It wasn’t for me. I didn’t dislike it, but I really didn’t love it either. I really couldn’t tell when he was being a little or he was being an adult. He was just switching back-and-forth and it was hard to keep track of when it was happening. I also I don’t feel like they resolve anything at the ending. I personally think there could’ve been more written before she jumped to the epilogue and ended the book.

Wow

This was so good. Clueless Cyrus talking with Tye was fun. I adored Georgie. What a great addition to The Lactin Brotherhood series. Made me want Tye’s story.

Cute and quick read

I enjoyed this a lot! George is a little that is surviving on his own in his run down Victorian house. Cyrus is his downstairs tenant and after an incident involving a broken bottle of milk, Cyrus offers George milk from the source.
These two are cute together but as stupid as each other as they don’t even realise they are in a relationship!! A cute, quick read, thoroughly enjoyed!

Soothed by Daddy by Kerry Kilpatrick is part of The Lactin Brotherhood series by various authors. It is the story of a man who lactates and doesn’t think he is a Daddy but he finds out that he is when he finds the right Boy. George Winslow is a little who writes technical manuals for API purposes from his home, a large Victorian house that has good bones but needs a lot of work updating it, which he thinks he can do but finds out that it’s not as easy as he thought it would be. He bought it after his ex cheated on him because he wanted something of his own but overestimated his ability to follow the instructions needed to complete the renovation. He had had an apartment made in the house to make some more money while he worked on it and it was currently rented to Cyrus Russo. Cyrus worked in construction but was very quiet and barely acknowledged George as he went on his way. He had been married a land developer who liked to show how down to earth he was with his blue collar husband but when he started lactating he was horrified, made him see a doctor who said there wasn’t much they could do about it, and made him pump away from him. This eventually led to their breakup and now he was wary of having any kind of relationship, just sticking to himself and occasional hookups. When the story starts George is having a horrible day with the executive he is making a manual for changing his mind all the time and he is now on the 5th edition of it which is causing him to be at his wits end. Plus he is sore from stripping wallpaper in his entry hall. Then he is going to play, watch cartoons and have a bottle made with milk from the Lactin Brotherhood but he drops it and it’s the only one he had so he starts crying. Cyrus has just come home and hears him and being the caring person he is, knocks on his door and asks what is wrong. When George finally says he dropped his special milk and doesn’t have more Cyrus says he can get it from him. He has never had anyone feed from him and when Cyrus does it is like nothing he has felt before and it makes him never want to pump again. Later he sees him working on his hallway and asks if he is a little, which he doesn’t know a lot about but his friend Tye gave him some information. He says he’ll help George with the hallway if he helps him by drinking from him. They strike a bargain and start to feel a connection which eventually leads to a kiss and then more. But Cyrus insists that they can’t have a relationship but they can be friends with benefits. They continue having dinners, going into town, playing at the park, spending the night with each other, and kissing and doing more, but he keeps insisting they are not dating or having a relationship. Then George’s ex shows up and wants to talk. This leads Cyrus to seek out his friend Tye’s opinion and he finally does come to the realization that they are dating and he wants more. He confronts George at 3 in the morning and they both know this is what they want which leads to more hot love scenes and declaring their love for each other. I really enjoyed this story. George is a sweet little dino boy that deserves better than he had and thinks he can find it with Cyrus but Cyrus doesn’t want a relationship so he bides his time. He can become little very quickly and enjoys all that Cyrus does for and with him, especially drinking his sweet milk right from the source. Cyrus was hurt badly in his divorce and isn’t a Daddy but the more he spends time with George the more he likes being his caregiver and playing with him. It takes some doing and his friend Tye to figure out that he really is dating George and that he doesn’t want to stop. Luckily George waited for him to discover this so they could have their happy ending. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like Daddy/Boy and lactation stories about a man who doesn’t think he is a Daddy but finds a Boy who enjoys his milk and his company and is willing to wait until he figures out that they are meant to be together and find love.

George needs a daddy desperately but he makes due with getting a reward for himself and his little self once a week with a bottle of precious chestmilk.
Being alone he isn’t able to fully regress to the point that’s most soothing for him…he is devastated and crying loudly when he spills his milk.
His tenant Cyrus is a natural daddy - you wouldn‘t believe he is new to the lifestyle - he can’t help himself trying to calm George down and help him feeling better again in every way possible.

