to revisit book friends and catch up. If you've never read her books about wishingbone , Montana and the wonderful people there, you have missed kinky times. Then continue meeting more new friends in crime boss daddies and MC daddies. Well worth the time.
Love coming back into the craziness of Cat and her family, both married into and from her previous life. A little bit of hi-jinks, a few mis-truths, some outside winter activities and the worry about the "evil" elf.
I enjoyed this story and catching up with all the couples. If you have enjoyed the series, you need to get this book. If you haven't read the series, just get this book and it'll make you want to read the series. 😊😊
Nobody does it better…… i always look forward to a update on the girls and guys Laylah writes…… only thing that would have made it better is the Fox except Alejandro has his own.
i Loved this book! I laughed so much reading it. The way that Cat reacted towards the elf was so funny. I highly recommend everyone to read it this holiday.
Another awesome book with the mafia series from Miss Laylah. Such an awesome read. I was happy to see what Cat and her friends were up to. Please note that you have to read the previous books so you can enjoy this one. It's not stand alone.
It’s a great story with all the previous characters making an appearance for Christmas. It’s well written and very entertaining. The Daddy/Little dialogues are absolutely hilarious. If nothing else, the story is full of Christmas cheer which is perfect for this time of year. A great story for the holidays. I can’t wait to hear that Isaiah is finally safe and coming home. I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and are voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a cute book with individual chapters with different couples to move the story along. The Littles and their Daddies are on their way to celebrate with Cat and Alejandro. The theme for Cat is that she has named her elf on a shelf "Evil Elfie" because he is tattling not only to Santa but also to her Daddy. That one is hilarious. We also read about the rest of the Littles and their Daddies. I enjoyed the story even though it is a quick read.
Loved! Loved! Loved it! To have my favorite Crime Boss characters all in one Christmas story made my heart all soft and squishy! To read about all their antics made me laugh out loud so many times! I thoroughly enjoyed how each couple got their own little stories all tied up into one big bundle of holiday happiness. Cat and Papi cracked me up so much! She is always the ringleader of the Littles and rightfully so. This was such a delightful read and I loved every minute of it!
I always look forward to Laylah’s Christmas novellas, and this year’s story did not disappoint. It was such a treat to spend more time with some of my favorite characters, especially the Crime Boss crew. This novella is a quick, delightful read packed with shenanigans, an evil elf, a fun Christmas surprise, and even a few unexpectedly emotional moments. A perfect holiday escape!
I love these guys so much but oh boy cat takes the award. It was fantastic to catch up with this motley free I laughed from the first chapter to the very last, it was brilliant, good fun and perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit. I am also rooting on take down the evil elves tattletales the lot.
A lovely book that brings us up to date with everyone in the Crime Daddies series. There are hi jinks, evil elves, OPD and an exciting event for Maeve. The knitted gifts were hilarious as was the scene with Rudolph and was that Santa and Mrs Claus? The perfect reading at Christmas.
This just made my day! I love this series and getting to see Cat and Alejandro and all the other characters made this such a fun read. I laughed and laughed. You know those Littles will be getting into lots of mischief that will make their Daddies shake their heads! LOL