Luck is on their side because Cyrus lactates - so they help each other out and their symbiotic relationship begins.
That is the only relationship Cyrus is able and willing to give! Well Cyrus - tsk, tsk…don‘t count your chickens before they get hatched!
Soon after starting their arrangement both can’t keep their hands off each other when nursing and they become friends with benefits.

„Baby, you might ki*l me, but there can’t be a better way to die.“

Cyrus underestimated George and the effect he has on him and the feelings he brings out in him. He feels satisfied and content and wants to care for George (who wouldn’t) all the time especially when he is little. To take care for a little is new to Cyrus but he fits right into all of it - he is very considerate and open and the most important thing to him is to make „his boy“ happy.

The lines of their friends with benefits agrrangement definitely get blurred on more than one occasions.
Sweet, sunshiny , happy Georgie wiggled himself right into Cyrus‘s heart … Cyrus didn’t stand a chance - but he takes his time realizing that they are the real deal!

When they finally make it happen it’s amazing… they just fit easy, uncomplicated, perfectly - just like it was ment to be!

I received an ARC copy and that’s my honest review…

I have only read 1 or 2 books where lactation was a feature so I can’t really speak to what lactations books usually are and can only speak on my experience. I really liked this book. “Soothed by Daddy” by Kerry Kilpatrick is part of the multi-author series The Lactin Brotherhood.

This book is loosely connected to the authors originally created world and can be read as a stand alone. This book is spicy. It is a relationship that starts as one thing but naturally develops into more. George and his tenant Cyrus are perfect for each other. The book moves quickly because it is short but still there are weeks/months involved that show their relationship, and it’s not an instant thing outside of the bedroom. These are two MCs I hope make cameos in other books by this author and there are other secondary characters that I would love to see more of. There are a couple cameo name drops in this book from other series and I like how they are a natural part of the story and not just name drops for the sake of it and don’t clutter the story.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

At this point, I'm not sure Kerry Kilpatrick could write anything I would dislike. Every one of her stories is a fluffy, swoony and sweetly comforting escape from reality, and her addition to the Lactin Brotherhood series is no exception.

George and Cyrus's journey starts with crying over spilled milk - literally - and quickly becomes more for both men. Their dynamic unfolds quickly but with the care that Kilpatrick is known for, and you can't help but hope that they can work through their hesitations to find something real together. The blend of intimacy, humor and genuine affection make this book worth the read on their own, but the way the author handles the lactation and kink elements with warmth and authenticity is what really stands out.

As expected with this author, this is low-angst done right. It is sweet and funny and full of the kind of warmth that makes you want to curl up with a warm drink and read it in one sitting. If you love caregiving, unexpected connections, and a well-deserved HEA, add this to your TBR.

After heartbreak and betrayal, George Winslow retreats into solitude, determined to avoid emotional entanglements. But when a spilt glass of Lactin Brotherhood milk triggers unexpected vulnerability, his aloof yet nurturing tenant, Cyrus Russo, steps in—offering comfort through nursing, a gesture that defies convention and awakens deeper needs. As their unconventional bond grows, George finds solace in Cyrus’s quiet strength and reliability. Yet Cyrus, burdened by his own past, resists the idea of love. When George’s ex resurfaces, threatening the fragile peace they’ve built, Cyrus must confront his fears and choose whether to walk away or fight for the connection that’s transformed them both.

I enjoyed this story with the two men fulfilling a need for each other and how that brought them much closer. I enjoyed the chat that Cyrus had with his colleague, who basically gave him some badly needed home truths. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic with male lactation.

Part of a multi-author series (The Lactin Brotherhood), but can be read as a standalone. Daddy/little. Lactation kink. Quick read. Dual POV.

Cyrus is his tenant and neighbor, and when he finds George having a bad day and missing his special treat, Cyrus offers his own milk to help. George knows it’s only friends with benefits, but slipping into his little space and allowing Cyrus to be his Daddy seems so easy with the caring man.

This story really felt like what a romance should be for me, an unexpected special connection, complementary wants and needs, and tons of sweet kindness and joy. Cyrus is a natural Daddy and George never pushes for more than he thinks Cyrus is willing to give him. I really enjoyed this story, with two men that seem meant for each other, they appreciate the other, and find happiness together. 4.5 rounded up

It's odd that this will be the last book I read in the series and it's actually decent... it's just that I'm done with the series in general.

This time there are actually 2 very clear characters, I liked both and particularly George was fun to read, his POV was sarcastic and cute, it felt like one by a little with depth of character. Cyrus was also lovable and well, a bit of jealousy was interesting in him.

Their relationship goes from sharing something very personal, very kinky or niche to becoming friends and more than friends... while sped up, still very natural. I appreciate that.

If I were to recommend any of the books in the series it would be this one.

George is a Little who drinks chest milk. Cyrus is his renter and an omega who lactates. When Georgie runs out of milk, Cyrus offers to let him nurse. Their friendly relationship turns into something more. But they were fooling themselves thinking they could be " friends with benefits". George was a delightful mix of grown up/ Little with lots more Little than Cyrus thought. Cyrus was a more stoic, grump but thought he couldn't be a Daddy for George until he easily caved to more benefits, caretaking, feeding and all the good stuff. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.

I received an ARC copy of this for an honest review. I adore this author so much. I have never read a lactation book before, so this was new. I didn't hate it. We definitely still got her signature Daddy/little story, which I loved, and this was a super sweet story. I really liked both guys in this one and seeing them overcome terrible exes. We did also get tiny cameos or mentions of characters from her other series which I loved.

Very sweet, easy and quick to read, entertaining story. I read it in one sitting. Cyrus and George are both sweet and complement each other even if Cyrus is completely oblivious of the fact for most of the book, and it's really cute to read when he finally realises it.

Soothed by Daddy by Kerry Kilpatrick is part of the multi-author The Lactin Brotherhood series but is a standalone.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

What a thoroughly enjoyable read. I was pulled in from the beginning by the endearing characters and really enjoyed their journey. Not a lot of Daddy kink/play but that didn't matter or make me enjoy it any less. I loved the part when Cyrus has his "awakening" realising that he is in a relationship and wants to stay in it! George/Georgie was a perfect partner for him. Highly recommended

Daddy, little boy

An unexpected situation leads to a man discovering he's a Daddy and a little who definitely needs a Daddy.
They recognize a need each can fulfill for the other and try to work as a friends with benefits situation but soon the lines are blurred.
They both realize they'll have to be brave if they want something more.
A sweet, tender story about helping each other heal.

George and Cyrus’s book is so cute! The book starts with a bad day, a sad little, and a man who wants to make it better. I love how sweet this book is and the ending is perfect. It has a wonderful amount of spice and sweetness, and the Lactin Brotherhood aspect just adds to both. While this book is part of the Lactin Brotherhood series it stands alone. This is a wonderful Daddy/Little book and you should definitely read it!

This was hands down the best “Are we or aren’t we dating?” resolution I’ve ever read! I love the way Kerry writes ageplay—I’ve enjoyed her other books, so I had to jump ahead in the Lactin Brotherhood series and grab this one right away. Totally worth it.

Georgie is just so adorable and cute. This was not your typical Daddy Little story, but it worked perfectly well for these characters. I also love who the author mixed in some beloved characters from her other books too.

Part of the lactin brotherhood series, this is a story with a unique feature.
Cyrus has a special condition which makes him special to the right person. George his landlord just so happens to be the one whose kink aligns perfectly with Cyrus’s needs.
As they come together and help each other, they overcome past hursts and form a relationship that brings out the best in both of them.

A story about a first time Daddy, a little who needs a guiding hand and lots of time spent on Daddy’s lap.
This was a cute, entertaining read.

The storyline is interesting enough. The two meeting each other’s need and then somehow falling for each other. It’s cute and there are elements which made me laugh out loud, but given how short the story was, it felt not believable when they fell for each other. Or rather when they broke out that jealousy thing and confronted each other about feelings.

Though i will say the fishing scene was funny. I’d read the story just for that scene.
